  • The desire to be beautiful naturally focuses on aesthetics, and the beauty industry is growing significantly accordingly. Among them, art makeup is developing in the beauty field as a creative and experimental art field that breaks away from the fixed framework centered on color and expression. Art makeup is a field that requires research on a new artistic form of art makeup that applies formative principles through design ideas based on integrated arts such as fashion, architecture, and art according to formative principles. Formative principles were classified into balance, unity, emphasis, and rhythm, and practical cases based on his applied integrated arts were divided into landscaping, architecture, flowers, painting, fashion, and interior design, and art makeup design using formative principles was analyzed. Accordingly, we aim to contribute to the development of new designs by explaining how makeup design forms that apply formative principles are being applied in the field of art makeup, exploring expansion into creative areas, and providing academic theoretical foundations and basic materials for the development of art makeup.

  • Fashion flagship store is to maximize brand's image, not for sales. As a value for consumption is changing into expression of individual styles and egos through brands' images based on their personalities rather than products, today, people are laying stress on expression of brands' personalities with spatial design of fashion flagship store to create differentiated brand images. This study was designed to examine brand personalities expressed in fashion flagship store's spatial design, and spatial components and ways of expression to influence them, and analyze how brand personality has an impact on brand loyalty. According to the results of this study, brand personality in fashion flagship store's space design of Louis Vuitton has three characteristics such as sincerity, vitality and tenacity, and display, pattern, furniture, color and wall have high influences on expression of its brand personality. Also, the higher brand personality got, the higher brand loyalty went up. These results imply that fashion flagship store's space design expressing differentiated brand personalities influences customers' brand loyalty to constantly use the brands, and thus is highly important for brand marketing of this day.

  • The purpose of this study was to research the efficient tool of the exclusive fabric simulation in Jacquard Textile CAD system. For performing this design study, it designed the surface design of the abstract images of flowers through EAT Designscope CAD system and simulated the interior fabric. To merchandise the fashion items and see the visual image, these fabric simulations was effected by two or three-dimension modeling through EAT designscope, YongWoo CNI, Alias and so on. The result of this study can be summarized as follows. Before the step of weaving the samples from the surface design works, jacquard fabric design can be done very efficiently to apply the design step of the fabric simulation in CAD(Computer Aided Design). As the usage of the simulation tool in CAD system, jacquard design can be easily feed-back to modify for the right fabrics and produced the various designs in the short running time very efficiently. Therefore, this jacquard design system ultimately can be saved cost and developed the higher value-added goods in more response to consumer demands.

  • This work aims on the one hand at the sublation of the typical image of the existing travel agencies and on the other at the making of new image that meets the clients' wishes. Looking in the face that in the existing travel agencies most clients are straying with the overflowing and selling-oriented informations, this design work pursue the image making of a new atmosphere of travel agency, in which the clients can make a rational choice. In complying with the policies of the travel agency in the Karstadt department store I have arrived at the basic design theme: the desire for travel depends on how organically and reciprocally the interest on the travel and the presentation of the travel information are combined with and permeated into each other, and furthermore how multifariously and plentifully these reciprocal combining and permeating are put on the stage. So it follows that the travel agency must let the clients indirectly experience the wished travel through staging various kinds of experience spaces. Consequentially the basic concept of the design can be summarized in the following: overlapping-transmitting and permeating-suspending.

  • The size of the home interior market is growing rapidly as interest in interiors and self-interiors has increased due to the recent rapid increase in single-person households. Most of the Bathroom remodeling is done by requesting an offline interior contractor and then visually checking it in the final completion stage, so it is not easy to re-construct even if the customer is dissatisfied. Therefore, this study developed an immersive virtual reality-based Bathroom self-remodeling system that can visually check space and design from the design stage to the final stage by incorporating VR technology to feel realistic in virtual reality. The bathroom structure may select the basic structure of the predefined bathroom space or freely set the size of the bathroom space. For furniture items, you can choose the washbasin, toilet, bathtub, shower booth that are essential elements of the bathroom and others(mounting rack, trash bin, handle). The tile texture may change the texture of the selected tile at a desired wall position by selecting various textures. In particular,, the texture of the wall tile can be varied by selecting horizontal, vertical and inclined directions at the desired angle according to the needs of the user and the contractor. As a future research project, this system will enable indoor sharing between users who are physically far away in real-time, allowing direct experience in virtual spaces, connection to purchases, and request estimates.

  • Today the social concern about Interior Design gradually requires wide comprehension. Also according to demanders' requirement. Colleges cope with speed. Interior Design made by experts for the function and purpose in the conception of decoration. Therefore, Colleges are responsible to educate for more capable professional designers. But management is the first concern for Interior Design Company students are going to work at. Interior Design has not the important state yet in Korea, it is hard to manage the company with only design works on the table. As architectural design side must get some admission, design is apart from construction. but they are worked together in Interior Design. Also, as the architectural design with process detail drawings, interior design is required the detail design for construction. But it is the facts that the college is interested in and concentrated on rather education for design and space plan than intensive education for construction because of the restricted environment of practice room. I propose component and practical use of nude construction department to understand detailed design.

  • Cultural analysis is closely related to 'Space' which we live in. This means that the shape of the space is not formed accidentally but is a cultural result from how we live. The approach through cultural analysis of space provides a good standard in order to understand people's values and lifestyles. Today the purpose of sightseeing has changed from just visiting some famous places to experiencing unique culture of other countries. Especially the demand of the sightseers which makes you experience culture through tasting food has been increasing. Yet there are some Korean restaurants that don't show enough Korean culture accurately. The purpose of this study is to research the figural characteristics in Korean interior design with the method of cultural analysis and how they are expressed in the Korean restaurants. In addition, I'd like to suggest that Korean figural characteristics are not old fashioned but are modern things that have grate potential to be reinterpreted.

  • Recently with increasing interest in the natural science history education, a lot of natural science museums have been developed in various locations. This project is located in one of the biggest Paleozoic site, Taebak Kangwon-do. This kind museum has had important rolls in terms of education for student, destination for traveling and reservation of important holdover of the old ages. To do those kind of parts, this project has been designed with concepts and themes like; i. being organized with story telling structure with theme "secret of life and earth from Taebak" ii. combining experiences between outdoor experimental search for the real fossils and indoor educational interactions with real size model and moving films. iii. designing with strong identities of Paleozoic era. For the design identities the outer appearance was designed with motive of trilbites in an abstract way and inside was finished with exposed concrete and various size of moving films projected to walls and floor to emphasize real scale experience of the old ages.
