The Effects of Mobile phone Dependence and Fandom Activities on the Satisfaction of life of Adolescents : Mediating Effect of Self-Resilience

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 주는 요인을 살펴보고자 한국 아동 청소년 패널조사(KCYS)의 중1 패널데이터를 대상으로 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 청소년들의 삶의 만족도를 높이기 위한 올바른 휴대폰 사용과 팬덤활동에 관한 실천적 정책적 방안을 제언하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 분석방법으로 AMOS 23.0을 활용하였으며, 연구결과, 첫째, 청소년의 삶의 만족도가 높을수록 휴대폰 의존도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 휴대폰 의존도는 자아탄력성에 의해 삶의 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 청소년들의 삶의 만족도를 향상시키기 위해서는 사회정서발달 및 급변하는 문화 활동에 맞는 맞춤형 프로그램이 개발 보급되어야 할 것 임을 시사하고 있다.

  • This study aimed to examine the direct effects of relationships with parents, peers, and community child center teachers on the school adjustment of low-income adolescents attending community child centers and the indirect effects mediated through adolescents' resilience. The second-term panel data from the fourth-year Community Child Center Survey was used to analyze 198 adolescents (103 boys, 95 girls) who were first graders at middle schools. SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 were used to analyze the data through structural equation modeling. The results of the study were as follows: Parental monitoring and peer trust had direct effects on the adolescents' school adjustment, while satisfaction with community child center teachers did not. Parental monitoring, peer trust, and satisfaction with community child center teachers had indirect effects on adolescents' school adjustment mediated through resilience. The school adjustment of low-income adolescents has received attention from both researchers and politicians. The results of this study are notable in that both the important relationships and resilience of low-income adolescents can significantly contribute to their school adjustment in their first year at middle school. Given the developmental needs of low-income adolescents, interventions for school adjustment that consider adolescents' important social contexts and psychological characteristics should be developed.

소방공무원의 외상 후 스트레스 장애 관련변인에 관한 체계적 문헌고찰 (A Systematic Review of the Variables Related to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in Firefighters)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 소방공무원의 PTSD 관련변인들을 체계적 문헌고찰을 통해 알아보고자 하였다. 한국교육학술정보원, 국회전자도서관, 국가과학기술정보센터, 한국의학논문데이터베이스를 통해 문헌을 검색하였고 검색 용어는 PTSD, 외상 후 스트레스, 외상 후 스트레스 장애, 소방공무원이었다. 총 146편의 문헌이 검색되었고 그 중 10편의 문헌이 본 연구의 주제와 부합하여 분석되었다. 분석된 10편의 문헌은 모두 상관관계를 연구한 비 실험 연구였다. 정적상관 요인은 연령, 근무기간, 외상사건 경험, 출동횟수, 경험한 외상사건 종류의 수와 강도, 업무 부담감, 대처방식, D유형 성격, 정서조절 곤란, 우울, 분노반추, 부적상관 요인은 회복탄력성, 사회적지지, 자아존중감으로 나타났다. 향후 소방공무원의 정신건강 증진을 위해 PTSD의 보호 변인인 회복탄력성과 사회적지지, 자아존중감을 향상시키는 전문적인 중재 프로그램 구성이 이루어져야 한다.

