The purpose of this study is to provide an in-depth analysis on the research productivity and the research performance of the School of Biological Sciences' faculty at the S University by their co-authorships and further to identify any difference in the citedness by their co-authorships. For the years 2004-2013, a total of 1,135 publications, published by thirty-nine faculty members, were collected and their publication patterns were analyzed by co-authorships. For the years 2004-2016, the citations to the 1,135 publications were analyzed by co-authorships. Among the four co-authorship types, the total number of publications by the domestic and international co-authorships amounted to 832(73.3%), and the study also found a statistical difference in the citation performance, i.e., the average number of citations per paper by co-authorships (F =4.830, $p=0.003^{**}$).

최근 특정 주제의 지적 구조를 파악하기 위한 저자 동시인용분석, 동시단어분석, 서지결합법 등 계량정보분석에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 국내의 경우 계량정보분석 기법을 활용한 정보 유통 프레임웍을 갖추고 있는 연구기관이나 대학이 아직 없는 실정이다. 그 이유는 특허나 과학문헌에 대한 인용정보를 보유한 곳이 없고, 거대 인용정보 행렬을 계산하기 위한 컴퓨팅 자원을 확보하지 못하고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구는 미국 특허 데이터베이스를 대상으로 인용 피인용 행렬을 생성한 후, 클러스터 컴퓨터를 사용하여 동시인용과 서지결합빈도를 계산하고 그 결과를 이용자에게 제공하는 정보 유통 서비스 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

Although it has been a long subject of study why researchers prefer some cited documents to others, the existing relative researches have had a variety of perspectives on the nature and complexity of the citation behavior and not provided a complete answer to this question. In particular, Korea researchers mainly used statistical analysis of bibliographic information, which has limitations in revealing dynamic and complex cognitive aspects of the citation process. In this study, I investigate the citer perception of citing motives and bibliographic factors through survey and compared the responses according to the researchers' characteristics. After extracting the 22 motivations and 21 factors through the literature analysis and configuring a 5-point Likert scale questions, I conducted a survey in the wat of an e-mail attachment. From the SPSS 22.0, the frequency analysis, t-test, and one-way ANOVA were performed on the 354 valid samples. As a result, it is found that supporting is considered the most important citing motive and social connection, self-citation have little influence. In the case of bibliographic factors, the journal's reputation was recognized the most influential factor and the number of pages and authors was the least. Significant differences in fields of study and research careers were showed in some parts. These results can substantiate earlier studies, determine whether the factors assumed influential in selecting references were intended, and suggest the search point to the specialty library or academic database.

이 연구는 문헌정보 기반의 연구개발 기획 지원 서비스 발굴을 위해 SCI 학술지에 발표한 국내 바이오나노 분야의 논문을 인용한 논문들의 키워드를 기반으로 지식이전 행태를 분석하였다. 피인용 논문은 2004년, 2006년, 2008년에 발표한 논문 중 가장 인용빈도가 높은 바이오공정, 바이오센서, 바이오시스템 분야의 논문들을 대상으로 하였다. 인용한 논문들의 키워드 분석 결과, 바이오공정 분야는 바이오센서와 환경관련 분야로, 바이오센서 분야는 후각센서응용 분야와 면역증강응용 분야로, 바이오시스템 분야는 약물전달 및 암 진단 분야로 지식이 이전되었다.

학제적 분야는 다양한 주제범주의 자료를 이용하는 특성이 존재하기 때문에 대학도서관이나 전문도서관에서는 학제적 분야에 대한 새로운 학술지 관리방안이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 SCIE 논문을 발표한 국내 연구자들의 인용패턴을 바탕으로 저널 인용분석과 학제성 분석을 실시하여 학제적 분야의 학술지 관리 방안을 도출하였다. 본 연구를 통해 인용률 기반의 학제성 분석이 기존의 인용빈도를 바탕으로 한 방법과 함께 학제적 분야의 학술지를 관리하는 데 있어 유용함을 확인하였다.

Evaluating contents and quality of the journal along with the research ability of researcher is becoming an important issue recently. This research compared level of impact of the journals related to statistics in nation, 'Journal of the Korean Data & Information Science Society'-centric, using various KCI citation index. Moreover, this research surveyed network between the journals in the aspect of social network analysis, using co-citation frequency. From that, the following conclusions were drawn. First, percentage of self-citation was relatively high. Second, even though Statistics journal had higher impact index than the mathematics, physics and chemistry, frequency of citing statistics journal in other journals was not that high. Third, 'Journal of the Korean Data & Information Science Society' serves central role in network analysis, however it seems that more efforts are required.

인용을 통한 연구성과 지표인 h-지수는 2005년에 제안된 이후 공식의 간단명료함, 용이한 산출 방법, 지수의 강건성 등이 인정되면서 계량정보학 분야를 비롯한 학술 공동체의 활발한 후속 논의가 이례적으로 신속하게 이어지고 있다. 후속 연구는 주로 h-지수의 타당성 검토, h-지수를 이용한 특정 분야의 개인성과 측정 시도, h-지수의 타 영역에의 응용, h-지수의 보완 등을 주제로 전개되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 우선 h-지수와 이를 보완한 g-지수를 비롯한 변형 지수에 대해서 현재까지 전개되고 있는 논의를 살펴보았다. 그리고 인용빈도가 높지 않은 경우를 고려하여 개선한 지수를 제안하고 실험적인 측정을 시도하였다.

This study identifies the characteristics of recent citation-based indicators for assessing a single paper in the context of their co-relationships. Five predefined indicators were examined with three variants of h-index which are convened in this study; the formers are PageRank, SCEAS Rank, CCI, f-value, and single paper h-index and the latters are $h_S$-index, h1-index, and $h_S$1-index. The correlation analysis and cluster analysis were performed to group the indicators by common characteristics, after which the indicators were calculated with the dataset from KSCI DB. The results show statistical evidence that distinguishes h-index type indicators from others. The characteristics of the indicators were verified with citation frequency factors using correlation analysis. Finally, the implications for applications and further studies are discussed.

본 연구는 최근에 발표된 단위 논문별 영향력을 예측하기 위해 해당 저자가 이전에 발표했던 논문들의 년도별 피인용 추이를 분석하였다. 최근 IF가 가장 높은 "Cell & Tissue Engineering" 분야와 그 분야에서 IF가 가장 높은 저널 "Stem Cell"을 선정하여 최근에 실린 논문의 저자정보를 파악하고, 해당 저자의 이전에 발표한 논문들을 추출하였다. 분석 결과, 저자가 발표한 논문들이 최근에 인용이 많이 일어나면 이후 발표한 논문의 인용빈도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 동일한 h-index를 가진 저자들 간의 비교에서 더욱 두드러지게 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the correlation between the appearance frequency of author keyword and the number of citation in journal articles. In this study, we were trying to develop a methodology that can select the term having semantic relation with other terms and higher utilization to build a structured scientific glossary. In order to achieve this purpose, we analyzed the number of citation and the author keyword of the humanities and social science journal articles of the Korea Citation Index (KCI) from 2007 to 2011. This study found a correlation between appearance frequency of author keyword and the number of citation of the journal articles, with higher appearance frequency of author keyword of the journal articles being more cited.
