A Systematic Literature Review of Data and Analysis Methods Used in HR Analytics Research (국내 HR Analytics 연구에서 활용한 데이터와 분석방법에 대한 체계적문헌고찰)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the various data and methods employed by HR analytics studies. The researchers selected 78 KCI-indexed empirical articles on HR analytics and categorized them using the Employee Life Cycle framework. This yielded several important findings. First, employee retention has been the most common subject of extant studies, followed by performance management. Second, HR analytics studies have used a variety of data (structured and unstructured) according to their research questions, and the data sources have ranged from organizations' internal systems to national databases. Third, most domestic HR analytics studies have been descriptive and diagnostic, whereas predictive and prescriptive studies have been rare. These results have important theoretical and practical implications for future HR analytics research.

  • 가뭄은 사회기반시설, 인적 자본 등과 같은 자산에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않으나 물을 중요한 투입재로 사용하는 농업부문에 피해가 집중된다. 가뭄 재해는 준비와 대응에 따라 피해에 큰 차이가 크기 때문에 다른 재해와는 달리 강도뿐만 아니라 지속기간을 고려해야 한다. 효과적인 가뭄 위험 관리를 위해서는 가뭄의 특징과 가뭄 준비 및 대응 수단에 따른 환경 및 경제적 영향을 평가할 수 있는 모형 구축과 다양한 농업자원을 동시적으로 연계 평가하여 지속가능성을 판단할 수 있는 기술 개발이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기후변화 등의 외부요인을 반영한 물-에너지-식량 (Water-Energy-Food, WEF) 넥서스 기반 농업 가뭄 평가 플랫폼 설계를 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 물-에너지-식량 넥서스 연계 해석 고도화 기술을 개발하고, 생물-물리학적 모델 및 경제학적 모델 연계형 기후-토양-물-에너지-식량 넥서스 (CS-WEF NEXUS) 플랫폼을 구축하여, 최종적으로 기후변화 및 농업부문 가뭄 준비 및 대응 수단의 영향 평가를 바탕으로 한 의사결정 지원 도구를 제시하는 것이 최종 목표이다. 본 연구에서 구축된 플랫폼은 넥서스 연계 해석을 통해 농업 가뭄 대응을 위한 식량 및 에너지 안보 정책에도 미칠 수 있는 영향을 분석할 수 있으며, 다양한 식량-물-에너지 정책들이 타 요소들에 미치는 영향을 쉽게 평가할 수 있다는 점에서 정책적 의사결정 지원 시스템으로서 활용도가 높을 것으로 예상한다.

A Study on the Analysis of Characteristics of School Library Services Using the Repertory Grid Technique (레퍼토리 그리드 기법을 통한 학교도서관 서비스 특성 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of school library services using the RGT (repertory grid technique), and to examine whether there are differences in the perceptions and internal experiences of school library services between human resources (librarian teachers, subject teachers, and librarians). I used indicators such as element intensity, construct extremity, discrepant constructs, and implicative dilemmas to analyze the characteristics of school library services. The elements of the repertory grid were set to 9, and 14 constructs were set through focus group interviews with 3 librarian-teachers. The GRIDCOR 6.0, which can be accessed online, was used to complete the repertory grid for 30 graduate students of the College of Education, and 6 of them were selected and analyzed, considering the demographic characteristics. From the perspective of element intensity, it was found that the following school library services are important and influential: resource management, teacher-librarian collaboration, and reading and information counseling services. The clarity of one's role, the actual performance, and self-regulatory ability were ranked high from the perspective of constructs intensity.

  • Airlines tried to introduce training programs in connection with practical work in order to provide more effective education and training. To this end, airlines have been conducting evidence-based training(EBT) to strengthen the practical capabilities of aviation personnel and enhance safety culture. Airlines can systematically evaluate the capabilities and practical capabilities of aviation personnel by analyzing operational data and case studies for effective EBT model development. In addition, EBT models can be constructed by applying technical methods such as crew resource management (CRM) and a holistic approach that includes human factors. Due to the introduction of EBT, airlines will establish diagnostic and feedback systems for pilots' practical work, provide personalized education, and establish an education and training system that verifies the effectiveness of education through educational outcomes.

Exploring the Development Directions of Learning Outcome in Higher Education through the Analysis of Popular Tools: A Case of University K (주요 고등교육 학습성과 분석 도구 분석을 통한 발전 방향 모색: K대학 사례 연구)

  • In recent times, there has been a shift towards student-centered higher education policies, leading to a growing interest among universities to improve students' learning outcomes. To aid in this endeavor, this study aims to provide guidance for University K to enhance their learning outcome management by comparing and analyzing their learning outcome indicators with those of other domestic and foreign universities. The study examined detailed measurement questions from major learning outcome measurement tools such as AHELO, NSSE, and CLA+. Upon comparison and analysis of University K's major learning outcome indicators with those of other universities, it was found that most of the indicators overlapped. However, some indicators such as student support/facilities for learning, instructor quality, and communication were absent from University K. Therefore, it is crucial to decide whether to add these indicators to the existing learning outcomes or to confirm them through other surveys. Moreover, even for the same indicator, some indicators with different measurement need to consider changing the measurement.

  • One More Pumpkin won the grand prize at the 2023 Dubai International AI Film Festival, and new possibilities were also opened through the International AI and Metaverse Film Festival (GAMFF), which was held for the first time in Korea. Generative works began to stand out in earnest, with 527 diverse works from 42 countries at home and abroad using AI and metaverse technology submitted to this contest. AI is being used in a variety of fields, including the creation and implementation of digital characters through combination with VFX, improving the efficiency of video production, and managing the overall video production process. This contributes to saving human and material resources required for production and significantly improving the quality of produced videos. However, generative AI also has ambiguity in copyright attribution, ethical issues inherent in the learned dataset, and technical limitations that fall short of the level of human emotion and creativity. Accordingly, this study suggests implications at the level of production, screening, and use, as generative AI may have an impact in more areas in the future.

