RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RELATIVISTIC ELECTRON EVENTS, MAGNETIC STORMS, AND MAGNETIC SUBSTORMS (상대론적 전자 이벤트와 자기 부폭풍 및 자기 부폭풍 사이의 상관관계)

  • This paper reports a statistical study on the relationship between relativistic electron events(REE), magnetic storms, and substorms. We have used magnetic storm events that occurred between 1996 and 1998, and have classified them into two groups, (i) magnetic storms with REE and (ii) magnetic storms without REE, according to whether or not the magnetic storm is accompanied by REE. Then we have examined the characteristics of substorms that occurred during the main phase of each of the magnetic storms, and compared them between the two groups of the storms. In particular, we have made some quantitative estimations on the intensities of the energetic particle injections and magnetic dipolarizations during the substorm. We find that the injection intensity ratio and the magnetic dipolaization of the storm-time substorms are bigger for substorms with REE than for those without REE.

지구의 비쌍극자 자장과 편각

  • 지표위의 어떤 지점에서의 지구자기의 수평분력 방향과 진북방향 사이의 각을 편각(Declination)이라고 정의한다. 쉽게 말하면 편각은 나침반의 자침이 가러 키는 방향과 진북방향과의 사이 각을 말한다. 대부분의 사람들은 나침반의 자침이 북자기극(North magnetic pole)을 가러킨다고 잘못알고 있다. 지구 다이나모설(Geodynamo theory)에 의하면 주로 철(약 90%)로 구성된 외핵 속에서 계속 생성 유지되고 있는 복잡한 (각각 나선형(helical)의 회전축에 대체로 평행하거나 평행하지 않은) 대류(Convection currents)에 수반하는 전류가 복잡한 지구자기장을 형성한다. 지표상에서 측정한 지구자기장의 자료를 Spherical harmonic analysis 으로 분석하면 한 개의 커다란 쌍극자(Dipole) (Inclined geocentric dipole 또는 주된 자기장(Main field) 이라고 부름), 적도쌍극자(Equatorial dipole), 4극자 (Quadrupoles), 8극자(Octupoles) 등의 여러 개의 크고 작은 쌍극자들의 총합이 지구자기장의 근원인 것처럼 해석되고 있다. 어떤 지점에서의 지구자기장의 방향은 외핵에서 생성된 천체 자기장에서 Main field를 제거한 나머지 자기장과, 상부 맨틀(upper mantle), 지각 및 지표상에 존재하는 인공 물체 또는 암석 및 광석 등의 잔류자기 및 유도자기 그리고 지형 등의 영향으로 결정된다. 어떤 지점에서의 지구자기장의 방향은 태양풍(Solar wind)과 전리층 사이의 상호작용 등의 외부자장(external field)의 영향도 받는다. 비쌍극자 자장(Non-dipole field)은 지표상에서 측정되는 총자기장에서 외핵에서 생성된 주된 자기장(Main field) 즉, 지구의 회전축에서 약 11.5도 기울어진 쌍극자 자장을 제거하고 남는 자기장을 말한다. 따라서 편각은 비쌍극자자장의 영향을 가장 많이 받는다. 비쌍극자 자장은 정지한 상태의 자장(standing field) 과 매년 서쪽으로 약 0.2도 움직이는 Westward drift하는 자장으로 크게 두 가지로 구분된다. 쌍극자 자장의 방향은 매우 느리게 변하지만 그 세기는 현재 비교적으로 빠르게 약해지고 있다. 비교적으로 매우 빠르게 변하는 비쌍극자 자장의 변화를 영년변화(Secular variation) 이라고 한다.