결손가족 중학생과 일반가정 중학생의 긍정심리자본과 학교생활적응의 비교 (The Relation of Resilience, Positive Psychological Capital and School Adaptation of Middle School Students of Broken Family)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 결손가정 중학생과 일반가정 중학생의 긍정심리자본과 학교생활적응의 차이를 검증해보고, 일반가정과 결손가정 중학생의 긍정심리자본이 학교생활에 주는 영향을 비교 및 검증해보고자 하였다. 본 연구결과 첫째, 결손가정 중학생이 일반가정 중학생에 비해 자기효능감, 희망, 탄력성과 낙관성 등의 긍정심리자본이 낮게 나타났다 둘째, 결손가족 중학생이 일반가정 중학생에 비해 학교생활적응 수준도 전반적으로 낮게 나타났다. 셋째, 일반가정과 결손가정 중학생 모두 긍정심리자본과 학교생활적응 수준 간에 높은 정적 상관이 있었다. 넷째, 일반가정 중학생의 경우 긍정심리자본 중 자기효능감, 희망, 낙관성이 학교생활적응에 긍정적 영향을 주었으나, 결손가족 중학생의 경우 긍정심리자본 중 희망만이 학교생활적응에 긍정적 영향을 주었다. 결손가정 중학생의 학교생활 적응과 자기효능감, 희망, 탄력성과 낙관성 등의 긍정심리자본이 모두 긍정적 상관에 있지만, 여러 긍정심리자본 중 희망만이 학교생활 적응에 긍정적 영향을 주며, 이 양상은 일반가정 중학생과 매우 다르다고 할 수 있다. 향후 결손가정 중학생의 학교생활 적응을 위한 상담에서는 여러 가지 상담적 개입이 중요하지만, 특히 삶에 대한 희망을 증진시키도록 노력하고 개발해야 한다는 매우 중요하다는 사실이 규명되었다. 본 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구방향이 논의되었다.

중학생의 체험활동과 자아탄력성, 공동체의식, 학교생활적응간의 관련성 (Relationship between experiential activity and ego-resilience, sense of community, and school life adjustment of middle school students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify relationships between experiential activity, ego-resilience, sense of community, and school life adjustment of middle school students and to provide the basic data that can contribute to the activation of experiential activities. Methods: 2,351 middle school students of panel survey conducted by National Youth Policy Institute were used in the final analysis. The structural equation model(SEM) was carried out to analyze structural relationships between experiential activity and ego-resilience, sense of community, and school life adjustment of the youth. IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0 and IBM SPSS AMOS 20.0. were used for the analysis of all data. Results: Experiential activities had a statistically significant positive effect on ego-resilience(p<0.001), school life adjustment(p<0.05), and the sense of community (p<0.001). Especially experiential activities acted on ego-resiliency, a sense of community, school life adjustment as an important parameter. Sense of community also showed to be an important mediating role between ego-resiliency and school life adjustment. Conclusions: In order to maximize the effectiveness of experiential activities, it is necessary to build the community networking enough to take full advantage of community resources and develop various experiential activities to meet the needs of youth and social change.

아동의 자아탄력성, 어머니의 양육태도, 가족건강성이 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Children's Resilience, Mothers' Parenting Style, and Family Strength on the Children's School Adjustment)

  • The purpose of this study was two folded. The first was to examine relationships among children's self-resilience, their mother's parenting style, family strength and the children's school adjustment and the second was to investigate the relative effects of the three variables on the children's school adjustment. To achieve the purposes, a total of 198 5th and 6th grade children and their mothers were surveyed on children's resilience scale, parenting style scale, family strength scale, and school adjustment scale. As a results, positive relationships among the four variables were observed. Also it was founded that children's self-resilience is the most effective, mothers' parenting style is the second, and family strength is the least factor on school adjustment. From the results the researchers suggested that early intervention is needed to enhance family strength as well as intervention to improve self-resilience in order to increase the children's school adjustment.

아동의 성별 휴대전화 의존도와 사용 목적별 사용 수준, 개인적 및 대인관계 발달간의 관계 분석 (An Analysis of the Relations among Cellular Phone Dependency, Its Use Levels of Usage Purposes, and Individual and Interpersonal Relations Development in Children by Gender)

  • The aim of this study was to identify the differences in cellular phone dependency and its use levels of usage purposes according to children's gender, and also to analyze the differences in individual and interpersonal relations development due to cellular phone dependency in children based on gender. Using the first year data of the Korean Child and Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) 2010, this study analyzed 1,604 fourth graders who have their own cellular phones. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics were calculated and mean difference analyses were conducted. The results showed that there was no difference between boys and girls in cellular phone dependency. The girls' total phone use level was higher than that of boys and meaningful gender differences in the phone use levels were found in the five phone usage purposes. In both boys and girls, the higher phone dependency groups demonstrated higher levels of phone use in more than eight usage purposes, lower self-resilience and self-regulating learning ability, and less positive peer and teacher relations. These findings show the importance of being concerned about and educating children in the fourth grade about the proper uses of cellular phones.

