This study explores ways to improve the actual conditions of ocean environment by conducting a comparative study on the current sea-water quality of Busan Metropolitan City and Incheon Metropolitan City that are representative sea port cities in Korea. The indices used to evaluate the sea-water quality include water temperature, salt content, PH, DO, COD, DIN, T-N, DIP, T-P, Sio2-Si, floating materials, and Chi-a. The findings of the analysis can be summarized as follows: First, ocean environmental states of Busan Metropolitan City and Incheon Metropolitan City are getting increasingly worse between the year of 2000 and 2003. Second, T-N, DIP and T-P have been main contributors in worsening ocean environmental states of Busan Metropolitan City and Incheon Metropolitan City.

This study aims to analyze tourist inflow trends and consumption patterns using a geographic information system and big data analysis system. Songdo Central Park and Chinatown were selected among the major tourist destinations in Incheon, and floating population analysis and card sales analysis were conducted for one month in June 2017. The number of tourists visiting Songdo Central Park from metropolitan cities across the country was highest in the order of Incheon Metropolitan City, Gyeonggi-do, and Seoul Metropolitan City, and the proportion of foreign tourists was the highest in China. The number of card consumption used by Chinatown tourists was 12.4% higher for men than for women, and the amount of card consumption was also higher for men by 18%. This study has implications for proposing a strategic plan for tourism policy by analyzing the inflow trend and consumption pattern of tourists and deriving major issues in the establishment of tourism policy. Based on this study, it is expected that it can be helpful in improving the construction of tourism infrastructure in the future.

This study suggested following specialized strategies to be operated in additionally constructing a library, based on a variety of cultural properties and contents, which exist in Dong-gu, Incheon, and the Dong-gu development zone proposed by 'Dong-gu Master Plan 2022'. First, it attempted to select specialized themes based on local characteristics such as cultural properties and contents by each region, by dividing Dong-gu in Incheon into four areas: culture tourism/theme tourism, historical culture, central commercial and infrastructure industry area. Second, it proposed a specialized theme and strategy for children's library to be completed in 2022 by considering the local characteristics. Third, it also suggested the specialized strategy which the representative library should pursue, by considering the social characteristics of Dong-gu.

이 연구는 인천광역시 소재 사회복지시설에 근무하는 사회복지사 274명을 대상으로 2015년 5월 및 7월에 실시한 설문조사 결과 중 사회복지사들이 겪은 인권침해와 불이익 경험 여부 및 영향요인을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 이 연구는 인권침해는 상사나 동료 및 클라이언트의 폭언, 폭력, 성희롱의 경험으로, 불이익은 임금과 수당, 복리후생, 기관운영에서의 차별로 구분하였다. 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과, 이 연구는 사회복지사가 여성일수록, 연령이 낮을수록, 기혼자일수록, 고용형태가 비정규직일수록, 근로시간은 길수록 인권침해와 불이익을 경험하게 되는 확률이 상대적으로 높으며, 대학원 이상의 학력 소지 사회복지사의 경우 불이익 경험 보다 인권침해 경험을 받을 가능성이 높은 것으로 확인하였다. 또한, 이 연구는 사회복지사들은 인권침해 경험에도 불구하고 직장 내에서 이를 문제로 제기한 경우는 10.3%에 불과한 것도 확인하였다. 전국 및 기초지자체 차원에서 사회복지사의 근로환경과 인권침해에 관한 조사연구가 있는 상황에서, 처음으로 광역지자체차원에서 이를 분석한 이 연구는 사회복지사의 인권침해와 불이익의 예방과 피해구제를 위한 적극적 조치가 필요하다는 의견도 제시하였다.

Two newly naturalized species were recorded from Incheon (Youngjong-do) and Ulsan. Among them, Bidens polylepis S.F. Blake (Asteraceae) was widespread and was found in the following locations: Unbuk bridge, Unbuk-dong, Jung-gu in Incheon, and Chuiseosan, Banggi-ri, Samnam-myeon as well as a Saemmul mountain cabin on Jaeaksan, Sangbuk-myeon in Ulju-gun, Ulsan. Bidens polylepis can be distinguished from congeneric species by its larger ray-flowers. The Korean name of Bidens polylepis was newly formulated based on the characteristic of its yellow ray-flowers and on the Korean name of the genus Bidens (Asteraceae). The other species, numerous populations of Saponaria officinalis L. (Caryophyllaceae) were found in two areas in Jeotgae village, Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon. Saponaria officinalis can be distinguished from congeneric species in the family by two features, shallow calyx teeth and a petal with appendages at the base of the blade.

The purpose of this study is to prepare basic data necessary for the development of services or systems that can enhance the accessibility of health and medical services or enhance the efficiency of health and medical use of senior citizens by identifying factors for predicting health and medical use behavior of senior citizens in Incheon Metropolitan City through the Korea health panel data(version 1.5). Through the structural equation model established through the SPSS and AMOS, it was confirmed that the predisposing factors, health behaviors and needs factors had significant direct and indirect effects on the use of health care services. Since the imbalance in demand and supply of health and medical services is more severe than in other regions, the results of this study can be used as basic data when checking whether the current health and medical system in Incheon Metropolitan City can operate effectively in an aged society and discussing how to provide health and medical services to the elderly in Incheon.

다제약제내성과 같이 최근 결핵이 더 심각해지고 있다는 측면에서 볼 때 결핵이란 병은 지금보다 더 양지로 끌어내서 더 많은 사람에게 알리는 일이 무엇보다 중요하다. 결핵이란 병이 어떤 것인지 전혀 알지 못하면 병을 더 악화시킬 수 있기 때문이다. 대한결핵협회 인천광역시지부는 복십자의원을 통한 결핵전문 치료와 더불어 결핵퇴치 홍보에 앞장서고 있다.
