로봇기술을 응용한 원자력발전소에서의 극한 작업 무인 자동화

  • 원자력발전소의 안전성 향상을 위해서는 새로 개발되는 각종 신기술들이 적극 활용되어야 하며, 이러한 노력의 일환으로 현재 로봇기술을 원자력분야에 접합시키려는 노력이 고조되고 있다. 한국원자력연구소에서는 작업자의 접근이 제한된 고방사선 구역에서의 효율적인 감시점검을 위한 원자력시설 감시점검용 이동형 로봇을 개발하였다. 환경감시 및 감시대상물의 이상상태의 점검 및 판단에 활용하기 위하여 열영상 감시장치, 방사선 준위 분포 관측장치 및 물체인식/추적장치가 탑재되도록 하였으며, 로봇의 주행 및 감시 점검 작업의 원활한 제어를 위하여 입체 영상장치, 가상현실 원격조작장치를 개발하였다. 이동형 로봇에 탑재되어 사용되는 센싱장치들은 로봇에의 탑재 및 분리 사용이 가능하도록 독립 시스템 형태로 설계되어 있기 때문에 이동 장치 없이도 단독적으로 사용이 가능하다. 또한 개발된 이동형 로봇은 원자력시설의 감시점검 뿐만 아니라 실제 사고 발생시의 비상사태에 대응하여 사태진압 및 사후처리 작업에 활용이 가능하며 아울러 비원자력 분야의 극한환경에서의 응용이 가능하다.

  • The vibration generated on shipboard is very important because it greatly affects on the comfortable mind of passenger and working conditions of crews. Shipboard vibration is closely concerned with the development of propulsion method and the type of main engine to decide speed of ship. To make the propulsion power, the main engine of ship have continuous explosion process in engine room, so the shipboard vibration is generated. The shipboard vibration causes the physiological and psychological damages to human body. In the case of the human body exposed to the shipboard vibration, the evaluation of human exposure to whole-body vibration is prescribed in ISO 6954 : 2000(E). In this paper, to evaluate the shipboard working environment, two kinds of vibration levels onboard ship were measured and compared with one another between engine rooms, engine control rooms and wheel house by the regulation of ISO 6954 : 2000(E).

Dose-Rates Evaluation on a Reinforced Hot Cell facility (핫셀시설의 방사선 안전성 평가)

  • The hot cell facility which is designed to permit safe handling of source materials with radioactivity levels up to 1,385 TBq, is planned to be built. To meet this goal, the facility is designed to keep gamma and neutron radiation lower than the recommended dose-rate in normally occupied areas. The calculations performed with QAD-CGGP and MCNP-4C are used to evaluate the proposed engineering design concepts that would provide acceptable dose-rates during a normal operation in hot cell facility. The maximum effective gamma dose-rates on the surfaces of the facility at operation area and at service area calculated by QAD-CGGP are estimated to be $2.10{\times}10^{-3}$, $2.97{\times}10^{-2}$ and $1.01{\times}10^{-1}$ mSv/h, respectively. And those calculated by MCNP-4C are $1.60{\times}10^{-3}$, $2.99{\times}10^{-3}$ and $7.88{\times}10^{-2}$ mSv/h, respectively The dose-rates contributed by neutrons are one order of magnitude less than that of gamma sources, and penetration and toboggan will be partly reinforced by lead shield.

  • Effective construction safety management systems are desperately required for reducing damage caused by increasing safety accidents in construction sites. Safety accidents in construction sites can effectively protect if proactive measures are taken to prevent unauthorized worker access the expected hazardous area. In this study, we have developed a IoT(Internet of Things)-based dangerous zone alarming system for safety management in construction sites, which can be operated at low cost in large-scale sites as well as small and medium-sized construction sites. The development system utilizes a Zigbee-based beacon technology and cellular mobile communication technology to detect when authorized workers, unauthorized field workers or outsiders approaches hazardous zones. If somebody approaches the dangerous zones the system notifies immediately to the safety manager with a danger warning signal. It is expected that this system can effectively prevent safety accidents when applied to construction sites.

  • There is high probability of children's traffic accidents. Because their physical, mental attribute are weak. Major part of the accidents happen during walking. Above all, jaywalking is the biggest traffic accident reason. Many traffic accidents take place on the road to school or near the home area. So Ministry of Public Administration and Security legislated children safeguard zone since 1995. But a study are inadequate the safety facilities on the effectiveness verification in the school zone. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of safety facilities. The vehicle speed is a direct correlation traffic accident. So in this study, the MOE(Measure of Effectiveness) is average travel speed in the school zone. The results shows that hump, rised pedestrian crossing has an effect.

  • This study defined engineering mechanism and compensation method to establish reference pressure of smoke control zone with atmospheric pressure that is compensated for temperature. The reliable pressure differential sensor was developed by establishing the specifications, algorithms and constructing engineering data. The development of pressure differential sensor can cut down number of processes, manufacturing and installation cost by removing pressure measurement pipe established separately for non smoke control zone, and improve the accuracy of pressure differential by embedding pressure measurement ports for non smoke control zone. More correct and reliable pressure differentials can be obtained by the central control rather than the existent individual control. This will provide the basics and the flexibility to the integral smoke control system and accordingly improve the performance of disaster prevention.

  • In order to produce a consistent set of coordinates of the Korea Precise Primary Geodetic Network (PPGN) based on Suwon Datum, PPGN survey with the use of EDM had carried out between 1975 and 1993. In this study, data arrangement and rigorous adjustment was carried out to assess the net strength and local weakness and to evaluate the accuracy of PPGN. ss, specification for PPGN survey would be systematically studied and revised to new technology and field conditions. And basic data for redefinition of official coordinates. of 1st and 2nd triangulation points is obtained.

선박진동 허용기준

  • 고품질 선박 평가의 중요한 척도인 진동허용 기준에 대한 관심이 점차 높아지고 있다. 진동 허 용기준은 선박 계약시 건조사양에 포함될 뿐 아니라 건조후 시운전 결과 평가시나 인도후 아프터 서비스 과정에서도 선주와 건조자간에 자주 거론되는 항목이다. 평가 관점으로서는 .승무원의 거주성 및 작업성 .구조 부재의 피로파괴 발생 가능성 .기계기기 기구들의 성능 보존성 등이 있으며 IOS(국제표준화기구)나 여러 선급 기준들이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 보다 쾌적한 거주구나 작업 구역을 원하는 탑승자들의 욕구가 커짐에 따라 최근 저 진동선을 요구하는 선주 들의 허용기준에 대한 관심 또한 늘어나고 있다. 이에 따라 IOS는 선박진동의 종합평가 기준인 IOS 6954 개정 작업을 진행중에 있으며 일부 선급에서도 자체적으로 보완한 기준들을 제시하고 있다. 반면에 조선소들의 입장에서 보면 그간 진동 예측 방법과 방진설계 기술이 발전된 덕분에 심각한 진동문제는 많이 줄어들었다 하겠으나 90년대 아후 선박의 고속화에 따른 기진력 증가로 인하여 저 진동 선박 건조가 쉽지만은 않은 것이 최근의 상황이다. 따라서 본 고에서는 현재 사용되는 각종 선박진동 허용 기준들을 다시 정리하고 그중 강화될 전망이 있는 거주구 진동 허용기준에 대한 변화 추세를 살펴보고자 한다.
