This study was conducted to provide implications so that teachers' voices are heard in the social consensus for future schools by exploring teachers' needs for future school spaces. A qualitative study was performed to listen to teachers' voices directly, and 10 teachers from "A" Elementary School (tentative name) participated in the study. The study 1) recognized the emergence of learning that transcends time and space, and emphasized the importance of an ICT-based informatization environment that can support such learning, 2) confirmed the characteristics of futuristic school spaces centered on "tradition" and "technology," 3) recognized the importance of learning community spaces, 4) emphasized "variable" classrooms for flexible teaching and learning activities, and 5) confirmed the need to introduce eco-friendly elements and provide support for those who may be vulnerable in high-tech learning environments. Finally, the study concluded that teachers need systematic education and experiences that contain sufficient important discourses related to future schools such as "eco-friendliness" and "connection with local communities".

This study focuses on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) as a theoretical perspective to provide education that enables adolescent students to understand themselves, establish healthy relationships with others, and form a healthy community. The meaning of learning and core competencies were analyzed. Results showed that the core competencies of SEL were all included in the nature, goals, subject competencies, core concepts, generalized knowledge, and achievement standards of the 2015 revised Home Economics Education (HEE) Curriculum. The implications for this are: First, the core competencies of SEL can be sufficiently cultivated through explicit education in HE classes without introducing a separate SEL program in the school field. Second, since HEE is a subject that emphasizes practice, the competencies of SEL can be applied in connection with actual life outside of school. Lastly, the effectiveness of SEL can be increased through HEE because the goals of SEL, which emphasize the connection between parents and the creation of healthy and safe community, are similar to the goals of HEE.

As the ownership of pets has steadily increased in recent years, the need for an effective pet management system has grown. In this study, we propose a pet management system with a deep learning-based emotion recognition SNS. The system detects emotions through pet facial expressions using a convolutional neural network (CNN) and shares them with a user community through SNS. Through SNS, pet owners can connect with other users, share their experiences, and receive support and advice for pet management. Additionally, the system provides comprehensive pet management, including tracking pet health and vaccination and reservation reminders. Furthermore, we added a function to manage and share pet walking records so that pet owners can share their walking experiences with other users. This study demonstrates the potential of utilizing AI technology to improve pet management systems and enhance the well-being of pets and their owners.

This study examines the changes in learners' positive/negative perceptions of classroom experience and actual utilisation of AI chatbots in response to the recent changes in education trends caused by generative AI. AI chatbots were utilised in web programming classes for six classes of engineering students over two semesters. The learners' experience and usage were analysed from the beginning of the semester through surveys until the submission of midterm and final examination reports. The study's results indicate that the chatbot enhanced learning by providing Q/A feedback and solving practical problems. Additionally, the perception of the chatbot improved from midterm to the end of the course. The study also drew meaningful conclusions about the issue of community disconnection (personalisation) in the classroom and how to use it as educational software. This research is significant for the development of generative AI-based software.

Rapidly increasing internet use has brought beneficial development in many aspect and provide us with abundance and comfort as well as enhancement of quality of life. But Cyber space is giving rise to some negative result such as violence and delinquent conduct. It bring about more serious social problems than real life. We try to provide the desirable direction for Internet ethics by mobile SNS. SNS has not only economical values but also social communication toll to exchange and share views of specific issues with other users. Social influential and personal emotion factor is a factor of community relation. Thus SNS contribute to self-construction, interpersonal relations and public sphere. This internet ethics of mobile Era will makes people recognize the correct internet ethics information and do it, suggest the solution for interpersonal internet environment.

This study suggested a knowledge theory, theoretical framework and general principles in methodologies for library and information science by theoretically weighing domain analysis. The central concept to domain analysis are a subject knowledge constituting the domain and a discourse communities to share their knowledge. Therefore the study described a definition of domain and explained domain in ontological, epistemological, and sociological dimensions, proposed eleven approaches available in domain analysis. And the study argued the implications of domain analysis for library and information in position of socio-cognitive view and pragmatic realism.

The purpose of this research is to suggest the direction of using blog in e-PBL. In this research we used blog for supporting individual self-regulated learning activity. We distributed space for individual learning and collaborative learning by using blog and community. 39 students participated during the 16 weeks, which includes 8 weeks of traditional e-PBL and 8 weeks of Blog based e-PBL. We conducted questionnaires and interviews, and analyzed learners' reflection notes. Data show learners feel comfortable with using blog in their independent learning activity. And blog activated learners' reflective activity and motivated their self-regulated learning.

The purpose of this study for coming up with vitalization methods of small libraries by attracting corporate donations, in order to overcome inferior financial circumstances of small libraries in daily life that play a role community centers in regional communities. For this, a frequency analysis was conducted in order to examine various circumstances and cognitions regarding library donations from 100 corporations that made donations during the past year. Also, a cross-tabulation analysis was studied to identify factors that influence donations.

This study investigates the usage behavior and the perception of horticulturalists (horticultural activists) and simple users for urban community gardens. To this end, we surveyed 100 horticulturalists and 213 simple users. Questions in the survey are divided into five categories: 1) usage behavior of community gardens, 2) perception on the benefits of community gardens, 3) perception on the pros and cons of setting up community gardens, 4) willingness to pay for community gardens, 5) importance of specific benefits provided by community gardens. According to the survey, 95.0 percent of horticulturalists and 93.4 percent of simple users supported setting up community gardens. 58.0 percent of horticulturalists and 60.6 percent of simple users were willing to pay their residence tax for community gardens. And the annual membership fee plus resident tax of horticulturalists is 460,455 KW per person, which is 80.6 times more than willingness to pay of simple users. The results of this study can be used as basis data for valuing community gardens.

본 연구는 2010년 전국 정보과학기술(IT) 영재교육을 위한 학생 선발 과정을 중심으로 과거의 선발 과정과 차이점을 비교해보고, 정보과학기술에 관심이 있는 교육생을 대상으로 모집된 결과로 부터 성별, 지역별, 학교별 분포를 분석하였다. 분석결과에서 남학생과 여학생의 비율이 1 : 0.29로 나타났는데 이는 남학생보다, 여학생이 정보과학기술을 접하기 어려운 분야로 인식하고 있다는 것이다. 두 번째로, 지역별 분포비율을 조사한 결과 부산지역이 가장 많은 관심 비율을 보이고 있었는데, 이는 부산에 한국과학영재학교를 비롯한 부산광역시 교육청 산하 정보영재교육원과 같은 정보영재교육의 참여도가 많은 학생들이 지원한 것으로 보인다. 세번째, 중학생과 고등학생의 비율을 분석한 결과 중학생이 고등학생보다 약간 우위를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 좀 더 일찍 자신의 적성에 적합한 영재교육의 혜택을 경험해보기 위해서이며, 학업의 내용이 학교 교과과정에만 관심이 있는 것이 아니라, 자기계발을 위한 학부모와 학생들에 관심이 높아지고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 국가적 IT 브랜드의 위상이 높아지고 IT의 발전이 학생들에게 많은 영향을 주었다고 본 연구에서는 판단된다. 정보과학기술 영재교육의 학생 선발 방식이 새롭게 전환되면서 무엇보다도 전국의 많은 학생들이 IT영재교육원의 교육 혜택을 받게 되었다는 점과, 많은 학생들이 온라인 교육을 통해서 소셜 커뮤니티를 형성하여 창의력과 자기계발 잠재력을 키울 수 있는 계기가 되었다는 점에서 큰 의미가 있다고 할 수 있다.
