Considering constantly increasing number of internet users and information-oriented society with high speed internet network, the application of computer technology is considered to be valuable in urban planning. Particularly, since using Geographic Information System (GIS) is expected to be the best method to convey the information related to the urban planning. Therefore, this study aims at the development of participation system by using GIS and Internet. The system consists of Basic Module, Disposal Module and Decision Support Module. Each module is designed for expressing planning information and processing database, opinion statement and convenience of citizens, and the effectiveness of administration process and decision making. These are connected each other in a basic and simple form, i.e. Java Script and HTML, and the system was realized through data process, Map date and PostGIS for Mapping, and PHP. Last but not least, this system has been tested on the internet and the result indicated its convenience and availability in actual use concluding that participation system has enough application value on urban planning process.

인터넷 이용자의 편의를 위하여 기업포탈(Enterprise Portal)을 구축하는 사례가 급증하고 있으며, ERP 도입을 통하여 기존의 많은 시스템의 통합을 추진하고 있는 추세로서 송변전지리정보시스템(TGIS)과 변전소 정보관리시스템(SIMS)의 통합 운영은 시스템적인 측면과 업무적인 측면을 모두 고려하여 볼 때 그 효용성은 매우 크다고 할 수 있으며, 송변전이 통합된 자산관리 운영에 다양한 편의성을 제공할 것이다.

According to development of Information Technology and generalization of internet, practical use field of geography information became various. Therefor various Geographic Information System (GIS) constructed to manage geography information efficiently. However, geography information data of various form is depending on graphic authorizing tool of various form being not normalized each other. So, OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium) proposed GML (Geography Markup Language) that describe normalized geography information data that can apply mutually and W3C proposed SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) of vector base. In this paper creates GML data of XML base for geography information data processing to vector graphic object. and design and implementation of GML document editing and translation system that define code converter that create GML document through created graphic objects and change vector graphic to logic structure of XML base.

현재 무선단말기 보급의 확대와 시간과 공간의 제약을 뛰어넘는 장점으로 무선 인터넷 환경이 급속도로 발전하고 있다. 그러나, 본 논문의 연구 분야인 모바일 지리정보 시스템(Mobile Geographic Information System)에서 무선인터넷을 통하여 실시간 지리 정보를 얻기 위해 사용자의 무선단말기와 서버 사이에 빈번한 데이터 송수신이 이뤄져야 하며 데이터의 빠른 변화를 수용해야 한다. 그러나, 아직 현저히 낮은 대역폭을 가진 채널을 통해 통신하며, 비싼 이용 요금과 오류로 인한 자발적 또는 비자발적 연결 끊김 현상 등은 서비스 제공에 한계를 가진다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 이동 컴퓨팅 환경의 연구를 통해 연결 끊김 현상에서도 클라이언트의 지속적인 서비스 운영을 위한 비연결 연산으로 의미론적 캐시 기법과 캐시 교체 전략에 대해 알아보며, 본 논문에서는 Layer와 Region을 고려한 의미론적 캐싱 기법을 제안하여 무선 환경에서 동적인 지도서비스를 위한 기법을 제시하였다. 이 연구를 통해 아직 많은 한계를 지닌 무선인터넷 환경에서 지리정보뿐 아니라 위치기반의 다양한 서비스 분야에 응용될 수 있으리라 기대된다.

인터넷 기술의 발전과 웹 사용자의 증가로 웹에는 매우 않은 정보들이 축적되고 있으며, 여기에는 또한 매우 많은 지역정보가 존재한다. 일반적으로 웹 정보라고 하는 것은 웹의 컨텐츠, 사용이력, 구조를 중심으로 한 정보이며, 이러한 정보를 하나의 중요한 공간 정보원으로 취급하여 웹으로부터 특정 지역에 관한 컨텐츠를 수집하고 이를 분석하여 사용자의 공간 정보원으로서 사용할 수 있다. 또한 인터넷, 무선통신, 지리정보시스템(GIS), 위치기반서비스(LBS) 등의 기술들이 모바일기기에 복합적으로 접목되면서 모바일기기에서의 새로운 형태의 정보에 대한 응용이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 웹 환경을 활용하고, 모바일 환경을 고려하여 GIS와 Web을 통합한 모바일 지역정보 검색 시스템을 제안한다.

