Prospective memory (PM) is memory for activities to be performed in the future, such as remembering to purchase a piece of fruit on the way home or remembering to give someone a telephone message. Theoretically, PM retrieval can be accomplished either by controlled monitoring of intended action or by a more automatic process that spontaneously responds to the presence of intended event. The present study examined the effect of meta-cognitive awareness in PM retrieval process. In Experiment 1, we manipulated PM condition with a salient cue to stimulate participants' meta-cognitive awareness. Results showed the salient cue condition spontaneously triggered remembering to perform an intended action. In Experiment 2, we manipulated participants' meta-cognitive awareness about PM task difficulty and about the degree to which cognitive capacity is required to realize the PM task. Results showed that PM retrieval process varied with meta-cognitive awareness (i.e., more resources were allocated if the PM task was expected to be difficult). These results imply that participants' meta-cognitive awareness play an important role in PM retrieval process.

본 연구는 인지양식이 온라인 학습의 성취도에 영향을 미치는 요인중의 하나라는 선행연구 결과들을 토대로, 인지양식이 온라인 정보탐색능력에도 영향을 미치는지 그리고 어떤 다른 개인적인 특성들이 온라인 정보탐색행위와 연관성이 있는지 고찰 하였다. 연구 대상은 대학원 석사과정과 박사과정에 재학중인 학생 36명이었으며, 인지양식검사와 Ellis와 Haugan (1997)의 정보탐색행위 모델에 근거하여 연구자에 의해 제작된 설문조사를 실시하였다. 학생들에게 연구 주제를 주고 온라인상에서 정보를 탐색하도록 시켰으며, 이들의 정보탐색행위 과정과 특성을 관찰하고 기록하였다. 인지양식검사 결과와 설문조사 결과를 양적 분석하고, 정보탐색행위 과정과 특성에 관한 질적 분석한 결과에 의하면, 개인의 인지양식과 온라인시스템을 이용한 정보탐색능력과는 아무런 상관관계가 없었다. 반면에, 정보탐색행위는 컴퓨터 이용 능력, 온라인 도서관 시스템 사용경험/능력과 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 검색한 정보에 대한 만족도는 정보탐색에 보내는 시간과 반비례 상관관계를 가지며, 대부분의 학습자들이 총 8단계의 정보탐색과정 중 " Browsing" 단계에 대부분의 시간을 보내는 것으로 관찰 되었다. 끝으로 대부분의 학생들이 도서관 시스템 사용능력에 높은 효능감을 보였지만, 학교 온라인도서관 시스템이 사용하기 편리하지 않도록 설계되어있다고 대답했으며, 자신들의 연구를 위해서 인터넷 검색엔진보다는 도서관 데이터베이스를 더 자주 사용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

한국어의 이해와 산출의 심리적 과정에 대한 인지심리학적 연구들을 개관하였다. 한국어의 통사적 구분분석처리 과정, 대용어 참조 해결 과정, 덩이글 이해와 지식구조의 활용 과정, 말실수와 글쓰기의 언어 산출 과정 등에 대한 심리학적 연구를 개관하여 주요 실험적 결과와 이론적 의의를 논하고, 이들이 앞으로의 한국어 이해와 산출 과정에 대한 인지과학적 연구에 시사하는 바를 논의하였다.

