Separation of Subpatern and Recognition of Hanguel Patterns by Analysis of Feature of Contacting Phonemes (자소 접촉특성 분석에 의한 한글패턴의 부분분리 및 인식)

  • In this paper a new algorithm for separation of contacting subpattern and connective feature extraction of strokes is proposed. This algorithm is able to classification of the type of contacting parts, connective feature extreaction of strokes, separate the phoneme of contacting parts between strokes, classify the character types by feature classification of connecting parts and analysis of connecting attribute. Also, shape normalize into formal patterns and decide on the input pattern from position value of bending feature of this normalized shape and make an recognition experiment by neural network using BEP learining algorithm. This algorithm represents the good achievement ratio by separation of phoneme, classification of character type, connective feature extraction of stroke and recognition experiment.

  • While diversification of the use of video in the prevalence of cheap video equipment, augmented reality can print additional real-world images and video image. Although many recent advent augmented reality techniques, currently attempting to correct the character recognition is performed. In this paper characters marked with a visual marker recognition, and the color to match the marker color of the characters finds. And, it was shown on the screen by the character recognition. In this paper, by applying the phoneme pattern segmentation algorithm by the horizontal projection, we propose to segment the phoneme to match the six types of Hangul representation. Throughout the experiment sample of phoneme segmentation using augmented reality showed proceeding result at each step, and the experimental results was found to be that detection rate was above 90%.

Feature Classification of Hanguel Patterns by Distance Transformation method (거리변환법에 의한 한글패턴의 특징분류)

  • In this paper, a new algorithm for feature extraction and classification of recognizing Hanguel patterns is proposed. Inputed patterns classify into six basic formal patterns and divided into subregion of Hanguel phoneme and extract the crook feature from position information of the each subregion. Hanguel patterns are defined and are made of the indexed-sequence file using these crook features points. Hanguel patterns are recognized by retrievignt ehses two files such as feature indexed-sequence file and standard dictionary file. Thi paper show that the algorithm is very simple and easily construct the software system. Experimental result presents the output of feature extraction and grouping of input patterns. Proposed algorithm extract the crooked feature using distance transformation method within the rectangle of enclosure the characters. That uses the informationof relative position feature. It represents the 97% of recognition ratio.

  • 본 논문은 글자 문서를 배경으로 사용자의 손가락 이동에 의하여 일정한 영역을 그린 후, 영역내의 한글영상을 편집 가능한 에디터에 출력하는 시스템을 구현하였다. 영상의 전처리 단계에서는 문서 배경과 손영역을 분리하고 최대 원형 이동법을 이용하여 손의 무게 중심점을 추출한다. 원형 패턴 벡터 알고리즘을 사용하여 손을 인식한 후, 거리 스펙트럼으로 손가락 위치를 찾는다. 손가락의 움직임에 의해 선택되어진 문자 영역을 추출한 후, 한글 자소 간 히스토그램을 이용하여 추출된 문자 이미지 영역에서 문자단위로 분할하고 다양한 크기의 문자를 표준화한다. 퍼지 추론을 적용한 원형 패턴 벡터 알고리즘을 이용하여 표준 패턴문자와 입력문자의 특징벡터를 비교하여 문자를 인식하게 함으로써 사용자가 원하는 영역의 문자들을 수정 가능한 문서로 변환하였다

  • This paper presents a vertex-detecting of Hanguel patterns using nested contour shape. Inputed binary character patterns are transformed by distance transformation method and make a new file of transferred data by analysis of charactersitcs. A new vertex-detecting algorithm for recognizing Hanguel patterns using the two data files is proposed. This algorithm is able to reduce the projecting parts of Hanguel pattern, separate the connecting parts between different strokes, set the code number by transformed value of coorked features. It makes the output of results in order to apply the Hanguel recognition.

  • In this paper, we realized a system that converts the Korean alphabet (Hangul) images, which are in any domain that is formed by the finger movement on the Hangul document, to the editable characters and then outputs them to the word editor. The domain of hand is separated from the sphere of document in the pre-process step of image. The centroid point of hand is drawn by the maximum circular movement method. After the system recognizes the hand with the circular pattern vector algorithm, finds out the position of finger by the distance spectrum and then draws out the sphere of selected character image by the finger movement to divide the characters into character units by applying the histogram between the Hangul characters. We standardized the characters of various sizes. We used the circular pattern vector algorithm that grafts on the fuzzy inference to divert the character images of the domain, which user wants, to the editable characters by comparing the characteristic vectors between the standard pattern character and the inputted character and by recognizing the character.
