  • This study investigates the relationship between human resource capacity and financial and non-financial performance. We examine the previous studies on human resources and corporate performance, the performance factors of SMEs, financial performance and non-financial performance. Based on this research, model and research hypothesis were set up. According to study result, CEO's competency influences on both of non-financial and financial performances. The period of CEO's experience in one industry positively effects on filing number of intellectual properties(IPs). Firm's basic competency positively effects on non-financial performance but has meaningless impact on financial performance. The extent of education and experience of executive managers positively influences on filling number of IPs. The extent of education and experience of R&D personnel also positively effects on technology innovation output. Executive managers specialties may influence on long term performance but are identified that those have no influence on financial performance.

  • From a phenomenological perspective on military human resources to carry out the government's "Defense Vision 2050" project, this study presents the direction of revision of the military pension along with the age and continuous retirement age system under Article 8 of the Military Personnel Act and the promotion criteria under Article 33 of the Enforcement Decree of the Military Act. The Military Personnel Act and the Enforcement Decree of the Military Personnel Act, which was created 60 years ago, are contrary to the equity of the current situation in 2022, and the conflicts continue to be drawn in terms of internal and external aspects of military human resources carrying out the "Defense Vision 2050" project, which is the keynote of the government's policy. In addition, this is linked to the national financial burden of military pension finances. Therefore, this study began with the need to revise the Military Personnel Act so that excellent human resources can continue to be introduced into a military system and perform stable duties through retirement age guarantee systems rather than class retirement.

We examined the mediating effect of ambidexterity innovation on the relationship between employee training and organizational commitment. In addition, we examined the moderating effect of organizational communication between employee training and ambidexterity innovation. The hypothesis test results are as follows. Hypothesis1. Ambidexterity innovation has been shown to partially mediate the relationship between employee training and organizational commitment. Thus, Hypothesis1 was partially supported. Hypothesis2. Organizational communication has been shown to play a positive moderating role in the relationship between employee training and ambidexterity innovation. Thus, hypothesis2 was supported. Based on the empirical results, we suggest implications for academia and practical avenues.

  • The importance of person-environment fit has been highlighted for human resources management in convergence environment. This paper was validated through a structural relationships model, the impact of person-environment fit on innovative work behavior by focusing on mediating role of positive psychological capital. Person-environment fit showed a significant effect on positive psychological capital and turnover intentions. Innovative work behavior appeared to have a mediating effect on the relationship between person-environment fit and innovative work behavior. Especially the person-environment fit itself has no direct effect on innovative work behavior, and when the awareness of the positive psychological capital is firstly formed into a person, it can increase innovative work behavior.

The data for the analysis were integrated at the company level (510 companies) and used the data of 9,053 employees collected in the 1st survey of the Human Capital Company Panel(HCCP II) of the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training(KRIVET). For corporate competitiveness, responses to 10 factors for internal process capability and customer service capability were used. • Recently innovation cluster has been emphasized as a valid policy measure for innovation. For suggesting a new model of innovation cluster, we conducted literature review for the theories of regional innovation system(RIS) and innovation clusters. As a result, the success factors of innovation cluster were classified into system measures, physical measures, and social(human resources) measures from the perspective of RIS. The case of Gyeonggi province's innovation cluster policy was examined for an empirical analysis. For an in-depth analysis, a survey for the tenant companies in Pangyo technovalley(PTV) was conducted. As a result, it was found that Gyeonggi province's innovation cluster policy is evolving from 'a government-initiated system' to 'the 3rd-generation convergence RIS' and that PTV is closely related to the system measures of 'support for up-to-date management and technology information' and 'support for academic-research-industry cooperative research and technological cooperation,' physical measures of 'strengthening the function of PTV support division' and 'shared research equipment and other infrastructures,' and social measures of 'legal, financial, and administrative support system' and 'public childcare facilities'. Also, technology sector was divided into IT and non-IT for a validity check to find out that there was no significant difference in all factors, except for the public relations factors. This study is expected to provide resources for other related researches.

  • The country with a relative abundance of human capital conducts relatively more R&D in the steady state than its partner. This country acquires the know-how to produce a relatively wider range of innovative goods. High technology comprises a large share of the national economy in the human-capital rich country and real output growth is faster. This prediction would seem to accord weakly with empirical observation of Korean economy.