인지심리학 및 인지언어학 분야에서 시도한 어휘 표상, 특히 움직임과 관련된 동사의 인지도식에 관한 연구들을 비교해보고자 한다. 인간의 언어학적인 지식을 도식적으로 표상 하고자 하는 노력은 언어의 통사적인 외형에만 치중하는 연구에서는 언어의 의미구조를 파악하기 힘들다고 판단하고 의미적인 범주화를 중요시하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 시각적 이미지 도식을 중점적으로 살펴보기로 한다. 이미지 도식은 공간적 위치 관계, 이동, 형상 등에 관한 지각과 결부되어 있다. 이미지로 나타낸 표상은 근본적으로 세상의 인식과 세상에 대한 행동방법을 사용하게 하는 유추적이고 은유적인 원칙에 기초하고 있다. 이러한 점에 있어서, 언술을 발화한 화자는 어느 정도 주관적인 행동의 능력과 그가 인식한 개념화에서부터 문자화시킨 표상을 구성한다. 인지 원칙에 입각한 의미 표상에 중점을 둔 도식으로는, Langacker, Lakoff, Talmy의 도식이 있다. 프랑스에서 톰 R. Thom과 같은 수학자들은 질적인 현상에 관심을 가져 형역학(morphodynamique)이론을 확립하였는데, 이 이론은 요즘의 인지 연구에 수학적 기초를 제공하였다. R. Thom, J. Petitot-Cocorda의 도식 및 구조 의미론의 창시자라고 불리는 B.Pottier의 도식이 여기에 속한다 J.-P. Descles가 제시한 인지연산문법(Grammaire Applicative et Cognitive)은 다른 인지문법과는 달리 정보 자동처리과정에서 사용할 수 있는 연산자와 피연산자의 관계에 기초한 수학적 연산작용을 발전시켰다. 동사의 의미는 의미-인지 도식으로 설명되는데, 이것은 서로 다른 연산자와 피연산자로 구성된 형식화된 표현이다. 인간의 인지 기능은 언어로 표현되며, 언어는 인간의 의사소통, 사고 행위 및 인지학습의 핵심적 기능을 담당한다. 인간의 언어정보처리 메카니즘은 매우 복잡한 과정이기 때문에 언어정보처리와 관련된 언어심리학, 인지언어학, 형식언어학, 신경해부학 및 인공지능학 등의 관련된 분야의 학제적 연구가 필요하다.

This literature review explores the possibilities for the automatic processing to account for the people's responses to emotional stimuli. The most fundamental question is if some parts of emotions are experienced without any intrusion of cognitions. In other words. can emotions be processed completely implicitly$\ulcorner$ Some studies advocate emotion related processes are much more immediate and primary than semantic processes. The phenomena to catch up the emotive values of stimuli even subliminally suggest that the implicit knowledge structure takes charge of this automatic processes of emotional information. This study summarizes the explanatory scheme of emotional processing by means of applying implicit memory principle and physiological evidences related to e emotional memories.

The theoretical research of olfaction began about a hundred years ago and the electrophysiological expermental techniques have been used for the olfaction research from 1950's. However, olfaction has not been studied so much as other senses. Recently interest in the offaction mereases for its industrial applications. We descenbe the companson of vertibrate and insect olfactory organs, smell perception mechanism, olfactory signaing transduction, and industnal applications f olfactory system, it is expected that the vanous ongeing researches on the olfactory system will contribute to sensor and scent industnes.

This study analyzed the effect of the cognitive style of field dependence/independence to the information-seeking behaviors of 250 undergraduate students. The cognitive style of field dependence/ independence was examined by Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT), information-seeking behaviors were examined by information-seeking performances, and survey for information-seeking behaviors. As a result of the analysis, the cognitive style of field dependence/independence affected items of information-seeking performances except one item among items set in this study. The cognitive style, the cognitive characteristics acting in the process of cognitive activity affected the actual activities of information-seeking behaviors. The cognitive style of field dependence/independence affected the seeking process except the results of seeking and general information-seeking behaviors in the areas of information-seeking behaviors. Therefore, the study of cognitive style can be effective in the seeking process areas of information-seeking behaviors.

본 논문에서는 비상운전 상황하에서 표출되는 운전원들의 직무전략 및 인지적인 특성을 도출하기 위해 운전원 교육 프로그램을 대상으로 운전원들의 직무특성을 분석하였다. 운전원들의 직무특성을 인지과정의 개입 정도에 따라 크게 Macro와 Micro로 구분하여 이들 직무특성을 잘 대변해 줄 수 있는 비상운전 시나리오를 개발하였다. 시뮬레이터를 통해 개발 시나리오에 따른 운전원들의 비상운전절차 수행과정을 비디오로 기록, 운전원들의 행동과 대화내용을 전산 분석하여 직무특성을 도출하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between cognitive levels and achievement of science process skills. A science laboratory process skills test based on optional instrument of the SISS was administered to a sample of 162 students in the 8th grade. Practical assessment tasks consisted of the contents about acid, base, density, and a property of cobalt chloride. The format of this practical test was the station type that students had to conduct a short activity. Science process skills included three sub-skills which were categorized as designing, performing, and reasoning. As cognitive levels develop from concrete operational stage to transition stage and formal operational stage. total scores of science process skills and mean scores of sub-skills were significantly increased. Regardless of cognitive levels. all students were more successful on performing than designing or reasoning. In case of being controlled cognitive levels, gender differences and area differences were not detected in achievement of science process skills. According to these results. there was a strong relationship between cognitive levels and achievement of science process skills by practical assessment. This study implies that considering student's cognitive levels is very important for improving science process skills.