A Study on Human Rights Behavior of Korean Care Workerin Long Term Care Facilities: The Interaction Effect of Human Rights Awareness and Service Orientations (장기요양기관 요양보호사의 노인인권옹호행동 영향요인: 개인의 인권의식과 조직의 서비스 지향성을 중심으로)

  • As the provision of long-term care policy takes root and with a gradual increase in elderly population, the use of elderly care service has become a growing norm. More than ever, there exists an urgent need for a paradigm shift in the building of an institutional basis for the improvement of care service, from the prevalent practice of 'need based service' toward the concept of 'human rights based service'. A great focus is being shed on care-workers, at the 'front line' of advocating human rights, as their human rights advocacy behaviour is seen as a key variable in providing high quality care service for elders. This study aims to examine how care-workers' individual human rights awareness levels, and the influence of their respective organizations, as an environmental factor, affect their human rights advocacy behaviour. The study includes a comprehensive analysis of the interactions between the regulatory effect of environmental factors (service orientation?) on an organizational level, human rights awareness (individual level) and the service environment (organizational). The analysis sample consisted of 782 registered non-profit corporation of long-term care facilities all over the country in 2014. The findings of the thesis suggest that human rights awareness at individual levels has a significant influence on human rights advocacy behavior. The interaction of human resources management in service orientations was also found to influence human rights advocacy on a significant level. Both human rights awareness at individual level and service orientations at organizational level were thus determined as key variables for improving the human rights awareness of care worker in long-term care facilities in Korea.

  • There is various points that should be improved in Fairness such as our contract practice to propose construction projects, project managing and the stakeholders' way of thinking and culture. We consider that the revision of construction related provisions and systems is required but even more, an overall change in business management through the implementation of Integrated Construction Information Management System that will enable the owner, which drives the project, and contractor sharing construction information is required. To mange construction related information in an integrated manner, designing information should be smoothly transferred to purchasing information, and changes are required in order to move ahead to process-oriented work system. Finally information created from various construction organizations should be delivered in an aligned and standardized manner as well. The domestic Nuclear Power Plant Construction has been accepting various technology transfers from U.S, France, Canada and UK, which enabled us to self-support technology and recently even proceeded to the phase exporting our technology to others. However, continuous effort is required to improve internal business efficiency and to respond to external environmental change such aselectricity market deregulation. Recently, in accordance with the result in number of CEO's intention to make progress in IT and improve business efficiency, the number of enterprises introducing Enterprise Resource Planning is increasing. ERP is an innovative tool which changes the way of performing work from organization and department orientation to process-orientation in order to optimize the resources, such as human and material resources, through out the Enterprise by performing BPR which will maximize overall business efficiency of the enterprise, such includes not only construction management, but also business management. KHNP continued to performing large scaled construction projects such as nuclear power plant construction for past 30 years and took the initiatives of large scale project management and Quality management ability in domestic industry by having independent capability of over all construction planning, purchasing and, construction and start up management etc. To maintain our leading position of improving construction management technology based on our accumulated project management experience and technology, KHNP included construction into our ERP project in purpose of innovating construction business. We would like to discuss the characteristics of nuclear construction business, project management system, information system infrastructure and information sharing system among construction related entities, and implementation practices for information system, and consider how to resolve our practice that should be improved in this thesis.

A Study on the Effect of Reading Activities on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Public Library Employees (공공도서관 직원의 독서활동이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of reading activity of employees in public libraries on their job satisfaction and organizational commitment which was suggested by previous studies proving the relationship among the variables in the business area. The results from the survey indicate that there were significant differences in job satisfaction, satisfaction with human relationship, satisfaction of self-realization, affective commitment, and continuance commitment in terms of the frequency of participation in a book club. Additionally, the number of employees' reading books and hours spent for reading significantly influenced their job satisfaction and the hours spent for reading significantly influenced affective commitment. It was also found that participation continuity for a book club influenced on satisfaction level of social recognition, continuance commitment, and normative commitment. Job satisfaction level had a complete mediation effect between reading hours and affective commitment, and satisfaction from social recognition had a complete mediation effect between participation continuity in a reading meeting, continuance commitment, and normative commitment. Based on these results, this study suggests a plan for constructing a good environment for employees to read through introducing a reading management as follows. Firstly, managers of public libraries need to take an active interest in reading management and various programs to encourage employees to read need to be provided. Secondly, public libraries are required to encourage their employees' participation in book clubs and support them, so that the employees are able to participate in the book club consistently. Finally, institution-level consistent motivation is needed for an active reading activity.

  • Current performance evaluation of call center employees is dependent on the number of calls they have resolved, regardless of the individual and social characteristics of employees. However, since call center tasks are highly customer-oriented and emotional laborious, individual capability as well as social characteristics of employees is critical to performance. Therefore, this study analyzed the relationship between employees' individual/social characteristics and their performance. To extract individual characteristics, a repertory grid technique was employed, whereas social network analysis was conducted to extract the social characteristics of employees. Using individual and social characteristics as input variables, multiple regression was conducted to analyze the effect of each variable on performance. As a result, in-degree centrality of dining network, initiative characteristics, open characteristics, and enjoyment of studying were determined to be important variables for performance. This study is expected to be used in both performance management and human resource management of call center practices.
