We have fabricated porous aluminum oxide using flexible and thin aluminum foils with thickness of 0.025 and 0.2 mm. These foils were anodized with 0.3 M oxalic acid solution after being electropolished with ethanol/perchloric acid. During the anodization, the temperature of the electrolyte was maintained at $9^{\circ}C$ and the anodization voltage was varied between 0.4 and 40 V The surface of the anodized aluminum oxide was studied with a scanning electron microscope. From the scanning electron micrograph, we observed that when the voltage applied was above 1 V for a long period of time, due to a strong electrolysis reaction in electrolyte, the surface of the anodized oxide was destroyed. However, when the anodization voltage was less than 1 V, the anodization process was very stable and lasted much longer. Our results show that for a thin aluminum foil, unlike a thick plate, one requires small anodization voltage less than 1 V to form a porous aluminum oxide for long anodization time.

In Vollenhovia emeryi (Hymenoptera: Myrmicinae), the queen and the male are known to be clonally reproduced. Its colonies can be classified into the two morphs with the wing length of the queen caste. The morph with normal wings is called the long-winged and the other the short-winged that is brachypterous. Even though the two morphs are considered a species, investigation on the species status of the two morphs was suggested with natural separation in nature and the distinctive wing morphology. It has yet to be determined whether the clonally reproduced queen caste is haploid or diploid. Our data clearly show that the two morphs are the same species and the queen caste is diploid on the basis of the genome size data comparison.

우리나라는 수도권 중심의 거점성장 정책을 통한 경제발전을 추진해 왔다. 거점성장 정책이 경제발전은 가져 왔지만 수도권의 인구집 중을 유발하였다. 수도권의 인구집중이 산업 부문에서는 노동력 공급의 긍정적인 측면으로 작용하지만, 정치ㆍ사회적 측면에서는 환경문제, 정책적 지원의 부담을 함께 가져온다 또한 인구의 편재로 인해 타지역과의 불균형을 유발하는 문제점도 내재한다. (중략)

본 논문에서는 임의의 충격이 있는 시스템 모형에서, 두 가지 시스템 관리정책인 임의점검정책과 주기점검 정책을 채택 한다. 시스템의 상태와 수리에 관련된 비용들을 고려한 후, 각 관리정책 하에서 장시간에 걸친 단위시간당 평균비용을 최소화하는 최적 점검주기를 구하고, 두 관리정책의 비교연구를 수행한다.
