Calculational Method of the Poisson`s Coefficient by Use of Three Axis Magnetic Detect Elements (3축 자기검출소자를 이용한 포와숀 계수산출기법)

  • Recently, various navigational instruments are being composed into a total navigational system. This system requires accurate ship's heading in digital form. The authors have been studying about an electromagnetic compass with a three - axis magnetic sensor in order to provide an accurate ship's magnetic heading which the compass deviations can automatically compensated in the compass itself. In this pater describe on the theory how to derive the poisson's coefficients from ship's magnetism measured with three axis magnetic sensor and the results obtained by the simulation using deviascope, and that results practically coincident with the value observed by bearing on a distant object with magnetic compass.

  • In this paper, we have analyzed EMI characteristics for the most widely used LED light source for general light purposes. The magnetic field induced current of LED light source and noise terminal voltage for each electric power line has been measured and analyzed. we conclude it is used as a reference when the standards related to LED light source are proposed.

  • New estimation and tuning schemes of inductance variations for rotor flux oriented (RFO) control of induction motor in field weakening region are presented. Stator transient inductance and stator self inductance are estimated. From estimated stator self inductance. magnetizing inductance is estimated and from estimated stator transient inductance, rotor leakage inductance is estimated. Simulation and experimental results prove the effectiveness of the proposed s scheme in constant torque and field weakening region.

  • The performance of an inductive position sensor has approved by previous research papers. In this paper, magnetic circuit model of a ring-type multi-pole insuctive position sensor is described. The magnetic circuit model is required to design in ductive position sensor as well as draw a fault tolerance algorithm. Using the magnetic circuit theory, we derived the relationship between voltage applied and flux density in the normal air-gap. By idealizing the modulation/demodulation processes of signal processing circuit, sensor gain with respect to change of displacement is theoretically calculation using the magnetic circuit model, which validate the theoretical derivation.

  • The objective of this investigation is to develop an efficient method to generate and measure torsional waves in non-ferromagnetic waveguides by using magnetostrictive transducers. In existing methods using a nickel strip that is attached circumferentially to the test specimen, large current input to the magnetostrictive transducer often generates undesired wave modes in addition to the desired torsional wave. However, we propose a new method to generate the torsional waves without being accompanied with other undesirable wane modes regardless of the input current magnitude. The specific transducer configuration is suggested and its performance is also checked through a series of experiments.

  • 경두개자기자극술(Transcranial Magnetic Sitmulation:이하 TMS)은 두뇌 외부에 설치된 코일을 이용하여 짧은 시간에 강한 펄스 형태의 자기장을 인가하여 두뇌 내부에 유도전기장을 발생시켜 특정 부위의 신경조직을 자극하는 비침습적(noninvasive)인 기술이다. 두뇌 내부에 정확한 자극 분포와 자극 세기를 알기 위해 Zubal Data에 근거한 정밀한 두뇌형상모델을 이용하여 비균질성을 고려해 수치해석을 하였다. 수치해석 결과 복잡한 머리 내부에 유기되는 정확한 유도전기장 분포를 예측하였고 실험을 통해 수치해석의 유효성을 증명하였다.

  • This paper presents the calculation of unbalanced magnetic pull (UMP) that causes rotor misalignment in induction motor. The excessive noise and vibration will be occurred by means of rotor misalignment. Angular misalignment of rotor will produce air-gap permeance wave which is function of axial and circumferential coordinate. In this paper, the UMP is calculated using permeance and magneto motive force (MMF) in the case of static and dynamic misalignment. Based on the percentage of misalignment, the result shows that the UMP and magnetic pressure are increased according to the increasing of misalignment. The UMP is occurred not only in It frequency component but also the others.

  • This study is conducted to develop the high frequency inductor with ferro-yoke for the surface shape control. A 3- Dimensional simulation program based on the finite element method is developed for calculating electromagnetic field of the high frequency inductor. The validity of the program and the capability to control the liquid metal shape are confirmed by comparison between the results from calculation and those from measurement.

The Effects of Eddy Currents and Hysteresis on the Performance of Inductive Position Sensor for Magnetic Bearings (자기베어링용 유도형 위치 센서의 성능에 미치는 와전류와 히스테레시스의 영향)

  • The performance of an inductive position sensor is described by the accuracy and the dynamic characteristics of the sensor. Both of these performance indices are affected by magnetic hysteresis and eddy currents. In this paper, a model of an inductive sensor is presented. This model includes the effects of hysteresis and eddy currents. Computer simulation shows that the sensitivity of the sensor is greatly affected by hysteresis and eddy currents. Repeability error increases with hysteresis and eddy currents effects. Results also show that eddy currents influence more on the sensor performance than hysteresis does. To reduce the effects of hysteresis and eddy currents, the sensor should be made out of thin laminations with high resistivity.

자장센서의 지상기능시험 데이터 분석을 통한 건전성 진단

  • 자장센서는 인공위성에 장착되어 궤도환경에서의 지자기장을 측정하는 센서로서 위성체의 자세결정과 자세제어 등에 활용된다. 일반적으로 자장센서는 원리와 응용범위에 따라 그 종류가 광범위하다. 응용되는 자기현상적으로 분류하면 Faraday 전자기 유도법칙을 이용한 방식, Hall Effect를 이용한 방식, 감지코일의 인덕턴스 변화와 와전류효과를 이용한 방식, 자속분포의 변화에 의한 유도기전력의 변화를 이용한 방식, 자기저항 변화효과를 이용한 방식 등이 있다. 그 중에서도 Faraday's Law를 이용하는 Fluxgate 자장센서가 구조가 비교적 간단하고 경량이며, 높은 신뢰성과 안정성을 가진다. 실제 위성을 발사하기전 지상에서는 위성체를 조립하고 전자파, 진동, 열진공 등과 같은 다양한 환경시험을 수행하는데, 이때 각 환경시험 수행을 전후로 자장센서의 극성시험, 응답시험 등과 같은 기능시험을 수행한다. 본 논문은 다양한 환경시험을 통해 수행한 Fluxgate 자장센서 기능시험 데이터에 대한 추이를 분석하여 위성 발사전 지상에서의 자장센서의 상태와 건전성을 진단하는 방법에 대하여 소개한다.
