The purpose of this study was to perform research on the development of core course textbooks in the LIS field. The process of textbook development proposed in this study can also be a useful reference for developing the textbooks for other, non-core courses. The textbook development procedure used was as follows; 1) investigating and analyzing the main textbooks of LIS core courses domestically and abroad, 2) deriving optimal curriculum content from job analysis results, 3) gathering comment and feedback from professors teaching core courses, 4) proposing a final, three-tiered table of contents for an optimal textbook. The textbook table of contents proposed as a result of this research relates to the core subjects of: Introduction to Library and Information Science, Information Services, Library Management, Information Organization, Information Retrieval, and Library Fieldwork. We suggested chapter and section levels for all subjects, and list all of the details that should be dealt with in each section; instructors are then able to select from these options at their discretion.

As small libraries are now considered as public libraries, it is time to discuss a policy decision for institutional complement, supporting policy frame, and activating management of small libraries. There is a need to improve statistical indicators of small libraries, as an effort to improve library statistics as a whole. Small libraries in National Library Statistics have been using an altered version of 2008 library statistiscal frame, which was solely designed for public libraries. However, due to the inadequacy of indicators, results show 91.3% of missing values and high rates of errors in collected data. This research select the key statistical indicators for small libraries by analyzing 4 researches of present states and 7 researches of measuring indicators. The research, therefore, proposed an improved version of statistical indicators, by advising of the professional groups in the small library statistics and estimation and investigating of 108 small libraries in GyeongGi-Do Area. There are 7 categories and 37 items in the proposed statistics.

Once information security solution is implemented, it requires many services other than just general user management, such as malicious code analysis and security updated for consistent security against external threats or attacks, analysis of threat and attack, effectivity management of obtained security assurance, and advisory activities of security technical professionals. However, even if information security solutions provide those extra services, they are not properly treated in real market. Thus, for the security sustainable services, this study analyzes the service status of domestic information security, and suggest policy measure of price which could reflected the characteristics of information security solutions.

Based on the analysis of fire escape situations in public facility, this study was intended to propose a design of emergency light suitable for fire in public facility. A video analysis was conducted to understand the evacuation situation of public facility because the fire could not be randomized due to the disaster. Through video analysis, we were able to identify inconvenience and necessary needs in avoiding fire in public facility and reflected them in the design of emergency light, etc. As a result of the design of emergency light, the wall type induction lamp had different LED layout structures to minimize the thickness of the product. Ceiling induction lamps have been supplemented for additional installation in corridors of complex structures. The results of this study are designed based on the criteria used in the manufacture of actual emergency light and we intend to explore ways to be practical through further experiment measurements and complementary steps through expert advice.

The development of computer-based modeling system has allowed the operationalization of cognitive science issues. Human cognition has become one of most interesting research subjects in artificial intelligence to emulate human mentality and behavior. This paper introduces a methodology well-suited for designing the intelligent system of human cognition. The research investigates how to elicit and represent cognitive knowledge obtained from individual city-dwellers through the application of fuzzy relational theory to personal construct theory. Crucial to this research is to implement formally and process interpretatively the psychological cognition of urbanites who interact with their environment in order to offer useful advice on urban problem. What is needed is a techniques to analyze cognitive structures which are embodiments of this perceptive knowledge for human being.

본 논문은 미국 의학연구소(US Institute of Medicine, IOM)와 미국 농무성의 식이지침 자문위원회(USDA Advisory Committee on Dietary Guidelines, DG)에서 발표한 권위 있는 종설 들과 미국 영양사협회 학술지를 포함하여 여러 학술지에 발표된 의미 있는 종설 들의 내용을 종합한 것으로 일부의 내용은 그들의 의견을 그대로 반영하였다. 당은 단당류와 이당류를 말하며 당에는 포도당, 과당, 갈락토오즈, 맥아당, 서당과 유당이 포함된다. 당의 식품급원으로는 고과당 옥수수시럽, 사탕수수, 꿀, 사탕수수, 맥아시럽 등이 있다. 당은 미국 식약청에서 일반적으로 안전하다고 인식(generally recognized as safe, GRAS)되고 있다. 당은 에너지를 공급하며, 정신적인 만족감을 부여하는 기능을 가지고 있다. 대부분의 과일과 유제품은 당을 많이 함유하고 있으며, 건강한 식사를 구성하는 식품으로 섭취되고 있다. 당은 또한 조리와 가공과정에서 식품의 맛과 기능적인 면을 향상시키기 위해 첨가되기도 한다. 당은 영양밀도가 높은 식품/음료의 기호성(palatability)를 향상시키므로, 감미료들은 건강한 식사가 되도록 도와줄 수 있다. 그러나 첨가당의 섭취가 증가되면 식사의 영양밀도가 감소하는 가능성에 대한 우려가 있다. 여러 연구에 의하면 첨가당의 섭취가 총 열량 섭취의 25% 이상이 되면 식품의 영양밀도 감소가 나타날 수 있다고 보고하고 있다. 한국에서 추정된 당의 섭취량은 이것보다는 매우 낮은 수준이다. 선진국들에서 당의 섭취가 건강에 부정적인 영향을 줄 수 있다는 가능성에 대해서는 많은 논란이 되고 있다. 그러나 적절한 양을 섭취하는 범위에서 당의 섭취 자체만으로는 비만, 당뇨병, 대사증후군과 고콜레스테롤혈증의 위험이 증가되지 않는다는 과학적인 연구보고들이 있다. 그러므로 IOM은 "여러 자료에 근거하여, 충치, 행동적인 문제, 암, 비만의 위험성과 고지혈증의 위험성에 있어서 총 당과 첨가당에 대한 상한섭취량(tolerable upper limit)을 설정하는 것에 대한 증거가 불충분하다"고 결론을 내리고 있다.

