In this paper, we developed the application for measure an area that it compute a space coordinate of real object to represent through a camera by using the Orientation sensor of smart devices. The application will help to solve a problems of an epistemological obstacles in an area learning. We conducted an expert evaluation for the application of educative usability, educative effect and etc.. The expert group was comprised of elementary school teacher who teach curriculum of an area in mathematics. In result, it was positively evaluated in terms of educative usability.

Many research papers on the college students' functional concept show they have poor understanding on this topic. To compare the results with that of Korean students, four interrelated topics are chosen: How do they understand the concept of function?; what are their misconceptions including epistemological obstacles?; How do the function concepts develop and are acquired? For this a survey has been conducted to 95 engineering students just before they start Calculus course. We have done research on other major areas including psychology, economics and statistics to see how function is defined in these areas. Function definitions from US math text books are also introduced. Based on the these and the survey, some suggestions are made on the new curriculum which treat function as a correspondence relation. Vertical line test should be added to the Algebra II/Pre calculus course to check the univalent property.

Objectives: Insomnia is not only the most common sleep-related disorder, but also is one of the most important. Knowledge of the comorbidities of insomnia is essential for proper treatment including pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods to prevent disease chronification. This study aimed to determine sleep clinic patients' knowledge of insomnia. Methods: This study recruited 44 patients (24 males and 20 females; mean age $54.11{\pm}16.30years$) from the sleep clinic at National Center for Mental Health. All subjects were asked to complete a self-report questionnaire about their reasons for visiting a sleep clinic and about their knowledge of treatment and comorbidities of insomnia. Results: The reasons for visiting the sleep clinic were insomnia symptoms of daytime sleepiness, irregular sleeping time, nightmares, snoring, and sleep apnea, in that order. Of the responders, 72.7% had a comorbidity of insomnia, and 22.7% showed high-risk alcohol use. In addition, 70.5% of responders chose pharmacological treatment of insomnia as the first option and reported collection of information about treatment of insomnia mainly from the internet and medical staff. More than half (52.3%) of the respondents reported that they had never heard about non-pharmacological treatments of insomnia such as cognitive behavioral treatment (CBT-I) or light therapy. The response rate about comorbidities of varied, with 75% of responders reporting knowledge of the relation between insomnia and depression, but only 38.6% stating awareness of the relation between insomnia and alcohol use disorder. Of the total responders, 68.2% were worried about hypnotics for insomnia treatment, and 70% were concerned about drug dependence. Conclusion: This study showed that patients at a sleep clinic had limited knowledge about insomnia. It is necessary to develop standardized insomnia treatment guidelines and educational handbooks for those suffering from insomnia. In addition, evaluation of alcohol use disorders is essential in the initial assessment of sleep disorders.

The era of Web 2.0, which is the web environment that offers end user oriented web platform, has arrived. Moreover, as the interest in UCC (User Created Contents) environment increases, it is a fact that the involvement of the users in multimedia contents is increasing rapidly. When the aim of Web 2.0, i.e. active involvement of the user, is considered, the necessity and the understanding about accessibility problem of the people who have difficulties about accessing web information, such as elderly and visually handicapped people, is increasing as well. This research analyzes the problems of virtually handicapped users to access web-based UCC services, and proposes an efficient implementation plan for a web-based UCC service that enables smooth access for them. Especially, the validity of the proposed method was verified by comparing the reaction time of the visually handicapped users with that when using the existing UCC services, through the implementation of the test page according to the plan proposed in this research.

Objectives: REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD) has received little attention in epidemiologic studies. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of probable REM sleep behavior disorder (pRBD) in the elderly population and its clinical features. Methods: A random sample of 1,588 was selected from a roster of 14,050 elderly population living in Osan city. The subjects were asked to fill out the REM sleep behavior disorder screening questionnaire (RBDSQ). Subjects whose score were 5 or higher on RBDSQ underwent a diagnostic phase of person-to-person assessment by experts in RBD. Results: Among 1,588 subjects, 886 elderly subjects participated in the screening phase and 123 subjects were assessed in the diagnostic phase. Eleven subjects were diagnosed as having pRBD, so prevalence was 1.5% (95% CI=0.70-2.30%). The frequency of depression and cognitive decline was significantly increased in patients with pRBD compared to subjects without pRBD, and there was no difference in sleep disturbances between two groups. Conclusions: Probable REM sleep behavior disorder is not rare in the elderly but frequently under-recognized. More attention should be paid to evaluation and treatment of RBD.

