The general software configuration management system shows lack of the properties and features of software development environment for multimedia due to its wide range to be covered. Multimedia software development environment has properties like repetitive analysis and simulation using visual programming environment where, beside support of elementary development functions, component or library can be combined and tested interactively. Moreover, the method to look fast and effective for component having similar function is required. In this paper, we present the system which supports the software configuration management method for a simulation tool and the system for the properties in the multimedia software development environment. And we relate our system to real simulation tool so as to check its ability as the software configuration management system for multimedia software development environment.

In this paper, we proposed the "synchronous & asynchronous distance education system" which is able to interact among teachers and students for open education in cyberspace, and it is based telecommunication technology and multimedia technology. Specially, This system gets rid of the nufamiliarity and inconvenient feeling during the distance education. Also it supports the mediation of floor mode, for a group lecture and supports the synchronous mode for face-to-face effective and asynchronous mode for self-learning. The asynchronous mode has the down load function and the consultant mode (between teacher and student). The element technologies of this system consists of application sharing technique, whiteboard, various video window display, audio support, user interface, environment setup, session management, access control, network control and media control for collaborative distance education.

In this paper the TRMS (Tilting Rolling-stock Maintenance System) that applies the concept of RAM (Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability) and RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) to Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Policy for TTX (Tilting Train Express) will be discussed. We will briefly introduce the RCM concepts and discus show these concepts and procedures are implemented in the TRMS S/W. In the TRMS S/W there are four modules, System and Operations Information Module, FMECA(Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis)module, RAM Information Module, and RCM Analysis Module. The System and Operations Information Module provides the user interface for collection of systems and operations related data and the FMECA module provides a groundwork for the RCM analysis. The algorithms to calculate the reliability and failure rate for Weibull distribution and formulae to calculate the task intervals and task costs are proposed in the RAM and RCM Analysis Module respectively. There is a good possibility of applying RCM to other rolling stock maintenance systems if the benefit that RCM can brings to the maintenance world is fully recognized.

The SNS(Social Network Service or Social Network Sites), the concept which came along with the Web2.0 is on-line service which focuses on building social network communities of people which used to be established off-line. Foreign SNS sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter and domestic SNS sites such as Cyworld, Me2Day are getting popularity continuously and became one of the most important application in internet environments. Since these SNS sites have the purpose of providing infrastructure which enable all the people to share his/her interests with all the other people, it is necessary to appraise whether these sites provide convenient interfaces with proper accessibility to handicapped people and old people who are considered having difficulties in using internet. Web accessibility refers to the practice of providing equal access to people of all abilities and disabilities. If the web accessibility of a SNS site is so low that handicapped people and old people cannot use it properly, those gaps between user groups may become social problems. Therefore, the paper appraised web accessibility of Facebook and Cyworld using automatic tool, KADO-WAH 2.0 and Standard guideline, WCAG 2.0 and suggested the improvement opportunities based on the results of the appraisal.
