  • These days automotive markets are launching models that include a variety of IT technologies. Tesla's Tesla model S and Google's unmanned automobiles are emerging one after another. This type of automobile with IT technology provides various convenience to the driver and the driver is getting benefit by various conveience services. on the contrary, it is also true that defects for errors in electronic components cause accidents that threaten the safety of drivers. There is a sudden unintended acceleration among these accidents. The cause of the accident is not clear yet, but the claim that the ECU device caused by the magnetic field causes accident of the car due is the most reliable. But, in Korea, when occur a car sudden unintended acceleration accident, the char maker often claims that an accident occurred due to driver's pedal malfunction. Also most drivers are responsible for the lack of grounds to refute. In this paper, the pedal operation image of the driver is acquired and the sensor is attached to the control part such as the excel and brake so as to discriminate whether the vehicle sudden unintended acceleration accident is the driver's pedal operation error or the fault of. i have implemented a system that can do this.

  • 최근 차량용 블랙박스는 단순히 차속 및 주행 거리를 기록하는 차량 운행 기록기의 기능을 넘어, 각종 센서 및 영상 처리, GPS 장치 등을 통하여 수집된 정보를 토대로 자동차 사고 분석이나 부품 결함을 발견할 수 있는 기능을 추가 하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 본 논문은 자동차로부터 얻을 수 있는 정보를 다각도로 분류해 보고 자동차 사고 중 가장 놓은 비율을 차지하고 있는 차대차 사고재현을 위한 필수적인 파라미터를 선정함으로써 제한된 프로세싱 자원 하에서 사고 재현 효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 영상 블랙박스 모델을 제안하고 수집된 파라미터의 분석 절차를 제시한다.

  • Along with the recent technological development, autonomous vehicles are being commercialized. but The accident of autonomous driving car is becoming an issue, and safety problem of autonomous driving car is becoming a hot topic. Also There are currently no specific guidelines for clear laws and security ethics. These guidelines require a lot of information and experience. This study establishes basic guidelines based on cases of accidents from past to present. This study suggests security considerations through case study of security ethics in autonomous car accident.

  • 자동차 블랙박스는 자동차의 사고 전/후의 주행상태를 저장하여 사고의 원인을 규명하는데 사용된다. 사고 발생 시의 자동차의 주행상태를 정확히 기록하기 위해서는 자동차의 위치와 속도에 대한 정보도 필요하므로 자동차 블랙박스에서는 위치/속도 정보를 제공하기 위한 항법 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 GPS 수신기와 MEMS 기반의 IMU를 사용하는 자동차 블랙박스용 항법 시스템을 설계하고 그에 대한 성능평가 결과를 제시하고자 한다.

Posttraumatic Stress Disorder of Patients Referred to Psychiatry after Motor Vehicle Accidents (자동차사고 후 정신과로 의뢰된 환자의 외상후 스트레스장애)

  • Objective : This study was designed to evaluate the incidence and characteristics of posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD) after motor vehicle accidents(MVA) in 44 consecutive MVA victims referred to psychiatry for the diagnosis, treatment and psychiatric assessment. Method : The diagnosis of posttraumatic stress disorder was made on the basis of DSM-IV criteria, and posttraumatic stress symptoms were assessed by the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale(CAPS). Correlation between the extent of physical injury and the severity of PTSD symptoms using the Abbreviated Injury Scale(AIS) was analyzed and the frequency of psychiatric comorbidity of PTSD was invested. Result : Twenty-two(45.5%) MVA victims met DSM-IV criteria for PTSD, while thirteen(29.5%) showed a subsyndromal form of it. AIS scores significantly related with the development of posttraumatic stress symptoms(r=0.565, p=0.0001). PTSD group showed high percentages of each of the 17 symptoms(criterion B, C, D), while subsyndromal PTSD group showed relatively high percentages of criterion Band D. The most frequent symptom was 'distressing dreams' of criterion B in both group. A high percentages(56%) of the MVA-PTSD group also met the criteria for current major depression. Conclusions : These findings suggest that there is apparently a high likelihood of developing all or part of the PTSD syndrome after motor vehicle accidents. So it does appear that for those MVA victims who seek medical attention and eventually need psychiatric referral, diagnostic possibility of PTSD should be taken into account in treatment planning and early intervention.

  • 본 연구는 자동차 급발진 사고에 관한 안전장치 개발에 그 목표를 두고 있다. 최근들어서 자동차 급발진 사고는 사회문제화되고 있고, 인명피해뿐만 아니라 자동차회사와 소비자간의 법적 피해 보상문제가지도 대두되고 있으며, 최근 자동차 설계구조의 문제가 있다는 법적 해석이 나오기도 했다. 본 연구는 자동변속기를 장착한 자동차의 급발진 방지용 변속레버 제어장치에 관한 것으로 구체적으로는 브레이크 페달을 밟고 있어야 변속레버조작이 이루어지도록 한 변속레버 제어수단을 솔레노이드 작동에 의한 스토퍼로 제어하되 스토퍼를 걸림 작동부로 간편하고 있도록 한 안전장치이다.