This paper describes the research aimed at improving the evaluation method of practical exams in a field of welding on a national technical qualification examination based on national competency standards (NCS). In this study, new evaluation methods of practical exams on master craftsman welding reflect the latest welding technique trends and are applied to the ability unit and the fulfillment criteria of the national competency standards. The effects are then verified through an advisory conference and demonstration evaluation. The practical exams on the master craftsman welding in the current welding field were analyzed systematically. In the future, the national technical qualification examination of master crafts welding will be applied after completing the revision of the question standards through an expert group in its duty fields based on this research.

The goal of this study is threefold. First, this study explores the historical origin and architectural characteristics of cultural facilities in Japan. For this purpose, I examine various cultural facilities in Japan such as theaters, multi-purpose halls, convertible spaces and cultural centers. Second, this study also sheds a new light on the meaning of the relationships between cultural activity and architecture design in Japan. For this, I primarily look at the various categories of cultural buildings in Japan and their main functions. Finally, I demonstrate how both traditional and modem design elements are embodied in Japanese cultural facilities.

This study develops a set of measures for public library services to children. It is designed to use both measures for library service quality including personnel, library materials and resources. spaces for the service, and other services. and those for library customer satisfaction on equal basis. It specifies 23 scales for 4 each dimensions of measures for service quality, based on the suggestions both from the consulting members of specialists and from the personnel of the National Library for Children and Young Adults. and from the results obtained from the analysis on the questionnaires from the public librarians to children and researchers in this fields. This measures were testified by applying to 18 sample libraries.

양방향입찰시장(TWBP)의 도입을 위해서는 이를 위한 시장설계 및 효율적인 시장운영을 위한 다양한 분석 작업들이 요구되고 있다. 특히 시장설계의 경우, 해외 자문회사와의 협력을 통해 경쟁적 전력시장을 이미 도입하여 운영하고 있는 해외 국가들의 사례들을 포함한 많은 시장운영 기법들이 검토되고 있으며 향후 도입될 TWBP 전력시장에 적합한 방안들을 준비하고 있다. 전력을 전력시장운영규칙이 정하는 바에 따라 전력시장을 통해서만 거래하도록 규정하고 있는 우리나라의 경우, 전력시장운영규칙은 전력시장과 전력계통의 운영에 대한 모든 것을 다루게 되는 만큼 이에 대한 합리적인 설계와 적용은 효율적인 TWBP 전력시장의 기본 틀이라고 할 수 있다. 양방향입찰시장에서의 가격결정은 전력수급과 시장가격 안정화를 위해 매우 중요한 사안이다. 또한 현재 CBP시장과 다른 용량요금(CP)제도의 폐지와 기타 공급예비력확보 제도 등 도매시장설계에 있어 중요한 자료를 제공한다. 양방향입찰시장하에서 가격수준 분석을 통해 시장개설 이전에 문제점을 사전에 검토하여 문제점을 개선하고 시장규칙에 반영하여야 한다. 또한 용량요금 폐지에 따른 보완대책을 수립하여 수급불안정을 방지하고 전력시장 안정화와 성공적인 도매경쟁시장 개설을 위해 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 CBP 시장과 TWBP 시장에서의 기본적 가격예측을 위한 구조적 모델링과 일부 시나리오에 대한 결과를 소개하고자 한다.
