A study on the Possibility of Utilizing and Management Course Assessment type of National Technical Qualification at Industrial Secondary Vocational High Schools (공업계열 직업계고에서의 과정평가형 자격 도입 가능성 및 운영 방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this research was to draw implications for preparing utilizing and management course assessment type of national technical qualification based on the awareness of teachers in industrial secondary vocational high schools. To achieve it, this researcher analyzed the awareness about management course assessment type of national technical qualification of teachers at industrial secondary vocational high schools and analyze possibility to introduce course assessment qualification, degree of agreement for expected effects, and importance and necessity for the matters to be considered when introducing management course assessment qualification. Concrete results of this research are as follows. First, the degree of understanding management course assessment type of national technical qualification at industrial secondary vocational high schools was common, but the degree of agreement for introducing goal, purpose, and necessities was low. Second, for the expected effects to be obtained when acquiring course assessment qualifications, there were acquisition of qualification at the same time of education, suggestion of studying goal from an angle of concrete and significant performance, systematic education based on NCS, possibility to develop and form training career, and possibility to acquire industrial field-centered knowledge and technology in order. Third, to draw priority of each item to be considered when introducing course assessment type of national technical qualification at industrial secondary vocational high schools, the importance and necessities were analyzed. As a result, for the sectors whose requirements are more than average, there were flexibility of course assessment type qualification classes, preparation of proper measure by NCS revision, relief of edited classes of necessity ability unit, etc.

  • 국가기술자격법 및 동시행령공포에 따른 문제점을 공학교육과 관련하여 고찰하였다. 공포된 이상 법 시행과정에서 본고에 제시한 여러 문제점이 수정, 보완, 해결되므로서 우리나라의 기술 수준 향상과 공학교육발전에 기여하게 되기를 마라마지 않는다. 끝으로 한마디 덧붙일 것은 국가기술 자격시험 합격자에 대한 획기적인 처우개선이 이루어져야 하겠다는 것이다. 법10조에 따라 (기술자격취득자의 경제적 사회적 지위의 적정한 유지와 그 취업 및 신분보장에 관하여 필요한 시책을 강구하여야) 할 정부와 지방자치단체는 하루 빨리 구체적인 시책을 제시하여 다른 분야에 비하여 훨씬 고되고 항상 노력하며 공부하는 기술인들이 그에 상당한 처우를 받도록 만전의 조치를 취하고 우수한 젊은 학도들이 보람을 찾고 긍지를 갖을 수 있는 기술자격이 되므로서 이 법이 목적으로 한 기술인력의 자질 및 사회적 지위향상이 공염불이 되지 않기를 바라는 마음 간절하다.

A Study on the Effects of National Technical Qualification System Innovation on Companies' Decision on Employment: Focused on Course-base Qualification (국가기술자격제도의 혁신이 기업의 고용결정에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 과정평가형 자격을 중심으로)

  • The existing test-based qualification system does not sufficiently reflect the demand for skills in industries and there exist concerns regarding its efficacy. In response, an innovative national technical qualification system, which uses a course-based qualification system, has been introduced to supplement the test-type qualification system. This study investigates the impact of the national technical qualification system on companies' decisions concerning employment by analyzing survey data from companies that employed persons who obtained course-based qualifications. Analysis results found the degree of company demand for skills had a positive impact on overall employment decisions. Especially, it was highly likely for those companies that experienced loss due to the lack of technology in the past to decide continued employment and expansion of employment. This suggests that it is necessary to design the national technical qualification system in response to the demand for technological skills of each industry in the future.

  • This study aims to find ways to qualify lifelong education professionals for the disabled based on the convergence curriculum between the "department of vocational special education in university-educated graduate school" and "major department". The research method was composed of a combination of literature analysis and expert meetings. The research contents include the qualifications for the training course for the lifelong education professionals for the disabilities established in the convergence curriculum after accumulating the teaching experience in the majors that can be restructured as lifelong education institutions for the disabled. In addition, the focus of the curriculum of the "department of vocational special education in university-educated graduate school" should be improved in order to foster and integrate lifelong education professionals for the disabled. The results of the study concluded that the functional relationship between vocational special education and lifelong education for the disabled was established.

  • Field blasting engineers who took a degree from university, and passed the national qualifying examination of blaster, and took a prescribed course by national commend, and got a license of blasting from the national police agency are the foundation of a society of explosive&blasting of south Korea. By their view, we want to find problems of the domestic fiend blasting, and to think about solutions. I hope they become the world's best blasting engineer.

A Study on Correlations of Job Competence and Job Fitness with Functions of National Technical Qualification in Mechanical Field (기계분야 국가기술자격 기능에 따른 직무능력 직무적합성과의 관계에 관한 연구)

  • To determine the influence of qualification on field and currency, the model is presented that there is the connection between job competence and job fit about the function of qualification. To find out this connection, the study is being done and based on this, a clue of qualification on field and currency is tried to figure out. First, in case of national technical qualification holders in Machinery field, the type of the function of qualification(signal, guide, screen functions) of job competence and job fit shows correlation between them. Second, the job competence and job fit of the owner of national technical qualification in Machinery field is mostly affected by signal function. Thirdly, the mediating effect of job competence on the effect of the function of qualification on job-fit is showed by the types of function of qualification. Guide function does not have any mediation effect, but signal function and screen function have the mediation effect. Especially, out of all, signal function is the most affecting factor of mediating effect. Lastly, the model of the relationship between subordinate factors by types of function of qualification on job competence and job fitis presented.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of college graduates who obtain qualifications, and to check the economic and ineffectiveness of qualifications through the analysis of employment and job relevance according to their school area. For the main research, the "2016 Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey (GOMS)" data was used to perform basic statistics and logistic regression analysis using SPSS 25. This study reaffirmed the effectiveness of employment as stated in the preceding study, and in particular, the qualification of non-Seoul area colleges students had some positive effects on employment and job compatibility. In conclusion, the effectiveness of qualifications according to individual attributes and location of school may differ, but it suggests that proper qualification encouragement and acquisition support can help the employment and job convergence of college graduates.

  • The study reviewed the properness of a present job field with 26 items so that the classification system of the national technical qualification can meet the needs of the industrial structure and the technical changes of the 21st century. In addition, it aimed not only to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the management and operation of the national technical qualification system but to design a new classification system of the job field to stimulate qualification holders' employment. For the purpose of this study, materials and data relevant to the national technical qualification system were comprehensively collected and analyzed. Besides, a new job field with 13 job items was proposed in this study on a basis of the collective advice of experts on the properness of the job field in the national technical qualification system.

  • The study aims to design and suggest criteria of the academic credit approval for those who obtain diverse qualifications. In order to achieve the objectives of this research, a Delphi survey was conducted. Consequently this study suggests the following, based on the argument that existing credit approval system covering all qualifications requires improvement especially due to limited function and efficiency. First, most respondents who took part in the management of academic credit bank system in the Korea Educational Development Institute stated that the current system is of limitation. Out of the all items, one was indicated as one not directly related the majoring area for the degree, three items were indicated as approved in the bachelor degree and two items were as approved in the associate degree. Second, occupational area for approving qualification items should be classified according to the KRIVET classification structure for national qualification.
