A Study on the Effect of Experience Types of Experience Economic Theory on the Revisit Intention of Healing Agricultural Participants: Focused on the Mediating Effect of Satisfaction (체험경제이론의 체험유형이 치유농업참가자의 재방문의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 만족도의 매개효과 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify factors that are causal and intention to revisit healing agricultural facilities and to identify the relationship between factors. the effect of experience type was analyzed on revisit intention by using facility experience satisfaction as a meditator for healing agriculture participants. The sub-variables of experience types were divided into educational experience, devious experience, entertainment experience, and aesthetic experience. 259 questionnaires collected from the people who experienced healing agriculture programs in the whole country were used for empirical analysis. The PROCESS macro v3.4 and SPSS v22.0 were used to analyze based on the singular simple mediation model which contains a single mediator. First, all types of experience had a positive (+) effect on satisfaction. Second, satisfaction had a positive (+) effect on revisit intention independently of experience type. Third, all types of experience had a positive (+) effect on revisit intention. Fourth, satisfaction mediated between experience type and revisit intention except for deviating experience among experience types. As a follow-up study, it is necessary to study for the adjustment of mediators other than the mediator introduced in the study or the controlled mediated analysis through the conditional process model in which the moderator variable is introduced.

The Effects of Screen Baseball Experience Factor on Pleasure, Experience Value and Quality of Life Based on Experience Economy Theory (체험경제이론을 적용한 스크린야구장 체험요인이 즐거움, 체험가치, 삶의 질에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of screen baseball experience factor on pleasrue, experience value and quality of life based on experience economy theory. To achieve the purpose of the study, 366 questionnaires who had experience visiting screen baseball were surveyed. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, Multiple regression analysis using SPSS ver 21.0. Results of this study are as follows, First, Experience factors (entertainment experience, escapist experience) were found to have a significant effect on the pleasure. Second, Experience factors(entertainment experience, escapist experience and aesthetic experience) were found to have a significant effect on the experience value. Third, Experience factors(entertainment experience, educational experience and escapist experience) were found to have a significant effect on the quality of life. Through these study results, this suggests that the experience factors of screen baseball users positively influence the pleasure, experience value and quality of life. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an experience factor reinforcement program and expand facilities in order to increase the pleasure, experience value, and quality of life of screen baseball users in the future.

Effect of Walking Tour Experience on Tourist satisfaction and Revisit Intention (도보관광의 체험요소(4Es), 만족도, 재방문 의도에 관한 연구)

  • In the past decade, Pine & Gilmore set out the vision for a new economic era, the experience economy, in which consumers are in search for extraordinary and memorable experiences. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships among walking tourist's experiences, walking tourist satisfaction and revisit intention as the social interest on walking tour has risen. A total of 250 respondents completed a survey. Using structural equation modeling (SEM) technique, the results reveal the effects of Esthetics(indulged in environments) and Escapism(diverging to a new self) that impact on walking tourist satisfaction and on revisit intention indirectly. Overall, finding of this study enhance the theoretical progress on the experiential concept in walking tour and offer important implication for walking tour marketers.

Factors Affecting Participation Intention of Urban Agriculture : Focusing on the Combination of Pine II & Gilmore and Schmitt's Experiential Economy Theory (도시농업 참여 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 : Pine II and Gilmore 이론과 Schmitt 이론의 결합을 중심으로)

