  • Automotive field specialist developed National Competency Standards for Automotive Maintenance to apply for the education and evaluation of automotive maintenance. National Competency Standards scope and system for Automotive Maintenance has been developed and provided Performance Criterion, knowledge, skill, attitude, and evaluation methods for each item. Also it has provided vocational basic knowledge level and qualification frame for automotive maintenance.

  • 범용자동차엔진용 합성윤활유는 현재의 자동차가 광유를 염두에 두고 설계하고 있어 생에너지나 롱드레인성에 있어서는 이점이 있어 광유와 경쟁이 가능하다. 합성윤활유의 첨가제로서 광유계의 첨가제를 그대로 사용하는 일이 많지만 용해성에 문제있고 도한 첨가제의 열안정성에 문제가 있는 경우가 있다. 따라서 합성윤활유에 알맞는 첨가제가 개발된다면 보다 고품질의 것이 기대될 수 있다.

  • This thesis is about design spirit demanded by the 21st century vehicle design studied in consideration of city commuter. First of all, going over the transition of the last century vehicle design led to the arrangement of the changes in vehicle models. Even though the invention of vehicles brought about immense improvement in living standard of the people, it also brought about other factors that were harmful for human living. Through this realization the main fact that should be emphasized is that the vehicles in 21s1 century should not be a threat to the human life or be the main cause for the environmental pollution of the earth. With the question as to whether the vehicles development direction at the beginning of the year 2000 like the Retro design and Hybrid-Compact car development is appropriate to these demands, the development of City Commuter vehicle (the most human and environment-friendly concept which can also serve as the connecting means in transportation system) and its case studies were compared. Through this, the design spirit that should be inherent in environment and vehicle human and vehicle relationships and the design factors needed for the continuous development of the vehicles were arranged.(classified) Rather than suggesting a new direction for the specific style for vehicle design, this thesis is to emphasize that to improve the standard living of the people with vehicle as a product that will be continually produced in the 21st century, the morals and the mission of the designers about the environment and humanity recovery should be the core of the active movement and education of vehicle design.

  • The Korea's automotive industry has been changed since 1990's for the global reform of the automotive industry even though the rapid growth of domestic market from the late 1980's to early 1990's The cultural understanding for an automobile in the Korea society has been relatively lacked by the political reason, which focused on the economic growth through the industrialization. This works as a limit which caused by the point of view which is concentrated into the automotive industry as an economy developing tool. As much as being observed in the advanced nations which have the long history and huge scale of the automotive industry, an automobile is not only a single product, but also a way of life which has a cultural background. It is possible to develop a competitive quality and design with an understanding the cultural background. And the most important thing to the Korean automotive industry is a uniqueness with the cultural character which is gained by the cultural understanding of automobile as in the public Therefore the contribution of infrastructure of Korean automotive industry and culture would become more important in the future.

  • Autonomous vehicles can be exposed to severe danger when failure occurs in any of its components. For this reason many countries are making efforts on the legislative issue how to objectively evaluate failure safety of an autonomous vehicle when such a vehicle is commercially available to a customer in the near future. In level-3 automation, a driver must take over the control of his vehicle when failure occurs, and the driver's controllability must be secured for escape from the imminent danger. In this paper, quantitative methods have been developed for evaluating failure safety of the level-3 autonomous vehicle, and they were validated by simulation. And also, we confirmed that the proposed evaluation method can quantitatively evaluate the failure safety.

  • Virtualization lacks capabilities for enabling the application to scale efficiently because of new applications components which are raised to be configured on demand. In this paper, we propose an architecture that affords mobile app based on nomadic smartphone using not only mobile cloud computing-cloudlet architecture but also a dedicated platform that relies on using virtual private mobile networks to provide reliable connectivity through LTE(Long Term Evolution) wireless communication. The design architecture lies with how the cloudlet host discovers service and sends out the cloudlet IP and port while locating the user mobile device. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture by implementing an android application responsible of real time analysis by using a vehicle to applications smartphone interface approach that considers the smartphone to act as a remote users which passes driver inputs and delivers outputs from external applications.

  • 본 연구에서는 국내에서 개발 중인 범용 수치해석 모델 에디슨을 활용하여 자동차 후미에 장착되는 리어 디퓨저에 대한 특성을 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 변수로는 자동차의 속도와 리어 디퓨저의 각도이며 자동차의 속도 및 리어 디퓨저의 각도 변화에 따른 자동차의 공력특성을 파악하고 이를 통해 리어 디퓨저 형상 설계 인자에 대한 자료를 확보하고자하였다. 그 결과 일정 각도 범위 내에서 최적의 자동차 공력특성이 보임을 확인하였다.

And it is save to built-in memory, after collect with GPS and Video Data. However, These data are the information used for accident analysis lacks credibility. In this paper, to solve this problem, android Black Box application has been developed. This application is collecting OBD protocol(information inside the car) and Existing data.
