PURPOSES: The purpose of this paper is to evaluate interface performance while using various tack coat materials for asphalt overlay. METHODS : The evaluation was conducted with tracking test, permeability, and interface bond strength. Tracking test was conducted using an image processing technique, to investigate the susceptibility of the tack coat materials. BBS and pull-off test were conducted to evaluate bond strength. The permeability test was conducted to evaluate the effect of tack coat materials. RESULTS : Results reveal that the trackless tack coat material demonstrates less tracking compared to other materials. Moreover, both BBS and pull-off tests can effectively evaluate the bond strength at the interface. RSC-4 was measured less bond strength. Moreover, tack coat prevents water penetration through the surface and aids the extension of the surface life of asphalt pavement. CONCLUSIONS : Trackless tack coat demonstrated a high and consistent bond strength performance. The tack coat types demonstrate marginally different performance as function of curing times. Field applicability was tested based on visual observation. Therefore, these should be considered when trackless tack coat is slightly enhanced the pavement performance based on limited this study results. Finally, it is necessary to allow reasonable time for the tack coat to completely cure.

이온성 계면활성제인 sodium laurylsulfate(NaLs)와 cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTABr)의 존재하에서 항균성 N-[1-(benzotriazol-1-yl)benzyl]aniline(BBA)분자의 가수 분해 반응에 미치는 미셀효과를 검토한 바, NaLs가 존재하는 높은 pH에서 미셀 촉매효과가 나타났으며 결합상수(Ks)는 $1.45{\times}10^4M^{-1}$이었다. 이와 같은 미셀 촉매효과는 (BBA)의 소수성(${\pi}$: 4.93)보다 전이상태에서 생성되는 carbocation이 음이온성 미셀에 의한 정전기적 안정화에 기인한 결과로 보여진다.

Mobile IPv6환경에서 고속 핸드오버 프로토콜은 핸드오버 지연 시간을 줄임으로써 끊김 없는 서비스가 가능하도록 해준다. 이러한 고속 핸드오버의 이점을 IEEE 802.16e 환경에 적용하고자 본 논문은 다중 동시 바인딩 기법과 IEEE 802.21에서 제안된 이종망간의 핸드오버 기법을 이용한 IEEE 802.16e 기반 MIPv6망에서의 고속 핸드오버 기법을 제안한다. 또한 수학적 분석을 통해 기존의 FMIPv6와 핸드오버 지연과 패킷 손실량을 비교 분석한다.

1. Objectives Hiccup is one of common symptoms clinically and caused by various etiologies. also Hiccup is common comlication in Stroke patient. We have tried researching effect of herbal medicines(Jowesungcheong-tang). 2. Methods To heal the hiccup concurred in Taeumin with stroke patient, we used Jowesungcheong-tang. 3. Results A Taeumin patient diagnosed to have hiccup was, treated with Taeumin herbal medicines(Jowesungcheong-tang), and change of patient's symptoms and general condition were improved. 4. Conclusions The constitutional treatment with Jowesungcheong-tang may have an effect on management of hiccup. So we report the healing process and results of this patient in this study.

Halophyte and shellfish are functional and favorite foods in Korea. This study was conducted to survey the contents of inorganic metals to elucidate seafood hygiene & safety. The average concentrations of heavy metals in the halophyte and shellfish were 1.73, and 1.54 ppb of Cd and 47.37, 25.06ppm of Cu, respectively. Average contents of Hg in halophytes was 0.26 ppb and 50.43 ppb in shellfish. In case of minerals, the average concentrations were 4,475.62, 4,440.54 ppm of Ca, and 3,936.16, 1,227.09 ppm of Fe, 2,145.36, 6.170.60 ppm of P. and 314.53, 162.11 ppm of Zn, respectively. The average values of heavy metals were all below the permissible amounts in food but minerals showed high levels in halophyte and shellfish.

In the continued research on natural fungicides for the control of plant diseases by using plant-derived products, we found that Reynoutria elliptica. had a strong fungicidal activity against several plant pathogens. R. elliptica (3.2 kg) were extracted with 80% aq. MeOH and the concentrated extracted was partitioned with n-hexane, EtOAc, n-BuOH and $H_2O$ successively. The four layers were tested their disease control efficacies against 4 plant disease such as rise blast (RCB), tomato grey mold (TGM), tomato late blight (TLB), and barly powdery mildew (BPM). The n-hexane fraction was highly active showing over 95% control against TLB and BPM. and the EtOAc fraction was highly active showing over 95% control against RCB, TLB, and BPM. By using silica gel chromatography, MPLC, and HPLC, three compounds that were expected to have antifungal activity were isolated. Their chemical structures were elucidated as physcion, emodin, and emodie-8-O-glucoside by EI-MS and NMR spectroscopic analyses.

Drechslera siccans의 배양 추출물로부터 이탈리안 라이그라스 (Lolium multiflorum Lam.) 뿌리의 생육저해 활성을 나타내는 물질을 분리정제한 다음에 2차원 NMR을 포함한 각종 기기분석을 이용하여 구조를 결정하였다. Siccanol(1)이라고 명명한 이 화합물의 분자식은 $C_{25}H_{38}_{4}$이었으며 100ppm에서 숙주 식물중의 하나인 이탈리안 라이그라스에 대하여 100%의 저해 활성을 나타내었다.

The purpose of this research is to identify new service opportunities for enhancing driving safety of intra-city buses based on driving behavior analysis. Service opportunity identification involves finding target customers of service (to whom), motivations for service (why), service contents (what), and service delivery process (when, where). This paper presents an analysis of driving behaviors using the operational data of intra-city buses in conjunction with traffic accident data and drivers' driving history data. This paper also presents four identified service opportunities based on the data analysis results. This research would contribute to enhancing driving safety of intra-city buses in Korea and serve as a basis for developing new services for driving safety enhancement.

Product-service system (PSS) is a novel type of business model integrating products and services in a single system. It provides a strategic alternative to product-oriented economic growth and price-based competition in the global market. This paper first reviews the current status of PSS, including its concept, characteristics, benefits, and cases. This paper then reviews the existing literature and identifies major research issues for three main phases of a PSS development lifecycle, namely, PSS design, PSS evaluation, and PSS operation. This research is expected to contribute to promoting awareness and improving understanding of PSS in our society and planning of future research in this field.

Myasthenia gravis with thymoma is associated with an increased risk of second malignancy, but concurrence of myasthenia gravis and thyroid carcinoma is rarely seen. In the treatment, it is emphasized to operate in two stage to avoid myasthenic crisis after surgery. In general, a thyroid cancer surgery is performed after controlling yasthenia gravis by means of thymectomy or medical treatment with steroids and anticholine esterase. We experienced two cases of thyroid carcinoma coexisting with myasthenia gravis, which is thought to be true first report in Korea.