  • In the recent COVID-19 pandemic, urban agriculture is attracting attention as a healing concept. In 2020, 1,848,000 people participated in urban agriculture activities in Korea. Therefore, this study was conducted to empirically analyze the factors affecting the intention to participate in urban agriculture, which is rapidly increasing. The theoretical basis of this study is the experiential economy theory of Pine II and Gilmore and the experiential theory of Schmitt. As independent variables, a total of five variables were set as the four elements of Pine II and Gilmore's experiential economy theory, namely, educational, entertainment, escapist, and aesthetic experiences, and relational experience reclassified using Schmitt's theory. Interest was set as a mediating variable between these independent variables and the dependent variable, intention to participate in urban agriculture. For empirical analysis, data were collected through a survey. Based on the significant 314 samples of the collected data, the hypothesis was tested through statistical analysis. First, as a result of testing the influence relationship between the independent and dependent variables, educational, entertainment, and escapist experiences had a significant positive (+) effect on the intention to participate in urban agriculture. The impact of the influence was in the order of entertainment experience, escapist experience, and educational experience. There was no significant influence relationship between aesthetic experience, relational experience and intention to participate in urban agriculture. On the other hand, as a result of this study, interest introduced as a mediating variable was found to play a mediating role between entertainment, escapist, aesthetic experiences and intention to participate in urban agriculture. The mediating effect of interest was not tested between educational, relational experiences and intention to participate in urban agriculture. This study approached urban agriculture participation from the concept of healing and analyzes the factors affecting participation in urban agriculture activities empirically based on a theoretical framework by combining and analyzing the representative Pine II and Gilmore theories and Schmitt theories. It had academic significance. In addition, it was meaningful to suggest that the healing concept approach is directional in relation to urban agriculture by revealing that entertainment and escapist experiences are important influencing variables in decision-making to participate in urban agriculture in practice.

Research on the Effect of Korean Wave(Hallyu) Experience in Southeast Asian Countries on Purchase of Korean Cosmetics: Focused on Malaysia and the Philippines (동남아국가 한류체험이 한국 화장품 구매의도에 미치는 영향연구: 말레이시아와 필리핀을 중심으로)

  • Although many researches have been conducted that the contents consumption, called Hallyu, has a positive effect on the national image of Korea, which leads to product purchases, there have been few empirical studies based on the experience economy theory that connects to value relationships with customers. Therefore, based on the experiential economy theory, this research conducted an empirical analysis of the effect on Korean image and cosmetics purchase intention targeting women living in Malaysia and the Philippines who have experienced the Korean Wave(Hallyu). As a result of the research, entertainment experience, educational experience, and escape experience had a significant effect on the image of Korea, but aesthetic experience did not. Entertainment experience, educational experience and escape experience also had significant relationships in the indirect effect of Korean image on cosmetics purchase intention. In the moderating effect analysis comparing the two countries, in Malaysia, escape experience had a significant effect on the image of Korea, but in the Philippines, entertainment experience and educational experience had a significant effect on the image of Korea, so there was a difference between the two countries. The effect of Korean image on cosmetics purchase intention was confirmed significantly in both countries, but it was greater in the Philippines than in Malaysia. This research is meaningful in that it is an empirical study based on the systematic framework of experiential economy theory. In order to maintain the effectiveness of the Korean Wave(Hallyu), various improvements in the contents that make up the Korean Wave are required and policy consideration by the relevant authorities is needed. It is also necessary to consider each country's different acceptance of the Korean Wave(Hallyu).

The Structural Relationship between Experience Factor, Experience Satisfaction and Re-participation Intention of KIMAWEEK Yacht Experience Participants (국제해양레저위크(KIMAWEEK) 요트체험 참가자의 체험요인과 체험만족 및 재참가의도와의 구조적 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the experience factors of KIMAWEEK yacht experience participants affect the experience satisfaction and re-participation intention. this study, 515 KIMAWEEK participants in Pusan metropolitan city conducted a mobile survey and the following conclusions were drawn. First, deviant, educational, and aesthetic factors among the experience factors of yacht experience participants were found to affect the satisfaction of experience, but entertainment factors did not affect it. Second, educational and entertainment factors, among the experiential factors, influenced re-participation intention in relation to the experience factor and re-participation intention, but deviant factors and aesthetic factors did not affect it. Third, the relationship between the experience satisfaction and re-participation intention was also found to have a similar effect. Through this study, various and differentiated experience factors should be provided in order to increase the satisfaction of KIMAWEEK yacht experience participants. In particular, realistic events that meet local characteristics should be held.

