A Study on the Stability Boundary for Multi-Loading System by Using Generalized Inverse (일반역행렬을 이용한 복합하중을 받는 구조물의 안정경계에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 복합하중을 받는 구조물에 있어서 구조물의 안정경계점을 계산하는 방법을 제시하고 있다. 여기에서는 우선 안정경계점에 놓여 있는 기지의 점에 대한 선형해를 일반역행열을 이용하여 선형 증분 평형방정식의 여해와 특이해의 선형결합으로 나타내었다. 다음으로 두 개의 하중계수를 구속하는 선형조건을 도입하고, 그 구속조건하에서 하중계수 비가 일정하게 되도록 반복계산을 수행하므로써, 안정경계점위의 다음 목표점이 얻어진다. 얻어진 이 점을 초기점으로 이용한다. 평형경로를 추적할 때, 본래의 두 개의 하중계수 문제는 하중계수의 비가 일정하다는 조건을 도입하여 단일 하중계수의 문제로 된다. 두 개의 예를 들어 수치해석을 행하였으며, 얻어진 결과로부터 본 연구에서 채택된 방법은 구조물의 경계안정점을 찾는 문제에 적합하며 더욱 개발할 여지가 있음을 보여주고 있다.

A Study on the Shape Finding of Cable-Net Structures Introducing General Inverse Matrix (일반역행열(一般逆行列)을 이용(利用)한 케이블네트 구조물(構造物)의 형상결정에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the 'force density method' for shape finding of cable net structures is presented. This concept is based on the force-length ratios or force densities which are defined for each branch of the net structures. This method renders a simple linear 'analytical form finding' possible. If the free choice of the force densities is restricted by further condition, the linear method is extended to a nonlinear one. The nonlinear one can be applied to the detailed computation of networks. In this paper, the general inverse matrix is introduced to solve the nonlinear equilibrium equation including Jacobian matrix which is rectangular matrix. Several examples for linear and nonlinear analysis applied additional constraints are presented. It is shown that the force density method is suitable for form finding of cable net and the general inverse matrix can be applied to solve the nonlinear equation without Lagrangian factors.

  • This paper deals with the method of self-equilibrium stress mode analysis of cable dome structures. From the point of view of analysis, cable dome structure is a kind of unstable truss structure which is stabilized by means of introduction of prestressing. The prestress must be introduced according to a specific proportion among different structural member and it is determined by an analysis called self-equilibrium stress mode analysis. The mathematical equation involved in the self-equilibrium stress mode analysis is a system of linear equations which can be solved numerically by adopting the concept of Moore-Penrose generalized inverse. The calculation of the generalized inverse is carried out by rank factorization method. This method involves a parameter called epsilon which plays a critical role in self-equilibrium stress mode analysis. It is thus of interest to investigate the range of epsilon which produces consistent solution during the analysis of self-equilibrium stress mode.
