The purpose of this study is to assess the relationships of alcohol consumption patterns to mental distress and self-rated health. Data of 19,856 adult drinkers over 19 years of age and older from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey were evaluated by multivariate logistic regression analysis. Risks of experiencing perceived high stress, depressive symptoms and suicidal thoughts were higher in alcohol use disorder group in male, whereas the risks were higher in both alcohol use disorder and hazardous drinking groups in female, reflecting higher susceptibility to mental distress. In both male and female, former drinkers presented poor self-rated health compared with low-risk drinkers, although no difference was found in the prevalence of mental distress. Specialized mental health management measures for female drinkers are required, and former drinkers are suggested to be assessed separately from never or low-risk drinkers for their physical and mental health status.

CR systems performs spectrum sensing operation to detect the appearance of primary users. However, since it is not feasible to do spectrum sensing and data transmission simultaneously, they typically operate alternatively in a time domain. There have been an effort(8) to investigate the optimal spectrum sensing duration for maximum throughput for the scheme with cooperative spectrum sensing. This is based on an assumption that the communication channels between each secondary user and the fusion center are ideal and does not consider the effects of transmission error. Motivated by this, we here model the channels as binary symmetric channels and examined its effect on the maximum throughput and the associated optimal sensing duration. Analysis shows that the performance degradation due to the transmission error is smaller for the case of using the AND fusion rule than for the OR fusion rule.

The purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting perceived oral health status according to socioeconomic status and community periodontal index(CPI) and decayed, missing, and filled teeth(DMFT) using the 6th Korean national health and nutritional examination survey(KNHANES VI) and provide a basic data for plan of policy. The higher the age, the lower the household income and education level, the worse the subjective oral health had better oral health and there was a tendency that the respondents who had no oral exam within 1 year and experienced CPI or DMFT estimated their own health as worse. It is needed to make policy development to resolve the inequality of oral health.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of middle school students' health factors and eating behaviors on their oral symptoms using the data from 30,885 students in the 13th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey in 2017. The logistic regression for the effects of the health factors and eating behaviors on the oral symptoms were analyzed using a logistic regression method. The results showed that the groups of higher levels of achievement, and stress, lower daily frequency of tooth-brushing, and no intake of processing meat led to significantly higher levels for toothache and gingival pain recognition. Also, the higher halitosis recognizers had significantly higher levels of stress and the lower daily frequency of tooth-brushing. In conclusion, adolescents' health factors and eating behaviors affected their oral symptoms. This study is expected to help development of a oral health education program that can prevent these oral symptoms.

유비쿼터스 환경 하에서 새로운 첨단 핵심기술 및 서비스가 하나의 제품 안에 집중되어가는 시대적 요구가 대두되고 있다. 이에 부응하여 탄생한 컨버전스 제품인 텔레매틱스의 전망 역시 두드러지고 있다. 본 연구는 Davis[14]가 제안한 기술수용모델(Technology Acceptance Model:TAM)을 통하여 텔레매틱스 사용의도에 관한 수용모형을 제시하였다. 기술수용모델의 내부 요인인 사용의도, 인지된 유용성과 인지된 이용용이성 외에도 업체 신뢰도, 정황 인식성, 자기 효능감의 외부 요인으로 확장하여 요인 간의 구조적 관계를 위한 모형을 개발하였다. 실증분석을 한 결과 정황 인식성, 자기 효능감이 각각 인지된 유용성과 이용용이성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 텔레매틱스의 이용자에게 중요시 되는 특성에 대해 논의하였다.

사용자의 관심사를 고려하면 상황 인지 서비스의 질을 높일 수 있다. 기존의 사용자의 관심사를 고려하는 서비스에는 지식베이스(KB)가 사용 되었으나, 최근 새로운 방법인 wikidata를 이용한 엔티티 링크를 활용한 방법도 활발히 연구가 진행되고 있다. wikidata가 적용된 엔티티 링크는 기존의 KB를 이용하는 방법보다 데이터의 변경, 보완이 쉽고 가볍다. 이에 본 논문에서는 wikidata가 적용된 엔티티 링크 모델을 이용한 상황인지 서비스를 제공 할 수 있는 프레임워크를 제안한다.

Online rumor creates psychological stress and image loss for victims. Prior studies related to online rumor did not consider the online environmental factor, despite the fact that online rumor occurs in the online space. Therefore, this study tried to investigate the influence of online characteristics on online rumor. This study considered perceived anonymity, lack of social presence, and perceived dissemination as online characteristics. We established and demonstrated a research model in which online characteristics affect online rumor behavior through attitude toward online rumor. This study obtained the sample of 201 social network users based on the survey and verified the research model using PLS tool. The results provided that perceived anonymity and perceived dissemination influenced online rumor behavior through attitude toward online rumor. On the other hand, lack of social presence was not significant. The findings of this study provide the fact that an individual's online rumor behavior can be caused by online characteristics. This study suggests that we pay attention to the role of perceived anonymity and perceived dissemination for online rumor behavior.

Realistic media, the next-generation media technology in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, is becoming an issue as a technology to experience through an environment that optimizes user experience, especially! It is rapidly developing into the health and healthcare convergence and complex fields. Realistic media technologies and services are being adopted to solve the problems of the increase in chronic diseases due to the increase in the elderly population and the lack of infrastructure and professional manpower in the fields of cognitive training and rehabilitation. Therefore, in this study, a cognitive training system was designed and implemented for the purpose of improving cognitive ability and daily life activity in subjects with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) who require cognitive rehabilitation. In the future, an integrated service platform with interactive communication and immediate feedback as an intelligent cognitive rehabilitation integrated platform based on AI and BigData is left as a research project.

This paper describes a Web search optimization study that investigates both static and dynamic tuning methods for optimizing system performance. We extended the conventional fusion approach by introducing the "dynamic tuning" process with which to optimize the fusion formula that combines the contributions of diverse sources of evidence on the Web. By engaging in iterative dynamic tuning process, where we successively fine-tuned the fusion parameters based on the cognitive analysis of immediate system feedback, we were able to significantly increase the retrieval performance. Our results show that exploiting the richness of Web search environment by combining multiple sources of evidence is an effective strategy.

Objective : This study analyzed the correlation between cognitive function and oral health-related quality of life (OHQoL). Methods : Demographic and clinical characteristics were extracted and utilized for subjects aged 45 years or older who participated in the 8th Korean Longitudinal Study on Aging in 2020. The dependent variable was the Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index, and the independent variable was the level of cognitive function classified by the Mini-Mental State Examination scores. The analysis method used inverse probability of treatment weighting (IPTW). Then, the association between cognitive function and OHQoL was analyzed by multiple regression analysis. Results : Among the participants, 4,367 (71.40%) had normal cognition, 1,155 (18.89%) had moderate cognitive impairment, and 594 (9.71%) had severe cognitive impairment. As a result of analysis by applying IPTW, there was a negative correlation between the cognitive function group and OHQoL (normal vs. moderate: β = -2.534, p < .0001; normal vs. severe: β = -2.452, p < .0001). Conclusion : After propensity score matching, mild cognitive impairment showed a more negative association than severe cognitive impairment. Therefore, patients with cognitive impairment require oral health management education to improve OHQoL regardless of the level of cognitive impairment.