아동이 지각한 부모의 성취지향적 양육태도가 자아탄력성을 매개로 학교생활적응과 학업성취도에 미치는 영향 (The Mediating Effects of Ego-Resilience on Achievement-Oriented Parenting Style, School Adjustment and Academic Achievement as Perceived by Children)

  • This study examined the relationships among children's perspectives on achievement-oriented parenting style, ego-resilience, school adjustment, and academic achievement. In order to analyze the associations, the study conducted a secondary analysis of the data found in the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) 2010-2011, which was a non-randomized controlled study designed with a longitudinal follow-up. We analyzed 1,212 students who were in the fourth and fifth grade at elementary school with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results were as follows. First, higher achievement-oriented parenting style was associated with higher ego-resilience that contributed to higher academic achievement and higher school adjustment. Second, higher achievement-oriented parenting style was directly related to lower academic achievement and lower school adjustment. The findings support that children's ego-resilience is an important factor to improve school adjustment and academic achievement. In addition, the achievement-oriented parenting style is not helpful for their children's school outcomes (such as academic achievement and adjustment) even though parenting style improved their children's ego-resilience. Ego-resilience that is developed by achievement-oriented parenting style is likely to enhance children's school adjustment and academic achievement. The study presents policy and practice implications, limitations and areas for further research.

가족구조에 따른 아동의 자아탄력성 및 가족건강성이 학교생활만족도에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Children's Perception of Ego-resilience and Family Strength on School Life Satisfaction According to Their Family Structure)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships of ego-resilience, family strength, and school life satisfaction according to their family structure. 303 cases of them were selected from 912 elementary students' data in Busan and analyzed using the independent-samples t-test, Pearson's coefficient of correlation, and multiple regression. The results of the study were as follows: First, it was shown that children of parents family had positive perception on the ego-resilience, family strength, and satisfaction with school life than children of nontraditional family. Second, in children with parents family, family strength is a more powerful predictor of satisfaction with school life than ego-resilience. Finally, in children with nontraditional family, ego-resilience is a more powerful predictor of satisfaction with school life than family strength. The results implicated that ego-resilience and family strength of children influence on their school life satisfaction differently according to their family structure and therefore it needed for family structure-based mediation program to improve children' school life.

MMTIC에 의한 성격유형과 자아탄력성과의 관계 (Differences in Ego-Resiliency between Children's Personality Types)

  • The study was designed to lay the ground for effective guidance toward adaptive coping behavior by finding out differences in ego-resiliency in terms of personality types in the Murphy-Meisgeier Type Indicator for Children(MMTIC). For the study, personality types and ego-resiliency of 180 fifth- and sixth-grade students from 3 elementary schools located in Busan were measured. The instrument for personality types was MMTIC, which was developed by Meisgeier and Murphy in the US in 1990 and standardized in Korea in 1993 by Jungtaek Kim and Hyesook Shim. In order to measure Ego-Resiliency, Block & Kremen(1996)'s Ego-Resiliency scale translated and remodified by Sungkyung Yoo(2004) was used. The collected data were analyzed using ANOVA. The study found the followings: Firstly, according to the children's preference for personality types, participants' ego-resiliency scores appeared significantly higher in 'Extraversion', 'iNtuition', and 'Feeling' than in 'Introversion', 'Sensing', and 'Thinking' respectively. There was no significant difference in the score between in 'Judging' and 'Perceiving'. Secondly, according to function types of MMTIC, the participants' ego-resiliency score in 'iNtuition-Feeling' type showed the highest among scores in the other three types. The score in 'iNtuition-Feeling' type was significantly higher than 'Sensing-Thinking', 'Sensing-Feeling', and 'iNtuition-Thinking' type respectively.
