간호대학생들의 임상실습 스트레스, 자기효능감 및 자아존중감과의 관계 (The Relationship between Clinical Stress, Self-Efficacy, and Self-Esteem of Nursing College Students)

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the relationship between clinical stress, self-efficacy, and self-esteem of nursing college students. Method: The data were collected from 172 nursing students in J city. Result: The average scores were; clinical stress 3.56/5, self-efficacy 3.52/5, and self-esteem 3.10/4. Clinical stress level was significantly different according to the general characteristics of clinical tutors(t=2.04, p=.043) and degree of clinical satisfaction(F=6.44, p=.002). Self-efficacy level was significantly different according to the general characteristics of school grade(t=2.29, p=.023) and degree of nursing major satisfaction(F=5.00, p=.008). Self-esteem level was significantly different according to the general characteristics of degree of clinical satisfaction(F=6.56, p=.002) and degree of nursing major satisfaction(F=14.22, p=.000). Self-efficacy level and self-esteem level showed a statistically significant but low positive correlation(r=.171, p=.05). Conclusion: A strategy for development of clinical stress management program is needed for nursing students.

간호대학생의 임상실습 중 간호활동 참여도, 임상실습 스트레스와 진로성숙도의 관계 (Association of nursing activity participation and clinical practice stress with career maturity during clinical practice of nursing college students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to figure out the association of nursing activity participation and clinical practice stress with career maturity during clinical practice among nursing college students. Methods: Participants of the study were 201 nursing college students located in nationwide regions. Data collection was performed between July 18 and August 8, 2019. Data analyses were performed through an independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS WIN 25.0. Results: The results of this study were as follows. We ran multiple regression analyses to see which critical factors influenced career maturity. The general characteristics significantly associated with career maturity were preference for clinical nursing, admission to nursing college due to belief, time off, and being satisfied with clinical practice. Regarding clinical practice stress, clinic environment, interpersonal relationship conflict, inappropriate role model and conflict with patients were significantly associated with career maturity. Conclusion: This study suggested that, to improve nursing students' career maturity, nursing colleges and training fields should collaboratively make an efforts to reduce students' stress by building educational clinic environments including managing conflicts in interpersonal relationships among patients, caregivers, and medical and non-medical personnel, and improving inappropriate role models in nursing.

임상실습 간호대학생을 위한 동사섭 훈련 적용 주장훈련의 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effects of Assertiveness Training applying Dongsasub Training for Nursing Students in Clinical Practice)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop assertiveness training applying Dongsasub training for junior nursing students, and to verify effectiveness of the training on assertiveness behavior, self-esteem, clinical practice stress, and clinical competence. Methods: The study design was a non-equivalent control group non-synchronized design. Participants were 63 nursing students in clinical training (31 students in the experimental group and 32 students in the control group). The assertiveness training applying Dongsasub training consisted of four sessions. Outcome variables included assertiveness behavior, self-esteem, clinical practice stress, and clinical competence. Data were analyzed using Chi-square, Fisher's exact test and independent samples t-test with SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Scores of assertiveness behavior (t=-2.49, p=.015), self-esteem (t=-4.80, p <.001) and clinical competence (t=-2.33, p=.023) were significantly higher and clinical practice stress (t=4.22, p <.001) was significantly lower in the experimental group compared to the control group. Conclusion: Results indicate that the assertiveness training applying Dongsasub training can be used as a nursing intervention to lower clinical practice stress and improve the clinical competence of nursing students.

간호학생의 스트레스, 자아존중감이 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Nursing Students' Stress and Self Esteem on Subjective Happiness)

  • 본 연구는 간호학생의 스트레스, 자아존중감, 주관적 행복감 정도를 알아보고 주관적 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위하여 시도되었다. 연구대상은 충북지역과 경북지역에 소재하는 2개의 간호대학에서 임상실습을 경험한 3,4학년 간호학생 중 설문 조사에 동의한 147명이었다. 자료 수집은 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 대상자의 스트레스, 자아존중감 및 주관적 행복감을 조사하였다. 자료수집기간은 2016년 9월 26일부터 동년 10월 29일까지였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 22.0을 이용하여 기술통계, independent t test, ANOVA, scheffe's test와 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 대상자의 주관적 행복감의 평균은 19.91점(28점 만점), 대학 차원 스트레스 평균 2.91점(5점 만점), 임상 차원 스트레스 평균 2.61점(5점 만점), 자아존중감 평균 29.74점(40점 만점)이었다. 위계적 회귀분석 결과 대상자의 주관적 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자아존중감(p<.001), 경제상태(p=.002), 대인관계(p=.001), 전공만족도(p=.003) 순이었으며, 주관적 행복감에 대한 이들 변인들의 설명력은 68%로, 주관적 행복감에 가장 큰 영향을 미친 변수는 자아존중감으로 나타났다. 이에 간호학생의 주관적 행복감을 증진시키기 위하여 자아존중감과 전공만족도를 높이고 대인관계를 증진시키는 다양한 전략들이 요구된다.