Magnetic Signals Analysis for Vehicle Detection Sensor and Magnetic Field Shape (자기신호분석을 통한 차량의 감지센서와 자기형상에 관한 연구)

  • This paper is about utilizing magnetic sensor to measure magnetic signal and analyze the form of magnetic signal for vehicle detection. For magnetic sensor, MR sensor from Honeywell company was used, and Helmholtz coil of which 3 axis' length is 1.2 m was manufactured to check the capability of the sensor and estimate its ability to detect the magnetic field. Vehicle detection was performed in following steps: installing sensor in road lane and non-road lane; estimating magnetic field when the vehicle is run by the driver; and estimating magnetic field of 7 different vehicles with different sizes. Also, sensor was installed at SUV and small-sized vehicle's park and non-park area to analyze the form of magnetic field. Lastly, the form of magnetic field made by different parts of the vehicle was analyzed. Based on the analysis, the form of magnetic field's magnetic peak value was bigger for road lane than non-road lane, complicated form was useful to distinguish the road lane above the installed sensor and the location of the running car, and the types of vehicle could be sorted because the variance of the magnetic field was bigger for bigger size of the vehicle. Also, it was confirmed that the forms of vehicle in parts-by-parts estimates.

The relationship analysis among subject specific interests, self-regulated learning, learning flow and self-efficacy: focused on middle school English education (교과흥미 자기조절학습 학습몰입 자기효능감 간의 상호관계분석: 중학교 영어교육을 중심으로)

  • In the foreign language learning theory, self-regulated learning, subject interest, learning flow, and self-efficacy have been studied as major constructs. With the help of researches regarding these constructs, a research model was set up and the contents were analyzed through SEM analysis in order to grasp the influence of these constructs on each other. Through data collected from middle school students in Gyeongnam, the analysis result shows as follows. First, the subject interest has a positive influence on learning flow. Second, the subject interest has a positive influence on self-efficacy as well as self regulated learning. Third, learning flow has a positive effect on self-efficacy. Fourth, self regulated learning has a positive influence on self-efficacy. Fifth, self-regulated learning has a positive influence on learning flow. As is shown in the analysis, in case of English education, subject specific interest brings forth learning flow and enhances self-efficacy as well as self-regulated learning thus, leading to academic achievements.

  • Instagram, a photo and image centered social networking service, has received increasing attention these days, from scholars and practitioners. However, little is known about the social and psychological factors that lead consumers to use this service. To provide a baseline understanding on Instagram users, the current study was conducted to discover perfectionistic self-presentation tendency expressed by the Instagram users and explore the relationships between identified perfectionistic self-presentation and intention to use Instagram variables with 250 participants. In addition, this study tried to determine the moderator effect of self-efficacy and self-construal. A comprehensive survey was directed and a total of 380 participants were recruited to verify anticipated hypotheses and research questions. The research results suggest that perfectionistic self-presentation has five sub factors: others conscious self-presentation, subjective self-presentation, environmental adaptation self-presentation, self-expansion self-presentation, and social self-presentation. The implications of this research findings are discussed.

The Mediating Effect of Self-Determined Motivations on Relation between Class Climate Perceived by Middle School Students and Self-Regulated Learning Ability (중학생이 지각한 학급풍토와 자기조절학습능력과의 관계에서 자기결정성동기의 매개효과)

  • This study aimed to examine the mediating roles of self-determined motivations on the effect of class climate perceived by middle school students on self-regulated learning ablility. For this purpose, a total of 589 students were selected as subjects in this research. Structural equation modeling was conducted so as to verify the relationship among all the variables. As a results, first, the perceived autonomous class climate had a direct effect on self-regulated learning ability and an indirect effect on self-regulated learning ability through the mediation effect of identified regulation. Second, the perceived controlled class climate had a direct effect on self-regulated learning ability and an indirect effect on self-regulated learning ability through the mediation effect of identified regulation, introjected regulation, and external regulation. This study implies that facilitating autonomous engagement in learning activities will be a effective educational intervention to improve self-regulated learning ability.