No proper system exists for private investment projects, and efficient project management is not being achieved due to entanglements of management. Recognizing these circumstances, this paper has diagnosed the hard facts that project management organizations and systems are facing, and presented solutions to the factors that are obstructing the establishment of efficient project management system. This paper carried out focus group interviews on the experts who had participated in the Incheon International Airport Railway construction project, using the methodology of an exploratory case study. The results were systematically analyzed according to organizational behavior and causes corresponding to each of the problems were deduced. Private investment projects were divided into task environments and project organizations based on social science methodology and analyzed, and a final improvement plan for each participating organization was presented. An improvement plan was presented, and it was compared with the case study of Incheon bridge construction project, which is recognized as a model of successful project management, and its appropriateness evaluated.

This study attempts to examine standards on the effectiveness of the rights to social security of people with disability. The current research makes the standards on effectiveness of social security rights to the disabled. This standards draw four right areas and five general principles from debates about effectiveness of general social security rights and extend for applying three social area to the disabled. Four right areas are benefit coverage, benefit structure, benefit restriction and rights relief. Five general principles are enforceable rule principle, national finance principle, unconditional principle, adequacy principle and penalties principle. These four right areas and five general principles apply to three social security areas of income support, employment security and medical security. Measurement values are 'high' and 'low'. These measurement values divided into two that are used to ensure same intervals. This study on standards to the effectiveness of the rights to social security of people with disability has political and theoretical implications. First, in political aspects, these standards provide objective understanding of the present level of social security policies for the disabled. Second, theoretically the current study expands debates about the effectiveness of general social security through multi-disciplined research. At once this study is significant to establish empirical research foundation.

Recently, many studies extracting the geography information using digital aerial image have been implemented. But it is very difficult that automatically recognizing objects using edge detection method on the aerial image, and so that work have practiced manually or semi-automatically. Therefore, in this study, we have removed impedimental elements for recognition using the image which overlapped the significant information bands of brightness-sliced aerial images, then have developed the algorithm which can automatically recognize and extract road information and we will try to apply that method when we develope a system. For this, first of all, we have developed the 'template conformal-transformation moving operator' for automatically recognizing crosswalk area from crosswalk band image and the 'window normal search algorithm' which is able to track road area based on long-side length of crosswalk, so that we have proposed the method that can extract directly the road information from the aerial image.

Objectives : Since the awareness of autism spectrum disorders(ASD) is growing, as a result, it is increasing numbers of infants and toddlers being referred to specialized clinics for a differential diagnosis and the importance of early autism spectrum disorders detection is emphasized. This study is to know the difference between ASD and intellectual disability(ID) from comparison of the demographics, clinical characters and obstetric complications. Methods : The participants are 816 toddlers who visited the developmental delay clinic(DDC) in National Health Insurance Ilsan hospital. The number of toddlers diagnosed as ASD and ID was 324 and 492. 75 toddlers out of 114 who returned to DDC were diagnosed as ID at the first visit but 7 of them had changed diagnosis to ASD at the second visit. After compared ASD with ID from the first visit, we analyzed characters of toddlers who had the changed diagnosis to ASD at the second visit. Results : As a result, the comparison between ASD and ID at the first visit shows that the boys have higher ratio, lower obstetric complication and lower language assessment score in ASD. The toddlers who had the changed diagnosis at the second visit were all boys and they had more cases of family history of developmental delay and had lower score of receptive language developmental quotient. Conclusions : These findings suggest that sex, language characteristics and obstetric complication could be useful in the early detection of ASD.

In spite of decreased attention to digital divide, it has been pointed out as one of the main obstacles to realization of information society. At the outset, two conflicting explanations, optimism and pessimism, have directed their attention to objective basis of digital divide in common. They, however, have been neglected the fact that accessibilities can be varied not only by objective conditions but by subjective conditions such as individual recognition of necessity and willingness. Subsequent choices can be a crucial factor to determine whether to or not to access. In USA, over 50% of potential users determined not to access to the internet by their own will and choices. By the user survey on internet, 'do not feel the necessity' ranked the first reason not to use the internet in South Korea. The respondents who chose 'no time to use' tend to decrease but kept holding their shares, too. The relative importance of 'not to access' by individual choice have been increased. Whether the non-users of ICTs by choice is in or beyond the scope of digital divide, it evidently shows the necessity and importance of directing our attention to it on the way to information society.
