To improve the productivity of the earthwork, a fleet management system for construction equipment was suggested in previous studies. But there were some gaps between theory and practice. To overcome this problem, some opinions are gathered form experts and field engineers and four improvements have been proposed and reflected in the system. First, the previous system consists of one hardware module, so it is hard to install it at a control office and construction equipment at the same time. The server module for the office and the mobile module for construction equipment are separately developed. Second, the transportation algorithm that is used in the previous system can generate shortest paths for the earthwork distribution, but embankment areas are not gathered. This situation leads to a decrease in compaction productivity. A modified algorithm for earthwork distribution is suggested. Third, the automated coordinate transformation is performed to show the position of construction equipment on the 3D terrain in real-time. Fourth, construction equipment groups should be formed in the initial stage of earthwork and the number of equipment of each groups should be changed by operation status and site environment. But this functions did not work properly in the previous system. This problem is corrected in the proposed system. The improvements can make the proposed system much more realistic one and can leads to an increase in the productivity of earthwork operations.

Cucumber fruits requires a lot of labor to harvest in time in Korea, since the fruits are cut and grabbed by hand. In this study, we developed an end-effector for robotic harvester of cucumber fruits. Its development involved the integration of an end-effector system with a PC compatible, DC motors, and a motor controller board. Software, written in Pic-basic, combined the functions of motor control with various circumstances. Cucumber's properties were measured and analyzed for precision of the end-effector. The results were similar to those of other vegetables. Properties including hardness of cucumber fruits were used as basic data for development of a harvester.

This paper is concerned about applying the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) for a priority analysis of equipment operation plan to improve productivity of the container terminal in Gwangyang port. In this study, main elements of container terminal are assumed as into yard equipment area, transport equipment area, berth equipment area and C/Center area. A questionnaire is used to collect the opinions of equipment operating department and operational planning department. On the whole, the result of the analyses reveals that the most important area is yard equipment area. Examining each department is responses, equipment operating department preferred the C/Center area to other areas, on the other hand, operational planning department preferred yard equipment area. The result of this study suggests some guidelines for deciding priority of operation plan in the container terminal.

This study intended to investigate the effects of the subtitle location on the decreased working memory abilities caused by aging. A junior group (average age: 26, SD: 3.06, N=27) and a senior group (average age: 61.69, SD=4.18, N=26) participated in this study and they all performed N-back tasks which measured the working memory ability of the participants and video subtitle recognition tasks that assessed the most effectively recognized subtitle locations in the video. The results of the N-back task revealed slower response times and low accuracy rates in the senior group in comparison to the junior group, suggesting lower working memory abilities in the senior group vis-à-vis the junior group. The deterioration of working memory due to aging also negatively influenced the 'left-bottom' subtitle location in the video subtitle recognition task and positively influenced the 'left-center' location of the screen. The deterioration of working memory ability did not affect other subtitle locations. By examining the positive or negative effects of the deterioration of working memory ability as a function of age on subtitle locations, the present study suggests that the selection of suitable subtitle locations taking into account the ages of video viewers would cause information to be more effectively displayed on screen.

This paper presets the process of knowledge aquisition by partitioning the phase of analysis & design for knowledge-base module construction of Expert System into five steps to derive rule systematically. Also, this paper presents the process and the task that knowledge engineer must do work each step. The knowledge-base module of STAFS expert system was constructed by considering the destruction rate and the commander\`s intention using the proposed rule derivation methodology.

This study evaluates representability and comprehensivity of the Theasurus in theeconomics and industry fields of the "General Thesaurus of Newspaper Articles." The methodsused in the study were, first, indexing of the pages covering economics and industry articlesusing the Thesaurus and second, comparing the Thesaurus terms with the words collectedfrom the newspapers articles and glossaries. The study clarifies the following problems whichmight occur in the construction and use of newspaper thesaurus: specificity of the subjectconcepts, separation of component concept, preference relationship between descriptors andentry terms, the methods of recording of proper nouns and allocation of terms among thesubject areas concern.he subject areas concern.