청소년 창직교육을 통한 창업의지 변화에 대한 연구: 자기주도 학습력과 창의성역량의 매개효과 확인

  • 4차 산업혁명으로 기존 일자리가 사라지고 있으며, 보다 창의적인 진로전략이 요구되고 있다. 기존의 진로전략이 구직(求職), 즉 '직업을 찾는다.'는 개념이었다면, 4차 산업혁명 시대의 중요한 진로전략인 창직은 구직의 틀에서 벗어나 개인이 직업을 적극적으로 발굴하고 일자리를 창출하는데 초점을 두고 있다. 즉, 개인이 직업을 '발굴하고', '선택한다.'는 점이 중요하며, 구직이 '남이 나를 고용한다.'는데 의미가 있다면, 창직은 '내가 나를 고용한다.'는 점에서 구직자의 주체적이고 적극적인 의지를 더욱 필요로 하고 있다. 창직교육을 통해 청소년이 자신의 진로를 직접 발굴하고 선택할 수 있는 진로결정 자기효능감의 향상이 자기고용을 이루기 위한 주체적이고 적극적인 의지를 반영하는 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 본 연구를 진행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 창직교육 프로그램을 처치한 실험집단은 총 293명으로 검증 시 진로결정 자기효능감, 대인관계기술, 자기주도 학습력, 기업가정신, 기회발견, 기회활용, 사회적 문제해결력, 창의성역량, 창업의지 전 항목에서 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 평균값의 상승을 보였다. 창직교육 프로그램을 처치하지 않은 통제집단은 총 85명으로 사전/사후의 평균값이 미미한 수준의 차이를 보였다. 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 자기주도 학습력과 창의성역량이 매우 두드러지게 향상되었고, 진로결정 자기효능감과 창업의지가 두드러지게 향상되었다. 반면, 통제집단은 실험집단과 비교하여 자기주도 학습력과 창의성역량이 미약하게 향상되었고, 진로결정 자기효능감도 미약하게 향상되었으나 오히려 창업의지는 감소하였다. 본 연구로 창직교육을 통한 자기주도 학습력과 창의성역량의 향상이 진로결정 자기효능감과 창업의지에 매개변수가 되어, 진로결정 자기효능감과 창업의지를 향상시켰음을 알 수 있다.

Influence of Critical Thinking Disposition and Academic Self-Efficacy on Self-Directed Learning Ability of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향과 학업적 자기효능감이 자기주도적 학습능력에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to check critical thinking disposition, academic self-efficacy, and self-directed learning ability, and to understand the effect on self-directed learning ability for nursing students. Data were collected from 268 nursing students in the 3rd and 4th grades of two universities. As a result of the study, it was found that there was a significant positive correlation between critical thinking disposition, academic self-efficacy, and self-directed learning ability of nursing students. The factors affecting the self-directed learning ability of nursing students were critical thinking disposition, academic self-efficacy, major satisfaction, and personality disposition, which accounted for 68% of self-directed learning ability. Therefore, in order to improve self-directed learning ability, it will be improved if the critical thinking disposition can be improved through the curriculum, and academic self-efficacy and major satisfaction are increased by applying various teaching and learning methods and programs.

  • The purpose of this study was to derive ethical life skills in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic from the 'care of self' that Foucault highlighted in . Care of self extends to the relationship one has with oneself and one with others. care of self is a practical ethic that realigns relationships with others and changes society through self-transformation. This study tried to derive specific practices for a life of care of self that individuals can realize against another rule of neoliberalism. Its specific practice style is keeping one's distance from dominant thoughts, forming oneself through practice and writing of subjective thinking, practicing knowing in everyday life, and practicing 'looking down'. These modes of self-care include the other and the world into consciousness in self-examination and transformation. Therefore, through care of self, individuals in the pandemic era can be reborn as members of society who change their lives while building a self-centered life that is faithful to themselves.

Relationship between Self-management, Stress Coping and Physical Self-concept of Healthy Exercise Participants (건강운동참여자의 자기관리, 스트레스 대처 및 신체적 자기개념의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-management, stress coping, and physical self-concept of health exercise participants. To this end, a total of 274 questionnaire results were obtained by visiting 12 fitness center in the metropolitan area that is running a health exercise program. This was analyzed through the SPSS program, and the following results were obtained. It showed a significant explanatory power in the relationship between self-management and stress coping of health exercise participants. In addition, it also showed significant explanatory power in the relationship between self-management and physical self-concept. Finally, it showed significant explanatory power in the relationship between stress coping and physical self-concept. Through this study, it was found that there was a significant causal relationship between self-management, stress coping, and physical self-concept of healthy exercise participants. In follow-up studies, an in-depth analysis of self-management is required through the causal relationship with environmental factors related to self-management.