A Study on the Metaverse Experience Economy Factors and Advertisement Acceptance Intention (메타버스 체험경제 요인과 광고 수용의도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of experiential economy factors using metaverse on the intention to accept advertisements reflecting new technologies. The subjects of this study were those located in G Metropolitan City and J Province, and those who experienced metaverse. From August 1 to September 10, 2022, 150 people participated in the survey without face-to-face. Analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and three-step mediated regression analysis. The conclusion is as follows. First, the influence of metaverse experience on advertisement acceptance intention was shown in the order of relational experience, educational experience, and escapist experience. Second, it was found that the relational and educational experiences of metaverse partially mediate metaverse usefulness and affect the advertisement acceptance intention. Third, it was found that the relational and educational experiences of the metaverse partially mediate the metaverse presence and affect the advertisement acceptance intention. Also, it was found that the metaverse's escapist experience completely mediates the metaverse's presence and affects the advertisement acceptance intention. Fourth, it was found that the escapist experience of metaverse completely mediates the ease of use of metaverse and affects the advertisement acceptance intention. It is expected that this study will contribute to the construction of a new platform in the advertising market using various platforms of metaverse.

Effects of Hotel Customer's Artistic Experience on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty (호텔고객의 예술적체험이 고객만족도와 고객충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how hotel customer's artistic experience affect the customer's satisfaction and customer's loyalty to the hotel brand. A total of 237 effective questionnaires for empirical analyses data were obtained from the hotel customers who had the experiences of appreciating on purpose or accidently the artworks displayed inside hotel. Trough the literature review it was suggested that four factors of artistic experience encompassed educational experience, escapist experience, emotional experience, esthetic experience. To test the proposed hypotheses, exploratory factor analyses and hierarchical regression analyses were conducted. The results showed that all four factors influenced customer's satisfaction and loyalty significantly. And artistic experience was confirmed to be mediated by customer's satisfaction on customer's loyalty. Based on the results, the meaningful implications and limitations were discussed.

The Impact on Attitude-Change of Experience Programmes at Cultural Heritage Sites (문화유산 관광지 프로그램의 체험성이 방문객 태도변화에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to understand the ways in which experience programmes affect visitors' attitude at cultural heritage sites. Through a literature review, this study constructed measurement scales that specifically measure experience at the cultural heritage sites. Afterwards, this study measured visitors' experience, satisfaction, and attitude at cultural heritage sites. This study found that visitors experience fun, authenticity, leaning, and a sense of escaping/togetherness through the experience programmes. Second, authenticity, fun and learning influence their satisfaction in terms of their visit, whereas a sense of escaping/togetherness does not link to their satisfaction. Third, visitors' satisfaction is the key determinant in changing their attitude. Fun is the key determinant that directly influence visitors' attitude change, whereas authenticity is the key determinant that indirectly influence visitors' attitude change.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the patterns of deviation in urban music festival through the theories and a case study. A deviation help contemporary people in the routine of daily life to give a lot of energy. Such a deviation is strongly experienced from the festival. So it is important to study the patterns of deviation in urban festival. For this purpose, the relation between deviation and festival is examined first. And then the patterns of deviation in festival are drawn from the preceding research and case studies. The patterns of deviation in festival are identified as spatio-temporal deviation, active deviation, and situational deviation. Spatio-temporal deviation is divided into non-dailiness, space separation, and space appropriation. Active deviation is divided into make-over and expression. Situational deviation is divided into overturning and new meeting. This patterns of deviation applies to case study of ACC world music festival held in Gwangju metropolitan city with a content analysis methodology. The research finding is that Spatio-temporal deviation is most evident in ACC world music festival, on the other hand active deviation and situational deviation are weak or no evident. It is expected that various deviant elements presented in this study will be used strategically in festival planning to help strengthen the festivity of modern urban festivals.
