Magnetic and Electric Properties of Perovskite Manganite $La{1-x}Ba_xMnO_3(0\leqx\leq1)$ (페로브스카이트 망간산화물 $La{1-x}Ba_xMnO_3(0\leq \chi \leq1)$의 자기적, 전기적 특성)

  • We have investigated some crystallographic, magnetic, and transport properties of the first colossal magnetoresistive compounds $La_{1-x}Ba_{x}MnO_3(0\leq\chi\leq$1)$(5\;K\leqT\leq360K,-5T\leqH\leq5T$ and resistivity $(100K\leqT\leq350K$measurements. $La_{1-x}Ba_{x}MnO_3$ were found to be ferromagnetic for all x.The $La_{1-x}Ba_{x}MnO_3$were found to be insulating for x< 0.2, metallic for 0.20.5. The magnitude of saturation magnetization (Ms) increased until x=1/8 and had theoretical maximum Ms for 0.13$\sfrac{3}{8}$ and had a constant value of 335~340 K for x>$\sfrac{3}{8}$. For $x\geq0.5$ the $La_{1-x}Ba_{x}MnO_3$ samples showed a percolation-type conduction behavior and enhanced low field magnetoresistance caused by simultaneous occurrence of the chemical/magnetic phase separation.

Magnetic Guidance Vehicle using Up-and-down Rotating Type Differential Drive Unit (상하 회전형 차동 구동부를 이용한 자기 유도 무인운반차)

  • This paper presents the study about MGV(Magnetic guidance vehicle) with up-and-down rotating type differential drive unit. Previous MGV needs the landmarks to get the driving information and additional sensor to recognize the landmarks except for localization sensor. Previous MGV requires at least 2 drive units when common fixed differential drive unit is used because it occurs the problems with driving control and localization error from imbalance of the MGV's weight. To solve such problems, we propose the MGV using up-and-down rotating type differential drive unit. Proposed MGV recognizes the driving information from the pattern which is consisted of both pole of magnet without landmarks and additional sensors, and it control the backward movement using up-and-down rotating type differential drive unit instead of common drive units. Proposed MGV considers KF(Kalman filter) to improve the localization accuracy. To verify the performance of proposed method, we designed MGV for the experiment. As the results, we can confirm the performance of propoesed method to recognize the pattern and to control the backward movement. With respect to localization, proposed method has the less RMSE about 5.6904 mm than previous method.

  • 자기변형(magnetostriction)에 관한 연재물 2번째로 이번 호에서는 자기변형 현상을 보이는 각종 물질에 대해서 알아보기로 한다. 편의상 별도의 합금을 만드는 과정을 거치지 않아도 자연계에서 얻을 수 있는 비희토류계 물질과 특별한 공정을 통해서만 만들어낼 수 있는 희토류계 물질로 나누었다. 자기변형 현상에 대한 물리적인 이해는 3번째 연재물부터 진행할 것을 밝힌다.

A study on how to discriminate the polarities of stator windings for 3 phase induction motors by using induced voltages based on residual magnetism (잔류자기 유도 기전력을 이용한 3상유도전동기 권선의 극성 판별법에 관한 연구)

  • To discriminate polarities of stator windings for 3 phase induction motors terminal tags of which are not readable, it is possible to utilize the residual magnetic flux present at their rotors as well as to use the way based on external exciting current. The induced voltages are basically decided by parameters such as the quantity of residual flux, the rotator speed by hand force and the phase properties between stator windings. To adopt induced voltages by residual flux for polarity discrimination at sites, the measured voltages by multi-testers need to be readable in magnitude enough to discriminate winding condition with reasonable phase characteristics. This study focuses on the analysis of various connection cases in the expectation that the summing voltages induced by residual flux shall show zero in case of normal connections while the sum becomes greater indication if the connection is in wrong condition. The proposed method is applied to actual motors to disclose how effective it is for polarity discrimination at sites through comparison of output signals between normal and fault connections.

  • The Magnetic noise generated in three phase induction motor are investigated. Total noises measured by using JEM-1313 code and sound length method and the experimental formulae are derived of magnetic fk={K+$\frac{Z_s}{P}$(1-S)}f[Hz] noise is measured in the stator of induction motor except rotor supplied from power source and their datum are analyzed and compared with one another. The experimental value of magnetic noises are equal to the theoretical value at 1440[Hz] and 1560[Hz]. The biggest magnetic harmonic is generated at 1560[Hz].