간호대학생의 대학생활적응 모형 (Construction of the structural equation model on college adaptation in nursing students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 변수를 확인하고 구체적인 경로와 그 영향력을 규명하여 간호대학생의 대학생활적응에 대한 모형을 개발하고자 시도되었다. 구조모형에 사용된 변수로는 모애착, 자아개념, 스트레스, 임상실습스트레스, 심리적 안녕감, 대처와 대학생활 적응이었다. 연구결과 수정모형의 적합도는 ${\chi}^2=231.1$ (p <.001), ${\chi}^2/df=2.36$로 적합한 것으로 나타났으며, GFI=.91, AGFI=.86, NFI=.91, PNFI=.73 RMSEA=.07, CFI=.95로 권장수준을 만족하였다. 변수들 중 애착, 자아개념, 스트레스, 대처방식과 심리적 안녕감은 직접으로 대학생활적응에 영향을 주었다. 자아개념은 대처방식과 심리적 안녕감을, 스트레스는 심리적 안녕감을 경유하여 대학생활적응에 영향을 주었다. 또한 이들 변수는 간호대학생의 대학생활적응을 71% 설명하는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 간호대학생의 대학생활적응을 증진시키기 위한 방안으로 스트레스감소와 함께, 심리적 안녕감과 대처능력을 증진시킬 수 있도록 자기관리능력 및 자아성장을 추구할 수 있는 학생관리 프로그램 개발 등을 모색하는 것이 중요할 것으로 사료된다.

간호학생의 임상실습 스트레스경감을 위한 발마사지의 효과 (The Effect of Foot Massage on Stress in Student Nurses in Clinical Practice)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of foot massage on the stress of student nurses in clinical practice. The research design was a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 52 student nurses from three junior colleges and one university. The subjects were assigned to one of two groups : the experimental group(26 students), and the control group(26 students). The study was conducted from October to November 1999. For the experimental group the foot massage was performed once a day for 3 days, starting from the first day of clinical practice. Subjects' mood, fatigue, blood pressure and pulse rate were measured as dependent variables. The Instrument for mood and fatigue state was a 100mm visual analogue scale. For the experimental group pre and post tests were done just before and after every 3 foot massages and on the 7th clinical practice day. For the control group pretest was done on 1st clinical day and posttest was done on clinical practice 7th day. The data was analyzed by the t-test and paired t-test and the results are summarized as follows: 1. The mood state scores were significantly higher for the experimental group as compared to the control group after the foot massage(t=13.73, p<.001). 2. The fatigue state scores were significantly lower for the experimental group as compared to the control group after the foot massage(t=8.69, p<.001). 3. The systolic blood pressure was significantly different between the experimental group and the control group after the foot massage(t=3.0073, p<.01). 4. The diastolic blood pressure was not significantly different between the experiment group and the control group after the foot massage. 5. The pulse rate was not significantly different between the experiment group and the control group after foot massage. 6. The mood state scores on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd massage day was significantly improved right after the foot massage. 7. The fatigue state scores on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd massage day were significantly lower right after the foot massage. 8. Systolic blood pressure on the 1st and 2nd massage day was significantly decreased right after the foot massage. Diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate were decreased right after massage but the change was not statistically significant. On the basis of the above findings, this study suggests that foot massage can be an effective stress relieving method for student nurses in clinical practice.

병원형태별 치과위생사가 임상실습 과정 중 실습생으로부터 경험하게 되는 스트레스 요인에 관한 연구 (A study on stress factors in dental hygienists caused by students in clinical practice by pattern of hospital)

  • Objectives : The research was performed to be used as basic data for dental hygienists' job satisfaction during clinical practice, and planning and operating effective clinical practice by analyzing stress factors in dental hygienists and the extent of stress caused by students in clinical practice. Methods : The research was aimed at dental hygienists working at college dental hospitals, dental clinic of general hospitals, dental hospitals and dental clinics located in Seoul and Gyeonggi province where clinical practices were conducted for dental hygiene students. For analysis, collected data was analyzed by using SPSS 20.0. Results : Results derived from analysis on characteristic difference by pattern of hospital were observed that there was a significant difference in job satisfaction by pattern of hospital. Results from analysis on correlation among stress factors were observed that there was correlation between behavior and attitude, interpersonal relationships, role and activity, ideal and value, and treatment fields. Results derived from analysis on the effect of stress factors on the job satisfaction were observed that role and activity (p=.002<.01), ideal and value (p=.019<.05), and treatment fields (p=.032<.05) affected the job satisfaction, while behavior and attitude (p=.386>.05), and interpersonal relationships ((p=.421>.05) did not affect the job satisfaction. A stress factor, role and activity (${\beta}$=.350) affected the job satisfaction the most, followed by ideal and value (${\beta}$=.242), and treatment fields (${\beta}$=-.185). For the explanation ability, the stress factors accounted for 20.5% of the job satisfaction. Conclusions : In conclusion, most of the dental hygienists are satisfied with students' clinical practice by pattern of hospital. Positive correlation was shown between stress factors. Behavior and attitude and ideal and value are high in stress in college dental hospitals, role and activity and treatment fields are high in stress in dental hospital, and interpersonal relationships are high in stress in dental clinics.