It is important to scrutinize spatial patterns in crime analysis since crime data has geographical attribute in itself. We focus on the development of ¨Crime Analysis GIS¨ prototype which can discover spatial patterns in crime data by integrating mapping functions of GIS and spatial analysis techniques. The structure of this system involves integration of DBMS and GIS, and the major functions of the system include (i) exploring spatial distribution of point data, (ii) mapping hot-spot, (iii) clustering analysis of crime occurrence, and (iv) analyzing aggregated areal data. The process of design and implementation of this system is based on object-oriented methodologies. A web-based extension of the prototype using 3-tier architecture is currently under development.

사회 경제적으로 지리 정보에 대한 관심이 커지고 있으며 인터넷 기술의 보급으로 일반인들도 지리 정보를 쉽게 접근할 수 있게 되었다. OpenGIS는 지리 정보를 표현하고 공유하는데 필요한 데이터 모델 및 상호 연동을 위한 표준이며 CORBA, OLE/COM, SQL 세가지 환경에 대해 구현 명세가 있다. 본 논문은 ODBMS를 저장 시스템으로써 사용하고 CORBA를 분산객체기술로 활용하여 OpenGIS SFCORBA(Simple Features Specification for CORBA) 인터페이스를 구현하는 방법을 설명한다. 특히 ODBMS와 SFCORBA 사이의 인터페이스를 변환하는 Wrapper의 역할, 자동 생성 방법, 구현 등을 중심으로 기술한다.

Recently, brisk up the construction of the spatial information, many people highly concern to tile information circulation of GIS. Each system like GIS has a structure of the information circulation to itself. In this paper, we study on the performance evaluation method of tile structure which to circulate tile spatial information based on the internet. To do this, we hypothesize values of content and scale of the geo-spatial information on each internet network and volumes of the information to circulate between internet networks. Then we suggest a method to evaluate the performance of the structure to aid the circulation of spatial information based on queueing model. Henceforth, with the volumes of data stored and circulated information of each GIS, this method can help to design the structure to circulate the GIS information more efficiently.

점차 지리정보시스템(GIS; Geographic Information System)에서 표현의 다양화가 요구되어지며 특히 위성영상의 데이터는 거대하기 때문에, 지라공간의 자세한 연구를 원하는 사용자에게 많은 처리시간과 고가의 비용이 요구된다. 바면 웹에서 성능향상을 위해 공간데이터의 양을 줄인다 보면 공간데이터를 다양하게 표현하지 못하는 경우가 발생하게 된다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 사용자의 공간데이터에 대한 양적 부담을 줄이고 공간데이터의 정확도를 유지할 수 있는 Multi-Scale에 따른 Multi-Resolution(MS-MR) 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 즉, 서버에서 축척의 정량화를 통해 레이어가 추가될 지점과 다중 해상도의 구간을 정하여 맵을 점차 확대함에 따라 다중해상도의 레스터맵이 클라언트에게 점진적으로 전송된다. 이는 인터넷 연결상태와 GIS 사용목적에 따라 적절한 다중 해상도의 레스터맵을 제공하게 되며, 사용자가 진화적으로 시스템 추구로 빠른 정보습득과 의사결정을 돕는 효과를 기대할 수 있게 한다.

최근 이동 통신 기술의 발달과 모바일 단말의 급속한 확산으로 인하여 무선 인터넷 환경에서의 컨텐츠에 대한 관심이 부쩍 높아지고 있다. 이러한 흐름에 발 맞추어 컨텐츠 및 응용 프로그램의 개발을 용이하도록 하기 위한 무선 인터넷 플랫폼의 표준화 작업도 한창 진행되고 있으며, 우리나라에는 이에 해당 하는 WIPI (Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability)라는 플랫폼 규격이 만들어졌다. 하지만 WIPI가 만들어 진지 얼마 되지 않았고, WIPI 플랫폼을 채택하고 이를 활성화 시키고 있는 단말기 제조 업체도 아직 그리 많지 않아 아직 이를 기반으로 하는 컨텐츠는 많이 부족한 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 WIPI를 기반으로 하는 하나의 컨텐츠로서, 다른 컨텐츠의 부분 기능으로써도 유용하게 제공될 수 있는 무선 단말에서의 공간 지리 정보 제공을 위한 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 1) 모바일 단말에서 지리 정보를 제공하기 위한 시스템에서 제공해 주어야 하는 기능을 분석하고 이를 위한 시스템을 설계하며, 2) 이를 WIPI 에뮬레이터(Emulator)를 사용하여 구현함으로써 설계된 내용의 유용성을 보인다.
