DC-Pulse Plasma와 Thermal MOCVD방법으로 증착된 TiN 박막의 특성에 관한 연구

  • TDEAT precursor를 이용하여 DC-Pulse Plasma MOCVD 방법과 Thermal MOCVD 방법으로 각각 TiN 박막을 증착하였다. 본 논문에서는 DC-Pulse Plasma MOCVD 방 법으로 증착된 TiN 박막과 Therrnal MOCVD 방법으로 증착된 TiN 박막의 전기적 특성에 관하여 비교 분석하였다. 동일한 조건 하에서 각각의 방법으로 증착된 박막은 4-point probe를 이용하여 면저항을 측정하였고, XRD를 이용하여 박막의 성장방향을 관찰하였으며, FE-SEM을 이용하여 박막의 두께와 단면 사진, 표면형상을 관찰하였으며, AES depth profile을 통해 두께에 따른 Ti, N, 잔류 C와 0의 함량을 분석하였으며, XPS를 통해 C의 결합형태를 파악하고자 하였다. 분석결과 DC-Pulse Plasma MOCVD 방법으로 증착된 TiN 박막이 Thermal MOCVD 방법으로 증착된 TiN 박막에 비해 전기적 특성은 매우 우수하였으며, 치밀한 구조의 박막을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 잔류 C, O의 함량이 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

The Effects of Electroplating Parameters on the Mechanical Properties of Nickel-Iron Alloy Electrodeposits (Ni-Fe 합금 도금층의 기계적 물성에 영향을 미치는 도금인자)

  • The mechanical properties of Ni-Fe alloy were varied with the current type, current density and bath conditions such as concentrations and temperature. The effect of electroplating parameters on the surface hardness, mechanical strength, residual stress and wear properties were investigated. The mechanical properties of electrodeposits with PC plating is superior to those with DC plating. Ni-Fe electrodeposits with PC has approximately 50% lower residual stress than that of DC plating. The tensile strength of PC electroplated specimen was 15% higher than that of DC electroplated specimen. The wear resistance of PC specimen was 30% improved relative to that of DC specimen.

  • This paper studies the state estimation problem for the current of DC/DC boost converters with parasitic inductor resistance. The parasitic resistance increases the system uncertainty when the output load variation occurs. In order to enhance the observation performance of the Luenberger observer this paper includes the integral of the estimation error signal to the estimation algorithm. By using the proposed PI observer the converter current signal is successfully reconstructed with the voltage measurement regardless of the load uncertainty. Computer simulation has been carried out by using Simulink/Sim Power System. Simulation results show the proposed method maintains robust estimation performance against the model uncertainty.

A Study on Residual DC Characteristics in the in-plane Switching Liquid Crystal Display by Light Minimum/Maximum Method (광 최소/최대법을 이용한 IPS-LCD의 잔류 DC특성 연구)

  • The residual DC properties in the in-plane switching (IPS) liquid crystal displays(LCDs) which have different concentrations of cynao NLCs and different resistivities of fluorine NLCs were studied. We also propose a new residual DC measurement method, named 'light minimum/maximum method'. We confirmed the precision of residual DC measurement by light minimum/maximum method compared with the flicker minimizing method and found that new measurement method of residual DC is more accurate than that of the conventional flicker minimizing method since the resolution level of measurements is in 0.1V.

  • The voltage holding ratio (VHR) and Residual DC property in the in-plane switching (IPS) cell was studied Several IPS cells which have different concentrations of cynao liquid crystals (LCs) and different resistivities of fluorine LCs were fabricated VHR and residual DC voltage in the IPS cells using the capacitance-voltage (C-V) hysteresis method was measured. We found that the VHR of the IPS cell was decreasing with increasing concentration of cyano LC. The residual DC voltage of the IPS cell was decreasing with increasing concentration of cyano LCs. We suggest that the high polarity of cyano LC helps reducing the residual DC voltage.

  • Residual DC voltage of the in-plane switching (IPS)-liquid crystal display(LCD) by voltage-transmittance (V-T) hysteresis method was studied. Several IPS-LCD which have different concentrations of cynao LCs and different resistivities of fluorine LCs were fabricated. We found that the residual DC voltage of the IPS-LCD was decreasing with increasing concentration of cyano LCs and increasing with decreasing specific resistivity of fluorine LC materials. The residual DC voltage property can be improved by low molecular weight and high polarity of cyano LC.

  • The voltage holding ratio(VHR) and the residual DC property in the in-plane switching (IPS) cells on a polyimide surface was studied. Several IPS cells which have different concentrations of cyano liquid crystals (LCs) were fabricated. We found that the VHR of the IPS cell was decreased with increasing concentration of cyano LCs. Also, the VHR of the IPS cell was increased with increasing specific resistivity of fluorine LCs. The residual DC voltage of the IPS cell by capacitance-voltage (C-V) hysteresis method was decreased with increasing concentration of cyano LCs. The residual DC property of the IPS cell on the rubbed PI surface can be improved by high polarity of cyano LC.