국내 간호전문직관 연구 주제 동향: 텍스트네트워크분석과 토픽모델링의 융합 (Trends in the Study of Nursing Professionals in Korea: A Convergence Study of Text Network Analysis and Topic Modeling)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내에서 발표된 간호전문직관 연구 주제 동향을 양적 내용분석을 통해 탐색하는 것이다. 연구방법은 학술논문수집, 단어 정제 및 추출, 자료 분석의 절차를 수행하였다. 351편의 논문을 수집하여 영문초록에서 단어를 추출하여 텍스트네트워크를 개발하였고, 네트워크분석과 토픽모델링을 융합하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 핵심 주제는 간호사, 간호전문직관, 간호학생, 간호, 전문직자아개념, 보건의료인, 만족, 임상역량, 자기효능감 등이었다. 토픽모델링을 통해 간호사 전문직관, 간호학생 전문직관, 간호전문직 정체성, 간호역량의 토픽그룹을 파악하였다. 시간이 흘러도 핵심 주제는 변화가 없었지만, 1990년대 역할갈등, 윤리적 가치, 2000년대 셀프리더십, 사회화, 2010년대 임상실습스트레스, 지지체계와 같은 주제들이 부상하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통해 국내에서 임상간호사와 간호학생의 간호전문직관과 이에 영향을 미치는 요소들에 대한 연구가 활발하게 발표되고 있었으나, 간호전문직관 형성 및 향상에 효과적인 다차원적인 중재 전략을 모색한 연구는 부족하였음을 알 수 있었다.

아로마목걸이 착용이 임상실습 중인 간호학생의 지각된 스트레스, 스트레스 증상 및 자율신경계 변화에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Aroma-Necklace Application on Perceived Stress, Symptoms of Stress and Changes in Autonomic Nervous System among Nursing Students in Clinical Training)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of aroma-necklace application on perceived stress, symptoms of stress and changes in autonomic nervous system among nursing students in clinical training. Methods: A research design for this study was a non-equivalent control group, non-synchronized pre-post test. The experimental group (n=39) underwent aroma inhalation by necklace which contains an essential oil mixture of lavender and sweet orange mixture in ratio of 2:1 for 2 weeks while the control group (n=36) received placebo therapy. The data were collected using self-administered questionnaires and measurement of heart rate variability (HRV) and analyzed using the PASW 18.0 program. Results: The perceived stress scores and scores of peripheral manifestations in the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group. All indices of HRV were significantly different between the two groups. LF norm and LF/HF ratio in the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and HF norm in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group. Conclusion: It can be suggested that aroma-necklace application was effective in decreasing perceived stress and peripheral manifestations of stress and in changing HRV indices among nursing students in clinical training.

간호대학생의 학년별 임상실습 스트레스 대처 및 실습만족도의 차이 비교 (The Comparison of Stress Coping and Satisfaction with Clinical Practice according to the Grade of Nursing College Student)

  • Purpose: The study was to identify the relationship among perceived stress, coping strategies and satisfaction f clinical experience in nursing students and to examine difference of grade. Methods: A total 238 nursing students (second grade: 141 students, third grade: 97 students) from K. Womens' College were provided with self reported questionnaires from July 26, 2006 to July. 30, 2006. Perceived stress was measured using Perceived Stress Scale. Coping was measured using Coping Responses Inventory-Adult form. Satisfaction of clinical experience was measured using Satisfaction Inventory. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson's Correlation Coefficient with SPSS 12.0 program. Result: Participants showed that a high level of perceived stress score $2.71{\pm}.47$ of total 4 (2nd grad) and $2.67{\pm}.35$ of total 4 (3rd grade). Approach Coping Scales score of coping strategies was $68.19{\pm}6.06$ (2nd grade), $63.38{\pm}6.69$ (3rd grade) of total 96, then coping mechanism's mean among 2nd grade nursing students was higher than 3rd grade nursing students. Satisfaction score of clinical experience in 2nd grade nursing students was $3.01{\pm}.32$ and higher than 3rd grade ($2.99{\pm}.38$). There was a negative correlation r=-.264 (p=.000) between perceived stress during clinical practice and satisfaction. It was statistically significant. There was a positive correlation r=.154 (p<.05) between satisfaction score of clinical experience in nursing students and approach coping scales score. Conclusion: With these findings, we found that the more approach coping level, the more satisfaction of clinical practice. It is needed to developing effective teaching method and coping strategies for nursing students to improve their coping ability and prepare qualified nursing profession.
