Investigating the Determinants of Trust in the Internet Shopping Mall Environments: Focusing on the Moderation Effects of Perceived Risk and Perceived Price (인터넷 쇼핑몰에서의 신뢰 형성 요인에 관한 연구: 인지된 위험 및 가격의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Internet shopping has continued to grow rapidly in the past decade. The main cause of this growth was the cheap price and convenience. However, internet shopping is uncertain compared to off-line shopping malls. Consumers don't have a chance to directly see and touch the products they will purchase. Many previous studies have suggested a trust to resolve this uncertainty. For purposes of the study, we examined how trust affects word-of-mouth effect and third-party assurance. Furthermore, using perceived risk and perceived price as moderating effects, we analyzed to see how each group-that is, those with high perceived risk and low perceived risk and those with high perceived price and low perceived price-shows differences in trust building. The results of empirical study found that both two variables of word-of-mouth effect and third-party assurance have significant impacts in trust building of internet shopping malls. It was proven that each group-those with high perceived risk and low perceived risk and those with high perceived price and low perceived price-showed differences in trust building. The results are expected to provide both the researchers of the trust study and hands-on worker with important implications.

고령자들이 웰스테크(디지털 자산관리) 자문·일임서비스 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 특성 및 요인에 대한 연구

  • 최근 고령화로 인한 수명연장은 노후생활비용 부담의 가중을 통해 고령자들의 노후파산 가능성을 높이는 핵심 위협요인이 되고 있기 때문에 이를 위한 사적자산의 안정적, 장기적인 관리와 증식이 필수적이다. 자산관리 자문/일임 서비스를 이용하는 것은 이를 해결할 수 있는 좋은 대안이지만 과거에는 서비스 이용가능 대상이 대형 금융기관을 거래하는 거액자산가들로 국한되어 있었다. 그런데 최근 기술혁신과 더불어 플랫폼을 기반으로 하는 웰스테크(디지털 자산관리) 서비스가 빠른 속도로 대중화되고 있어, 이를 활용하면 보다 많은 고령자들이 자산관리에 대한 부담을 경감할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 이런 이유로 최근 주목받는 웰스테크(디지털 자산관리) 자문/일임 서비스에 대한 고령자들의 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 특성 및 요인들을 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위해 기술수용이론 중 소비자가 얻는 혜택과 희생을 모두 고려하는 '가치기반수용모델(Value Based Model)'을 기본 모형으로 하되 웰스테크(디지털 자산관리) 자문/일임서비스의 특성을 고려하여 '가격효용성'을 혜택 요인에 추가하였다. 또한 고령자의 특성을 고려하여 희생 요인에 '인지된 위험'을, 별도의 요인으로 '사회적 영향'을 각각 추가하였다. 예상되는 연구결과로는 지각된 혜택에 해당하는 유용성, 즐거움, 가격효용성은 모두 인지된 가치에 유의한 (+)의 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 반면, 지각된 희생에 해당하는 기술성과 인지된 위험은 모두 인지된 가치에 유의한 (-)의 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다. 또한 추가변수인 사회적 영향은 인지된 가치에 유의한 (+)의 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다.

  • The goal of this study is to explore the factors that influence on intention to use UHDTV Service. Research problems has been designed to Structural equation model by Technology Acceptance Model. The Perceived quality, Price sensitivity, Innovativeness are adopted as independent variables. And Perceived usefulness, Perceived ease of use are adopted as intervening variables. A result of analysis, Perceived quality and Price sensitivity influenced the Intention to use via Perceived usefulness and Perceived ease of use. But in case of Innovativeness, it did not influence the Perceived usefulness while it influenced the Perceived ease of use. Meanwhile, the influence of Perceived quality to Perceived usefulness had more impact than the other path between the other factors.

  • The studies related to the price of artworks have focused on how factors that are determined on production level, such as artists and the artwork materials of the studies, affect the artwork prices. As 'Dansekhwa' is in the spotlight within local Korean art auction matket, this study would like to analyze the trend of the price changes of 'Dansekhwa' with its growing popularity among the public. We have estimated the price changes based on 4,199 auction data of 20 artists with top 20 auction prices selected by the Korean Art Price Appraisal Association, between 2005 and 2016. Also, in order to compare and analyze the price changes of the 'Dansekhwa' products, we have classified the 20 artists into groups of Dansekhwa and non-Dansekhwa. Starting from 2013, when Dansekhwa has first appeared, we applied the Difference in the Difference model(DiD) to estimate the result. As a result, the difference between two groups showed 71% of price difference due to the increase in popularity of Dansekhwa. This result proves that recognition level has an important role for increase in price of an artwork. Moreover, the fact that the formalized style of Dansekhwa has linked to the appreciation of the price means that production of information could play an essential role in growth of art market. As recognition level of Korean artists and their artworks is considerably low within the local art market, putting in the effort to increase the popularity of artworks among the public might be a helpful way to magnify the potential demand.