전자상거래의 인구는 매년 급속히 증가하고 있으며, 또한 전자상거래의 대다수 쇼핑몰 사이트가 패스워드를 기반으로 사용자를 인증하고 있다. 그런데 사용자는 이런 패스워드 기반 사이트를 방문하면서 보안과 안전을 고려하지 않고 패스워드를 만들어서 사용하고 있다. 이러한 패스워드는 사용자의 프라이버시의 침해와 개인정보가 노출이 되는 문제를 안고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 관리적 측면에서 패스워드를 해독하여 해독하기 쉬운 일반적이고 평이한 패스워드를 사용자는 mail를 통해 알려서 패스워드의 위험성을 주지시키도록 한다. 사용자의 패스워드를 알기 위해서는 암호해독 기법이 필요 하는데 이 해독기법을 빠르고 정확하게 하기 위해서 분산화 된 동적 작업배분방법을 이용한 병렬처리 패스워드 해독 기법을 제안하여 구현하였다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 암호해독을 하여 진자상거래에서 사용자가 사용한 패스워드를 안전하게 관리할 수 있도록 하고, 사용자의 프라이버시를 효과적으로 보호 할 수 있는 모델을 제안한다.

In this paper, we developed a heuristic algorithm to assign job to workers in parallel line inspection process without sequence. Objective of assigning job in inspection process is only to assign job to workers evenly. But this objective needs much time and effort since there are many cases in assigning job and cases increase geometrically if the number of job and worker increases. In order to solve this problem, we proposed heuristic algorithm to assign job to workers evenly. Experiments of assigning job are performed to evaluate performance of this heuristic algorithm. The result shows that heuristic algorithm can find the optimal solution to assign job to workers evenly in many type of cases. Especially, in case there are more than two optimal solutions, this heuristic algorithm can find the optimal solution with 98% accuracy.

이 논문에서는 폭넓게 사용되지만 컴퓨터의 메모리 계층 구조상에서 병목지점으로 알려진 하드디스크의 획기적인 성능향상을 위해서 메모리 시스템이 내장된 새로운 형태의 디스크 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는 디스크 구조에서는 디스크에 메모리를 혼용하여 사용함으로써 디스크 응답시간을 크게 줄이고, 입출력을 빠르게 처리할 수 있다. 64MB까지의 디스크 메모리를 탑재한 경우 두 가지 실제 트레이스에 의한 시뮬레이션 결과 20여명이 사용하는 공유 시스템의 작업부하에서는 최대 80% 정도의 히트율을 통하여 최대 1/2, 그리고 개인용 시스템의 경우 초대 85% 가량의 히트율을 통해 1/5 수준으로 응답시간을 단축할 수 있었다. 앞으로 디스크에 단순히 메모리를 추가하는데 그치지않고 데이터 블록의 배치 방법, 데이터 분산 배분 방법, 보관정책, 선인출 방법 등을 이용하면 추가된 디스크 메모리의 효용을 극대화할 수 있다.

자본주의적 시장경제에서 재벌기업이 유리한 것은 너무도 당연한 일이 되어 중소기업의 육성을 위한 종소기업법이 제정되어 중소기업도 보호를 받게 되었다. 우리나라는 경제체제로서 자본주의적 시장경제를 채택하고 있다. 기본적인 경제문제의 해결을 시장기구에 맡기고 있는 것이다. 이러한 체제에서 생산과 판매에 많은 자본을 투입할 수 있는 재벌기업이 유리할 수밖에 없는 것은 너무도 당연한 일이다. 우리 축산관련분야도 양돈 동물약품 배합사료업계가 재벌기업의 참여로 계층간의 문제가 표면화되기 시작하여 천민자본주의 형태로 가고있지 않느냐 하는 걱정을 하게 되었다. 서구 선진국들이 자원배분 소득분배 빈익빈 부익부 독과점 등 시장 실패를 스스로 조정해 나옴으로써 자본주의체제가 살아남을 수 있었던 것처럼 우리도 이러한 조정작업이 필요하게 되었다. 그러하기에 농$\cdot$수$\cdot$축협의 민주화가 요청되고 6공화국 헌법 제123조 2$\cdot$3$\cdot$5항에 중소기업의 보호육성을 명시하였고 중소기업기본법이 제정되었다. 이러한 시대적 요청에서 한국배합사료공업협동조합의 탄생은 필연적이며 앞으로의 역할도 크리라고 생각되어 김용태이사장을 만나보았다.
