통계학 입문을 배우는 과정에서 여러 종류의 자료와 분석방법을 접하게 된다. 현재 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 통계 소프트웨어 패키지 가운데 하나인 SAS를 사용해서 실제 입문과정에서 나오는 예제들과 그 예제에 대한 SAS 코드를 제시함으로써 이론과 병행되는 입문 과정의 교육에 도움을 주고자 하며 차후 고급 과정에서 복잡하고 많은 양의 자료를 분석할 때 보다 쉽게 SAS를 활용하는데 편리함을 제공하고자 한다. 먼저 입문과정에서 자료를 정리하는데 사용되며 여러가지 도표를 만들어 내는 PROC CHART, PROC UNIVARIATE의 예제가 소개되고, 여러가지 기술적인 (descriptive) 통계량의 값들을 계산하는 PROC MEANS, PROC SUMMARY, PROC UNIVARIATE의 예제를 제시하며, 상관계수와 공분산을 계산하는 PROC CORR, 모집단의 평균을 검정하는데 사용되는 PROC TTEST, PROC MEANS의 예제를 제시하였다는 PROC CORR, 모집단의 평균을 검정하는데 사용되는 PROC TTEST, PROC MEANS의 예제를 제시하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 의학교육입문검사의 개념의 틀을 형성하는데 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 구체적으로 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구는 의학교육입문검사라는 의학 적성측정도구를 개념화 하기위하여 지금까지의 일반적인 적성 검사와는 달리 의학적 인지능력 정의적 심리 구인과 의학관련 배경지식과 사고라는 의학적 적성 스펙트럼을 만들고자 한다. 한국 상황에서 적용가능하고 21세기에 요구하는 의학교육입문검사를 개념화하여 이론적 틀을 만들고자 했다. 둘째, 이 연구는 의학교육입문검사의 개념의 틀 위에서 각 개념을 양화를 통한 측정도구의 가능성을 열었다. 셋째, 본 연구는 본 검사를 통하여 의학대학과 의학전문대학원 지원 하고자하는 사람들에게 다양한 개인의 정보를 부여할 뿐만 아니라, 대학과 대학원에서의 학생 선발의 타당성을 높일 수 있는 실제적 자료를 제공해 입시사정에 유용한 자료를 얻을 수 있다는 의미에서 실제적 가치를 갖고 있다.

An 'Introduction to Creative Engineering Design' course at College of Engineering at Chungnam National University is required for all freshmen. The objective of this course is to educate the freshmen with basic engineering design concepts and experiences in creative problem-solving approaches. It provides the students learning opportunities in solving engineering design problems through team efforts and creative approaches. Thus, this course emphasizes creative ideas and thinking, engineering design experiences to students over the course. This study presents the syllabus, the examples of PBL (problem based learning)-related activities as a team, and the results of the course evaluation and outcomes. Based on the results of this study, we can conclude that overall this course using PBL method had significant positive effects on the course outcomes and the creativity of the engineering freshmen in the department of environmental engineering at Chungnam National University. However, there are still efforts to be needed to improve the PBL-related activities in the course, including students' workload, financial supports, and team work.

4차 산업혁명의 핵심 중 하나인 소프트웨어 교육에서 프로그래밍 교육은 필수적이다. 다양한 프로그래밍 언어 중 프로그래밍 입문자를 위해 적합한 언어를 선택하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 프로그래밍 입문을 위해 적합한 언어를 선택하기 위한 가이드를 제공하기 위해 2017학년도 1학기에 프로그래밍 입문 관련 교과목을 수강한 학생들을 대상으로 프로그래밍 언어에 대한 선호도를 조사하고 분석하여 언어 선택을 위한 가이드를 제안한다.

This study was conducted to analyze new nurse satisfaction and factors of the new nurse orientation program and improve their effectiveness. The CIPP evaluation model was applied in this study to assess each module of the program systematically. The respondents of the survey were 452 of five affiliated hospitals of an educational foundation. The respondents' perceptions were 'Senior', 'Operating', 'Introduction', 'Unity', 'Usefulness', and 'Needs' (from highest to lowest). Multiple regression analysis indicated that 'Operating', 'Unity', 'Usefulness', and 'Hospital Introduction' had a significant impact on satisfaction. The results presented herein indicate that planners and operators should improve effectiveness of new nurse orientation programs by enhancing sense of unity, instilling confidence as a nurse, and increasing personal utilization of subjects.

In this paper the author proposes a case study of a freshmen introduction to engineering design course ing LEGO Mindstorm NXT and analyzes the survey results of the course. The diffilculties are that this course should provide various aspects of design experiences to the students while not requiring the major knowledge and skills and it should attract the students to the engineering major. According to our case study LEGO mindstorm can be a good solution to this problem. The design experience with LEGO Mindstorm NXT provides students with various aspects of design experiences including defining problem, finding constraints and functions, exploring design space, and performing preliminary design, as well as fun. This paper also provides a project list that can be used for freshmen design experience including soccer game robots, line tracer, and vacuum cleaner etc.

전 지구적인 네트워크로 불리고 있는 인터넷에 대한 관심이 폭발적으로 늘고 있다. 때맞춰 서점가엔 인터넷의 개념과 접속방법, 효율적인 활용 요령 등을 소개한 입문서들이 속속 출현하고 있다. 아직 사용자의 수준처럼 초보단계인 이들 관련서는 시시각각 확대되는 인터넷의 기능을 따라잡지 못하는 실정이나 '정보바다'로 가기 위한 필수길잡이로 인식되고 있따.

In this paper, we introduce development process and application of a simple and effective model of a statistics laboratory using open source software R, one of leading language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. This model consists of HTML files, including Sage cells, video lectures and enough internet resources. Users do not have to install statistical softwares to run their code. Clicking 'evaluate' button in the web page displays the result that is calculated through cloud-computing environment. Hence, with any type of mobile equipment and internet, learners can freely practice statistical concepts and theorems via various examples with sample R (or Sage) codes which were given, while instructors can easily design and modify it for his/her lectures, only gathering many existing resources and editing HTML file. This will be a resonable model of laboratory for studying statistics. This model with bunch of provided materials will reduce the time and effort needed for R-beginners to be acquainted with and understand R language and also stimulate beginners' interest in statistics. We introduce this interactive statistical laboratory as an useful model for beginners to learn basic statistical concepts and R.

An introductory computer use course for students in the department of nursing at a university investigated in this study is carried through effective and systematic curriculum with its goal of achieving MOS certification, which is accepted internationally. This course direction is set in consideration of the course analysis and the nursing department's advantage in getting a job overseas. This study investigated the effects of the nursing students' course satisfaction and self efficacy on their MOS certification scores to present suggestions to improve the course.
