  • Predicting survival from microarray data is not easy due to the problem of high dimensionality of data and the existence of censored observations. Also the limitation of individual gene analysis causes the shift of focus to the level of gene sets with functionally related genes. For developing a survival prediction model based on pathway information, the methods for selecting a supergene using principal component analysis and testing its significance for each pathway are discussed. Besides, the performance of gene filtering is compared.

Effects of Semi-structured DIRFloortime® Therapy Using Board Games on Verbal Comprehension and Processing Speed Index in Children With High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders (보드 게임을 활용한 반 구조화된 DIRFloortime® 치료가 고기능 자폐스펙트럼 장애 아동의 언어 이해 및 정보처리 지표 기능향상에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was conducted to explore the effects of semi-structured $DIRFloortime^{(R)}$ treatment on the enhancement of language comprehension and information processing of children with high-performance autistic spectrum disabilities. We measured the general characteristics of the test subjects, which are level of autism, total intelligence, language comprehension and information processing indicators. The intervention method used was a semi-structured $DIRFloortime^{(R)}$ therapy using board game intervention program after revising and supplementing the expert content validity. A pre/post-test for a group was designed as a similar experiment and the pre/post test was initiated with the t certification at .05 of significance level. After initiating the program, the post test has shown that the language comprehension indicators showed statistically significant levels of difference (p<.001) and the information processing indicator also had a statistically significant effect (p<.001). There was a statistically significant difference (p<.001) in the level of verbal comprehension index after the program implementation, and statistically significant differences in the information processing index (p<.001). The semi-structured $DIRFloortime^{(R)}$ treatment using boardgames for enhancing the language comprehension and information processing indicators of children with high performance autistic spectrum disorder had a significant effect.

  • The digital technologies brought a structural transformation to cinema, have lead a change in the way of existence of an assembly of images called cinema, and have shared expression methods with new-media. To look into how in terms of cinema style of the film era and the digital era are different, this article will focus on the matter of 'indexicality.' From the point of view of perceptive realism the discourses on digital image deconstruct the dichotomy between illusionism and classical realism. Therefore the actuality of an image does not depend on only indexicality but has much to do with how the viewers fundamentally perceive the image. In this age of digital cinema it does not matter to distinct a composite-image from a reality-image. This article inquires the relation of indexicality, the world and digital images in digital cinema on the level of reception, and reconsider in terms of image production.

Effect of Thermal Environment and Illuminance on the Occupants Works based on the Electroencephalogram and Electrocardiogram Analysis (뇌파와 심전도 분석을 기반으로 한 온열환경 및 조도가 재실자의 업무에 미치는 영향)

  • This research analyzed biosignals associated with the change of emotion from lighting felt by the occupants and task type under various indoor thermal environments and illuminance, and examined the biosignals' impacts on work. To this end, the indoor thermal environment was constructed on the basis of PMV (predicted mean vote) index value, and various indoor environments were created by changing the brightness of LED stands. In this manner, a variety of indoor environments were constructed, and experiments were carried out. This research evaluates the sensibility response to lighting through a questionnaire survey in the given environment and incorporates different types of error searches. In this way, changes were analyzed by measuring electroencephalogram (EEG) and electrocardiograms (ECG). As a result, all biosignals on the task type showed significant differences from the thermal environment change. When PMV index value was 0.8 (temperature: $25^{\circ}C$, humidity: 50 %), concentration and attention were the most activated. However, the biosignals did not show significant differences from the illuminance change. Concentration on an occupant's work capability was confirmed to be closely related to the thermal environment. As for the subjective emotional response to lighting, the occupants felt comfort as illuminance was lower, while they felt discomfort as illuminance was higher. However, there were no significant differences from the thermal environment change.

  • Unsafe working environments slow down working speed in that it takes a lot of time to respond in case of an accident, greatly reducing the productivity of construction work. Therefore, proper safety management that does not impede the productivity of construction works is a very important factor for successful construction project. However especially in mega project, the mutual effects of safety management and productivity are complex. Therefore, this study establishes a causal model between safety management and productivity influencing factors based on effectiveness metrics, and analyzes the effect of increased site congestion due to excessive personnel input, irregular safety measures and inefficient change of work schedules. The result of this study, is expected to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of the construction industry as the basis for establishing a safety management plan that can secure appropriate productivity.

