As for the analysis method, frequency, technical statistics, and correlation analysis were performed, and the mediating effect of depression was verified through Baron & Kenny's analysis method. The main analysis results are as follows. First, the stress daily of middle-aged women had a negative (-) effect on happiness. Second, Depression was partially mediated in the relationship between daily stress and happiness in middle-aged women. Based on these results, it is significant in that it presents practical and policy measures and programs that can improve middle-aged women's happiness and lead to old age.

  • This study was to identify the relationships between activities of daily living(ADL) and stress by health characteristics in elderly living alone. A total of 260 subjects were selected through convenient sampling. Data were collected with a self-reported questionnaire from October 20 to November 20, 2014. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficients. Differences in ADL and stress according to health characteristics were as follows. ADL were significantly different according to problem of dietary habits. drinking, unsuitable health care, management groups. Stress were significantly different according to stress and availability and drug abuse. There was a negative correlation between ADL and stress. The findings of this study may be useful in understanding the health status of elderly living alone and developing more specific programs about ADL and stress control. Getting older, with the change in weight and chronic diseases, as the elderly living alone are indisposed with ADL, the applicatiom of physical activity programs and a stress management strategy is required.

In contrast, the participants displayed higher human relation skills as the level of stress from future plans and family relations increased. Second, as the level of game addiction increased, human relation skills were found to be lower. Third, the university students' stress from daily lives had a static effect on game addiction. The participants displayed tendency of game addiction as they had high levels of stress from their studies, financial issues, future plans, values, family relations, and human relations with people apart from their family. Among the listed factors of stress, the stress from the studies most strongly influenced the participants to be addicted to games. Fourth, among the sub-factors of stress in the university students, issues in future plans and family relations significantly control the game addiction. Studies on this area has been insufficient. • This study explored the impact of daily hassles and the mediated effect of spiritual well-being and the moderated effect of coping styles on health and depression of middle-aged women. Subjects for this study were 230 Christian midlife women attending in the 10 churches on the metropolitan area. The data was analyzed using path analysis and moderator effect model with the structural equation modeling. Daily hassles are found to act as causes that damage physical or mental health and also elevate the level of depression. Daily hassles have a direct impact on health and depression, and at the same time, they also produce a partial mediation effect on spiritual well-being as a mediation factor. In other words, daily hassles impede spiritual well-being, and the deteriorated spiritual well-being, although its connection to physical health is not clear, is shown to damage mental health and elevate the level of depression. Analysis of coping styles related to the relationship between daily hassles and health and depression showed that, of the 12 coping styles, three, namely, self-criticism, positive interpretation and self-control, produced significant buffering effects. This study hopes to reveal the mediation factors that can minimize negative impact in the relationship between middle-aged women's daily hassles and healthiness and provide the basic material for figuring out practical implications and policy measures regarding the issue.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among daily hassles, self-efficacy, and stress responses of RN-BSN (Registered Nurses-Bachelor of Science in Nursing) students in juggling both their jobs and learning as an adult learner of distance education in digital convergence era. The data were collected by a questionnaire from 229 nurses in a RN-BSN course of an open university from October to November, 2013. The mean score of facing task dimension was much higher than the interpersonal dimension score among daily hassles. The academic problem of the facing task and the family relationship of the interpersonal were the highest respectively. The mean score of self-efficacy was slightly higher than the median. Multiple regression showed that perceived health status, workload, occupation satisfaction, and values problem of daily hassles explained 44.2% of stress reponses and values problem was the main factor influencing stress responses. The distance education policies and strategies were required to manage their stress for the adult learners of distance education in digital convergence era.

  • This study identified the effect of menstrual attitude, life stress and clinical practice stress on premenstrual syndrome of nursing students. Data were analyzed with the SPSS 22.0 program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and simple linear regression. Premenstrual syndrome was significantly negative correlated with menstrual attitude (r=.28, p=.004), positive correlated with life stress (r=.31, p=.001) and clinical practice stress (r=.29, p=.003). The factors that influence premenstrual syndrome were regular exercise (β=.-.18, p=.006) and dysmenorrhea (β=.51, p=.000), which explained 38.0%.