A Study Over the Relationship Between Apartment Prices and Distances from Expressway interchanges (In the case of the Seoul Beltway) (고속도로 인터체인지 이격거리와 주변 아파트 가격의 관계연구 (서울외곽순환고속도로 영향권을 중심으로))

  • The present study is performed to identify the relationship between apartment prices and distances from freeway interchanges. To collect consistent data and to simplify the sphere of the influence, the Seoul beltway was selected as the target road. Two sides of the Seoul beltway such as the inner side and the outer side are partitioned following the whole beltway line. The maximum distance to be taken care of in data collection was 6.0km from freeway interchanges. Results show that there exist consistent patterns between apartment prices and distances from freeway interchanges. In detail, if the apartment is located on the sphere of the influence, it is shown that a) the prices are increased overall b) the prices are low at very near of interchanges c) the prices are increasing up to the points of about 2.0~4.0km from interchanges d) the prices are decreasing after the points. Additionally, it is shown the pattern observed was following approximately a quadratic curve which is different from the liner curve obtained from the similar study over the sphere of the influence in railway(Subway).

The Effect of Price and Brand Names on the Evaluation of Cosmetics (가격 및 인지도가 화장품 평가에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated the effect of the price and brand name on the consumer's evaluation of cosmetics. 363 women from 20's to 50's living in Seoul and the metropolitan area were asked to use and describe the given samples of cosmetic products for one week with different information of price and brand name. The results of this study are as follows: First, the assessment of the facial toner, moisturizer and cream does not show a significant statistical difference between the group of 'renowned' and 'renownless'. Second, the assessment of the facial toner, moisturizer, and cream shows a significant statistical difference between the user groups which received the prior information whether the cosmetics are 'high price' or 'low price'. Third, the assessment of the users' satisfaction of the 3 kinds of cosmetic products mentioned above is influenced by 'renown' an 'price'. Finally, the interaction of the factor 'renown' and 'price' influences on the cosmetics' effectiveness significantly. From this study, it was discovered that the evaluation and the degree of satisfaction on cosmetics were influenced by the price and brand names. This will improve the understanding of consumers' behavior and personal decision-making, which in be the key of marketing strategy.

  • 인터넷 쇼핑이 점차 대중화되어가면서 다양한 형태의 인터넷 쇼핑몰이 등장하고 있다. 현재 인터넷 쇼핑몰에 사용되는 상품이미지는 움직임이 없는 정적인 JPEG 이미지부터 빠르게 움직이는 동적인 GIF 이미지까지 다양한 형태를 이루고 있다. 이러한 상품이미지의 움직임 속도에 따라 사용자가 인지하는 쇼핑몰 사이트의 가격대와 상품의 가격대가 다를 것으로 예상했으며 사이트의 상품이미지의 지배적인 움직임 속도가 오프라인 상점을 연상하는데 영향을 미칠 것으로 추측하였다. 실험은 같은 상품 이미지를 동적인 움직임 정도에 따라 세 가지로 분류하여 사용자로 하여금 예상되는 쇼핑몰의 가격대를 매기도록 하였고, 어떤 오프라인 상점을 연상하는지 조사한 결과 사용자들은 정적인 상품 이미지를 사용하는 쇼핑몰 페이지를 고가의 인터넷 쇼핑몰로, 동적인 상품이미지를 사용하는 쇼핑몰 페이지를 저가의 인터넷 쇼핑몰로 인식하였다. 또한 상품 이미지의 움직임과 오프라인 상점의 가격대별 연상이 어느 정도 상관관계가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이 연구를 통해 동적인 상품이미지와 정적인 상품이미지가 쇼핑몰의 가격대인지 형성에 미치는 역할을 알아보고 가격 관련 사용자 경험에 시사하는 바를 살펴보았다.

  • Recently, the interesting of customers in online auto insurance is rapidly increasing. The one of major reasons is economical benefit. offline auto insurance products as a service formed high price. However, online auto insurance relatively formed low price. Thanks to these characteristics of online auto insurance has gained great popularity. Therefore, in purchasing online auto insurance, consumers carefully buy products of auto insurance. In this study, we classified the $2{\times}2$ matrix (online preference group, economic pursuit group, convenience oriented group, and carefulness approach group) in online auto insurance consumers focusing on the perceived benefits and price acceptance. From an economic point of view of consumers around the perceived benefits and price acceptance, we analyzed the relationships among easy of use, usefulness, attitude, and purchase intention in automobile e-shopping mall. The results of this study will provide the useful implications for the planing CRM(customer relationship management) strategy for improving purchase intention of customers to online insurance companies.