Radiation Exposure on Radiation Workers of Nuclear Power Plants in Korea : 2009-2013 (국내 원전 종사자의 방사선량 : 2009-2013)

  • Although the perfomance indicators of the nuclear power plants in Korea show optimal, it requires detailed analysis and discussion centered on the radiation dose. As analysis methods, analysis on the radiation dose of nuclear power plants over the past five years was assessed by comparing the relevant radiation dose of radiation workers and per capita average annual radiation dose of the world's major nuclear power stations was also analyzed. The radiation workers over the annual radiation dose limit of 50 mSv were not. The contrast ratio of the radiation exposure according to the reactor type was the normal operation of PHWR was 6.2% higher than those of the PWR. This shows the radiation work of PHWR during normal driving operation is much more than those of PWR. According to the Performance Indicators of the World Association of Nuclear Operator, the annual radiation dose per unit in 2013 showed 527 man-mSv of Korea is the best country among the major nuclear power generating states, the world average was 725 man-mSv. The annual per capita radiation dose is about 80% less than 1 mSv of the public dose limit and also the average per capita dose showed a very low level as 0.82 mSv. Workers in related organizations showed 1.07 mSv, the non-destructive inspection agency workers showed 3.87 mSv. The remarkable results were due to radiation reduced program such as development of radiation shielding and radiation protection. In conclusion, the radiation exposured dose of nuclear power plants workers in Korea showed a trend which is ideally reduced. But more are expected to be difficul and the psychological insecurity against the operation of the nuclear power plants is existed to the residents near the nuclear power plants. So the radiation dose reduction policy and radiation dose follow up study of nuclear power plants will be continously excuted.

Assesment of Concentration Using Heart Rate Variability and Electroencephalogram During Short-term Memory Task (심박변화율과 뇌파를 이용한 단기기억 작업시 집중도의 평가)

  • 단기기억 작업시 집중도를 평가하기 위하여 평가용 task를 설계하고 5단계의 난이도에 대하여 실험을 실시하였다. 난이도에 따른 집중도의 변화를 측정하기 위하여 주관평가를 실시하고 행동지표와 생리신호를 측정하였다. 측정된 생리신호 중 전두엽(Ep1, Ep2)에서 측정한 뇌전도 신호의 $\alpha$-band와 $\beta$-band의 전력의 비와, 심박변화율의 전력 스펙트럼의 MF/(LF+MF+HF)비를 구하였다. 실험 결과 집중도 높게 보고된 단계에서 task를 수행함에 따라 뇌전도 신호의 $\alpha$/$\beta$ 비와 심박변화율의 MF/(LF+MF+HF) 비도 점차로 증가하였다.

  • 전 세계적으로 에너지원 확보에 많은 관심을 가지고 있다. 육상유전에서 석유가 고갈되고 있는 시점에서 해양유전개발이 활발하게 이루어지고 있고 해양구조물 발주도 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 해양구조물은 아주 다양한 장비 물품과 복잡한 기하학적 구조를 가지고 있어 설계, 생산, 설치 운용에 어려움을 겪고 있고 기본설계, 장비 등과 같은 핵심기술은 외국에 의존하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 상황을 극복하기 위해서는 해양플랜트 산업분야의 설계 및 생산기술력이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 해양구조물의 설계와 생산 작업에 중요한 인자로 적용되는 초기생산 단가산정 알고리즘을 이용한 Tool을 제시하고자 한다. 초기원가산정 알고리즘을 개발함으로써 생산 공정의 난이도를 미리 예측하여 준비 및 대비 할 수 있도록 하여 생산 공정의 발전을 이끌 수 있고 초기 설계 단계에서 사전 평가에 중요한 지표로 활용하며 설계 작업에 가이드라인을 제시하여 좀 더 경제적이고 효과적인 설계를 가능하게 해줄 것이다.

  • 유지보수 내용에 대한 사용자의 의견 수렴에 대한 요구사항 정의나 각 단계별 산출물 등에 대한 표준지표 등이 존재하지 않아 각각의 사업이나 시스템 별로 유지보수를 수행할 때마다 경험만을 기반으로 한 정성적인 작업이 이루어지게 되어, 유지보수 작업과 비용이 초과로 투입되는 등의 문제점들이 발생하였다. 이런 문제를 해결하고 유지보수성을 향상시키기 위해 유지보수에 대한 서비스 수준의 정확한 문제점 파악과 발생 문제점들에 대한 분석이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 표준 유지보수절차에 대해 연구하고 SLA를 적용한 유지보수 프로세스인 서비스 지향 유지보수 프로세스를 제시하고자 한다.
