미국의 연구중심 종합대학에서 이루어지고 있는 종신고용은 대학에 조교수로 채용된 후 일정 기간이 지나면 종신고용 및 승진에 관하여 연구, 강의 및 교육, 봉사를 중심으로 한 전반적 심사를 통과한 교수에게만 주어지는 특권이다. 그러나 이 제도는 교육부 같은 곳에서 일률적으로 정해놓은 획일적인 제도가 아니라 각 대학과 학과, 학계의 특성을 십분 이해하는 터전 위에서 융통성 있게 운용되고 있다.

This investigation presents a method to design an optimal shape of a matching waveguide connecting two waveguides having different impedances. The design objective is to maximize power transmission through the waveguide system. When an incident wave impinges on an elastic waveguide system consisting of waveguides of different impedances, all of the incident wave power may not pass through due to the mechanical impedance. Therefore, the maximization of the transmitted power through a waveguide difficult to achieve without a systematic design method. In this work, the optimal shape design of a matching waveguide connecting two waveguides of different impedances is formulated as a shape optimization problem. If the material of the matching waveguide is given, its shape is the only parameter controlling the transmission power. Relatively simple one dimensional elastic wave transmission problems will be considered in this work, but the underlying methodology and the related physics can be clearly demonstrated. The influences of initial configurations as well as the target frequencies on the optimized shapes will be also investigated.

This study was investigate correlation of moisture content, relative humidity, pH, color difference, myoglobin(Myo), oxymyoglobin(Oxy) and metmyoglobin(Met). The moisture content, relative humidity of loin and shank were not changed uniformly during storage, the pH was raised according to storage period. The L value was raised at the closing stage of the storage period, the surface of the b value was higher than interior. Between Myo and Met were positive correlation in common with loin and shank. The surface and interior of loin were negative correlation between Oxy and Met, the surface and interior shank were positive correlation between Myo and L value and were negative correlation between Myo and Oxy. The moisture content, relative humidity, pH and color was not correlation uniformly.

This Study investigates evaluation policies for goodwill under the current tax law and suggests improvements as follows. First, even though not appear on the financial statements of acquiree at the date of acquisition, the current corporate tax raw regulates that firms need to estimate purchased goodwill including acquisition amount and additionally recognizable intangible property right with no distinction. According to this rule, purchased goodwill from business combination under the current tax raw has a drawback in overestimating. So, there is need of further improvement on the current related purchased goodwill regime to distinguish additionally recognized intangible property right from purchased goodwill. Second, in the consideration of internally generated goodwill, suggested in the current inheritance and gift tax act as a supplementary evaluation technique, the estimated value of goodwill may contain some bias, since the current regulation uniformly applies to all the companies with no industry characteristics. This may particularly become problematic while computing abnormal earnings, uniformly applying the 10% normal return to all the companies since the normal return is not likely to reflect industry characteristics and thus the computed abnormal earnings may be biased. Therefore, there is need to revise the current regulation relating to the normal return, to convert from the existing 10% rule to the industry average rate of return method.

본 소고는 철근콘크리트 구조물에 관련된 현재의 실험적, 해석적 연구의 수준을 정리 요약한 것으로서 이력모델에 따른 철근콘크리트 구조물의 응답과 모델의 선택시에 빈번히 만나게 되는 문제점 및 해석시 응답모델의 선택 등에 대해 기술하였다. 실제적으로 R/C 구조물의 비선형 이력모델은 그 범위가 매우 넓고 다양하기 때문에 일률적으로 설명하기가 매우 어려운 점이 있다. 여기서는 철근콘크리트 구조물의 이력모델의 종류 및 범위에 대하여 소개하고 그 특성 및 형성과정에 대해 간략하게 설명하기로 한다.

본 논문에서는 instruction과 data cache로 나누어지는 L1 cache를 가진 시스템에서 instruction과 data cache 각각의 block 크기 변화가 전체 시스템의 성능에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. 이를 위하여 SPEC CPU 벤치마크 프로그램을 입력으로 하는 SimpleScalar를 이용한 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 본 연구를 통해서, instruction과 data 각각의 특성에 맞는 cache block 크기를 사용하는 것이 일률적인 cache block 크기를 사용하는 것에 비하여 전체 시스템의 성능을 더욱 향상시켜 준다는 것을 보여준다.

세계화가 사회적 불평등을 심화시키고 있지만 이에 대처하는 개별 국가의 능력은 오히려 약화되고 있으며, 그 결과 노인인구층의 복지여건이 악화되고 있다는 것이 종래의 일반적인 인식이다. 본 논문은 이러한 일반적 인식을 재검토하는데 목적이 있다. 검토작업은 다음 네가지 영역에서 이뤄진다. 첫째, 세계화에 대한 상이한 개념정의와 시각을 검토한다. 여기에는 노령층에 대한 복지급여를 잔여적 급여로 전환시키는데 있어 핵심적 역할을 행하고 있는 주요 국제기구의 활동을 중점 논의한다. 둘째, 세계화가 개별 국가에 미치는 영향이 일률적이라는 시각을 재검토하기 위해 세계화에 대해 서로 다르게 반응한 미국과 유럽방식을 비교한다. 셋째, 세계화가 노령화 정책에 미치는 영향에 대해 논의한다. 넷째, '사회적 삶의질'이란 개념을 통해 노인계층의 복지수준은 경제적 성장보다 사회적 급여에 더 큰 영향을 받게 됨을 보여 주고자 한다.

자동차 엔진, 점프, 모우터 둥과 같은 회전동력장치의 일률이나 효율을 측정하거나 혹은, 회전동력장치를 과부하 없이 운용하고자 할 때 토오크센서를 이용한다. 이 때 사용되는 토오크센서는 대부분 strain gage와 slip ring을 이용하고 있는 데, 이러한 종류의 센서들은 감지된 토오크를 회전하는 축으로부터 외부로 그 신호를 전달하기 위해서 slip ring 이나 magnetic coupler와 같은 중간의 신호 전달장치 ( signal transmitter )를 설치하여야 한다.(중략)

향후 재벌규제 또는 재벌개혁의 바람직한 방향은 첫째, 그 목표가 글로벌 경쟁에 직면해 있는 우리나라 고유의 기업조직인 재벌의 경쟁력 강화에 초점이 맞추어져야 하고, 둘째, 재벌규제는 기존의 경제력 집중 억제 규제나 지배구조 관련 규제 등과 같은 획일적 직접 규제를 탈피하여 시장경쟁을 통해서 해결하도록 하여야 하며, 셋째, 지배구조 관련 각종 규제는 모든 기업이 채택하도록 일률적으로 규제를 시행하기보다는 기업이 주어진 경영 환경에 따라 자율적으로 선택할 수 있게 하여야 한다. 마지막으로 시장경쟁을 통한 기업조직의 효율성 제고를 위해서 정부는 공시제도의 유효성 제고에 최선을 다해야 한다.