The Study of Reflecting Regional Characteristics in Car Insurance for Reduction of Traffic Accidents (교통사고감소를 위한 자동차보험의 지역요인 반영에 관한 연구)

  • This study dealt with regional characteristics in car insurance for reduction of traffic accidents. The objective was to establish scientifically the verification procedure in the application of regional auto insurance rate. To specify the objective, this study conducts the correlation analysis between factors which are various in each local traffic environment and the loss ratio in automobile insurance. Also, this provides a correlation and a modal in loss ratio, classifying human factors in locality in major cause result from traffic accident. Based on the results, this brings up the problems with applying a uniform criterion for automobile insurance rate although various factors have effect on traffic accidents in locality. Therefore, what stands out most from this study is that a policy on automobile insurance applied to regional factor should be introduced.

  • New Car Assessment Program(NCAP) provides consumers with vehicle safety information, primarily front and side crash rating results, and more recently rollover ratings, to aid consumers in their vehicle purchase decisions. NCAP is a system to improve driver and passenger safety by providing market incentives for vehicle manufacturers to voluntarily design their vehicles to better protect drivers and passengers in a crash and be less susceptible to rollover, rather than by regulatory directives. NCAP have been performed since 1999 in Korea by the government in order to reduce fatalities and injuries caused by traffic accidents. Although as the number of vehicles models increases, more vehicle models are required to be test and NCAP is evaluated as a valuable system for vehicle safety, the expansion of the system is slow. It looks like that the benefit of NCAP quantitatively was not verified. In this study, based on the idea that the benefit of the NCAP is defined as the decrease of traffic accident severity by improving vehicle safety, a methodology to analyze the effectiveness of NCAP quantitatively in terms of traffic safety was developed. According to the developed methodology, the reduced numbers of fatalities and injuries were 1.51 and 466 in 2005.

A Research on V2I-based Accident Prevention System for the Prevention of Unexpected Accident of Autonomous Vehicle (자율주행 차량의 돌발사고 방지를 위한 V2I 기반의 사고 방지체계 연구)

  • This research proposes the Accident Prevention System to prevent collision accident that can occur due to blind spots such as crossway or school zone using V2I communication. Vision sensor and LiDAR sensor located in the infrastructure of crossway somewhere like that recognize objects and warn vehicles at risk of accidents to prevent accidents in advance. Using deep learning-based YOLOv4 to recognize the object entering the intersection and using the Manhattan Distance value with LiDAR sensors to calculate the expected collision time and the weight of braking distance and secure safe distance. V2I communication used ROS (Robot Operating System) communication to prevent accidents in advance by conveying various information to the vehicle, including class, distance, and speed of entry objects, in addition to collision warning.

자동차 융합 정보통신 장치들의 보안 기술 현황 및 발전 방향

  • 사용자의 편리함과 유익함 뒤에는 높은 위험성이 공존한다. 특히 자동차의 경우에는 빠른 속도로 장소를 이동할 수 있다는 장점이 있지만, 사고 발생 시에 생명을 위협할 만큼의 위험을 가지고 있다. 자동차 사고 발생 후에는 시시비비를 가리기 위해서 많은 분쟁이 발생하는 것이 일반적인 판례였다. 자동차용 블랙박스는 자동차 사고 발생 시에 정확한 현장의 영상, 음성 및 기타 센서 정보를 기록한다. 이를 이용해서 전후좌우, 차량의 상태를 분석하여 사건 발생의 실마리를 찾을 수 있는 중요한 단서로 사용된다. 하지만, 아직은 블랙박스 영상만으로는 법적인 자료로 사용될 수는 없다. 즉, 법적인 자료로 채택되기 위한 기밀성과 무결성 측면에서 약점을 가지고 있다. 이에 따라서 기록된 정보를 암호화하고, 접근 자에 대한 기록을 남기는 기능이 연구 및 표준화 제정되고 있다. 차량 내외에서 수집된 정보에 암호화를 적용하여 이종 기기간 데이터 공유를 차단하고, 자동차 정보기기 보안 인증서를 가지고 있는 단체를 통하여 보안키를 이용하여 정보를 활용하기 위한 시스템이 구성되고 있다. 이를 통하여 자동차 융합 정보통신 장치들로부터 기록된 정보를 법적인 객관적 근거로 활용할 수 있도록 자동차용 정보통신 기기들이 기밀성과 무결성을 준수할 수 있도록 발전할 것이다.
