Self-Directed Learning in the Workplace and Labor Education in South Korea: Implications for Legislation on Trade Union Education (일터 내 자기주도학습과 한국의 노동교육: 노동조합교육 법제화에 대한 함의)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore self-directed learning (SDL) in the workplace and to examine labor education in South Korea in order to draw the critical implications for legislation on trade union education (TUE). First, labor education in South Korea and its legal system were reviewed in a detailed way. Second, SDL in the workplace was closely analyzed from the perspectives of not only human resource development (HRD) but also adult education and lifelong learning. Third, based on the results of the comprehensive review, the implications of SDL in the workplace for worker-initiated labor education were discussed in terms of legislation on TUE in South Korea. Since legislation at the national level can promote workers' participation in TUE in the context of SDL for industrial democracy, TUE in South Korea should be provided with appropriate legislative, financial, and administrative support.

  • This study examined the constructivist perspective and the characteristics of informal learning in relation to work place learning of sports center leaders through a theoretical approach. For this reason, informal learning has important learning meaning because sports center leaders based on informal learning enable them to develop their professionalism through workplace learning in terms of experience and practice in promoting the process of growth and learning. Can be. In addition, the leaders in the sports center coaching sites lack formal learning opportunities in workplace learning compared to office workers in general companies. Therefore, the type of informal learning and the way to improve learning should be presented. This part is considered to be an educational element as an important factor for the professionalism of sports center leaders. In addition, the establishment of a workplace learning environment in personal, environmental, institutional and organizational aspects will help sports center leaders to increase their professionalism.

The Mediating Effect of Workplace Spirituality on the Relationship between Emotional Labor and Life Satisfaction of Art Psychology Counselors (예술심리상담사의 감정노동과 삶의 만족도, 일터영성의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the mediating effect of workplace spirituality on the relationship between emotional labor and life satisfaction of art psychology counselors. The subjects of the study included 196 art psychological counselors in Sokcho city. As an analysis method, the SPSS program was used to perform frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis for the causal relationships between variables and the verification of the mediating effect. First, for the relationship between the emotional labor of art psychology counselors and their overall life satisfaction, both the surface behavior and inner behavior factors, which are sub-factors of emotional labor, have partial mediating effects on overall life satisfaction. Second, in the relationship between the emotional labor of art psychology counselors and their subjective life satisfaction, the inner behavioral factor, which is a sub-factor of emotional labor, has a partial mediating effect in relation to workplace spirituality. This means that workplace spirituality plays a mediating role in the relationship between emotional labor and life satisfaction of art psychology counselors. This study is considered as basic data for preparing plans for improving the life satisfaction of artistic psychological counselors.

The Effects of Workplace Spirituality and Social Support of Art Psychotherapists on Interpersonal Relationships (예술심리치료사의 일터영성 및 사회적지지가 대인관계에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the relationship between spirituality, social support, and interpersonal relationships in the workplace of art psychotherapists.The subjects were 114 art psychotherapists in the city of U. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 22.0 program. First, regarding the effects of work spirituality of art psychotherapists on interpersonal relationships, the sub-factors of workplace spirituality (vocational consciousness, inner consciousness, and empathy consciousness) had a positive effect on interpersonal relationships. On the other hand, community consciousness and transcendence consciousness, which are sub-factors of workplace spirituality, do not appear to have a significant effect on interpersonal relationships. Second, regarding the effects of social support of art psychotherapists on interpersonal relations, the sub-factors of social support, such as evaluative support and material support, had a positive effect on interpersonal relationships. On the other hand, emotional support and informational support did not significantly affect interpersonal relationships. This means that higher vocational consciousness, inner consciousness, empathy consciousness, evaluative support, and material support factors of an artistic psychotherapist are conducive to better interpersonal relationships. This study provides basic data for preparing a plan to promote positive interpersonal relations among art psychotherapists.

Workplace learning experience for corporate workers under COVID-19 : Focusing on S Energy Company (코로나 19 상황의 기업근로자의 일터 학습경험: S에너지를 중심으로)

  • This study was conducted to do in-depth exploration of coroperate employees' learning experiences for workplace under COVID-19. We collected data through depth interviews from August 10th to November 30th, 2020 with five employees of S Energy company, and a qualitative case study was conducted using Ricci's 3-step analysis procedure. As a result, In the process of adapting from the landing of COVID-19, "The Story of a Distant Country," "No More Safe Zones," "Exploring effective responses created by a Sense of Crisis," and "Learning the changed way of work for adaptation." appeared. In addition, It has been found that the experience of learning in the work environment of the With Corona era includes "learning experience for survival from a sense of crisis", "learning experience for adapting to Untact culture", "learning experience through SNS communication", and "competitive learning experience for performance creation". In conclusion, employees have adapted to changes in the workplace environment through various learning experiences, which can enhance workers' ability to cope with crisis situations and can be used as basic data for an effective learning. In the future, we suggested follow-up researches of corporate employees in various fields.
