Direct volume rendering (DVR) is a commonly used method to visualize inner structures in 3D volumetric datasets. However, conventional volume rendering on a 2D display lacks depth perception due to dimensionality reduction caused by ray casting. In this work, we investigate how emerging Virtual Reality (VR) can improve the usability of direct volume rendering. We developed real-time high-resolution DVR system in virtual reality, and measures the usefulness of volume rendering with improved depth perception via a user study conducted by 38 participants. The result indicates that virtual reality significantly improves the usability of DVR by allowing better depth perception.

This study examined the sub - dimensions of mobile food platform service characteristics and verified how they affect the usability, usability and re - use intention. The data collection is from February 11, 2019 to February 28, 2019. The researcher visited the food service company and presented the questionnaire by direct interview. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows. First, the ubiquitous connectivity and interactivity of the mobile eater platform service have a significant effect on ease of use, but the situational awareness has no significant effect. Second, ubiquitous connectivity, situational awareness, and interactivity have a significant effect on usability, and ease of use has a significant effect on usability. Third, ubiquitous connectivity has a significant effect on re - use intention, and situational awareness and interactivity have a significant effect on re - use intention. Fourth, ease of use has no significant effect on re-use intention, but usefulness has a significant effect on re-use intention.

In this study, we investigate the usefulness of the measures of the 2008 Korean Public Library Operation Assessment as perceived by librarians in practice using a survey. The survey was answered by librarians in large, medium, and small-sized libraries managed by local autonomous bodies and in large-sized libraries that belong to local education authorities. The survey results show that whereas the usefulness of items was higher in planning area and those items that can be easily counted, and usefulness of items in human resources and facilities was lower. There are no significant results in differences by library size and by the characteristics of librarians. Based on the results, we suggest a direction for the improvement of the Korean Public Library Operation Assessment.

This empirical study is on the factors that influence college students'intention of using online communities by focusing on the social influence, online community identification and attitude toward using online community, and the perceived usefulness. The results of this study are as follows. First, the most popular online community site is Cyworld, and was found to provide additional services like cafes, blogs, facebook, etc. Second, the social influence in the proposed model has been classified as a subjective norm, perceived usefulness of social influence has been identified as a significant variable, and online community identification of subjective norm was significant. Third, the model configuration in a path relationship between the variables, the indirect effect of online community identification and perceived usefulness affect usage intention of online communities was larger than a direct effect. Therefore, in order to increase the usage intention of online communities, online community identification and perceived usefulness, as well as by attitude toward using online community need to be considered as ways to improve were identified.

The purpose of this study is to explain intention to use untact medical diagnosis and consultation services. There is a need for untact medical diagnosis and consultation services in order to increase social interests and a global trend for public protection and convenience enhancement. We carry out the analysis of the survey data using Smart PLS 3.0 to test the hypotheses. According to the empirical analysis results, this study confirms that health consciousness have significant effects on the cost saving, quality of telemedicine service and self-efficacy have significant effects on the accessibility, compatibility. cost saving, quality of telemedicine service, accessibility and compatibility have significant effects on Perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness have significant effects on use Intention of untact medical diagnosis and consultation services. This study has its meaning because it found out that it deals structurally and expansively with use intention through Expected Benefit and usefulness based on individual characteristics for untact medical diagnosis and consultation services. In addition, The results of this study suggest that if the related policies are institutionalized based on the Expected Benefits covered in this study, the perception of untact medical diagnosis and consultation services can be changed progressively.

본 논문은 생체측정학(Biometrics)중 홍채의 패턴을 이용하는 것으로, 사람의 홍채는 태어날 때 한번 정해지면 평생 변화하지 않으며, 개개인별로 모양이 모두 다른 것으로 알려져 있다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 홍채영상 취득시 조명에 의한 동공의 크기 변화에 민감하지 않은 2차원의 홍채패턴을 취득하고, 2D Gabor 필터와 48개의 분할된 섹터로부터 특징값을 추출한다. 또한, 인식과정에서는 correlation 계수를 이용하여 서로 다른 홍채의 특징값에 대해 유사도를 측정하고 가장 큰 값을 갖는 사람을 찾게 되는데, 이때, 3개의 필터를 거쳐 얻어진 영상에 대해 최고의 값을 인식 대상자로 인정하므로 오인식 될 확률을 최소화 할 수 있다. 제안한 알고리듬의 유용성을 확인하기 위해 남성과 여성 대상자 10명의 왼쪽 눈에 대해 5회 촬영하여 데이터베이스 구축 후, 실험한 결과 90%이상의 높은 인식률을 얻음으로 제안한 알고리듬의 유용성을 확인할 수 있다.

최근 동작 및 행동 인식에 대한 연구가 활발하다. 특히, 센서가 소형화되고 저렴해지면서 그 활용을 위한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 기존의 많은 행동 인식 연구에서 사용되어 온 정적 분류 기술 기반 동작 인식 방법은 연속적인 데이터 분류 기술에 비해 유연성 및 활용성이 부족할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 연속적인 데이터의 패턴 분류 및 인식에 효과적인 확률적 추론 기법인 은닉 마르코프 모델(Hidden Markov Model)과 사전 지식 없이도 자동 학습이 가능하며 의미 깊은 궤적 패턴을 클러스터링하고 효과적인 양자화가 가능한 자기구성지도(Self Organizing Map)를 이용한 동작 인식 기술을 소개한다. 또한, 그 유용성을 입증하기 위해 실제 가속도 센서를 이용하여 다양한 동작에 대한 데이터를 수집하고 분류 성능을 분석 및 평가한다. 실험에서는 실제 가속도 센서를 통해 수집된 숫자를 그리는 동작의 성능 평가 결과를 보이고, 행동 인식기 별 성능과 전체 인식기별 성능을 비교한다.

패턴인식 문제를 다루는 연구에서 인식 성능을 향상시키고자 베이스 에러율의 상한인 조건부 엔트로피를 응용하는 시도가 있었다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 인식기로 구성된 다수 인식기 시스템이 우수한 성능을 보이도록 인식기의 집합을 결정하는 문제에서 이러한 조건부 엔트로피의 최소화를 통하여 시도한 방법과 다른 방법들을 간단하고 분명한 예제를 통하여 비교, 분석해 보았다. 다수 인식기의 결합 방법으로 대표적인 투표 기법과 조건부 독립 가정의 베이지안 기법을 사용하였으며, 조건부 엔트로피의 최소화를 통하여 인식기의 집합을 결정하는 방법에 대한 유용성을 확인할 수 있었다.

최근 들어 인간의 의지를 컴퓨터에 전달하기 위한 수단으로 컴퓨터 시각기반 방식으로 제스처를 인식하고자 하는 연구가 널리 진행되고 있다. 제스처 인식에서 가장 중요한 문제는 실시간 처리로 알고리즘의 단순화와 처리시간의 감소이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 본 연구에서는 기하학적 집합론에 근거하고 있는 수학적 형태론을 적용하였다. 형태론적 형상분해를 적용하여 얻은 손짓 형상의 원시형상 요소들의 방향성은 손짓에 관한 중요한 정보를 내포하고 있으며 이러한 특징에 근거하여 본 연구에서는 주 원시형상 요소와 부 원시형상원소의 중심점을 연결하는 직선으로부터 특징벡터를 이용한 형태론적 제스처 인식 알고리즘을 제안하고 실험을 통하여 그 유용성을 증명한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of Logistic Information System on performance by efficiency of internal operation and organizational innovation. The results of this study as follows : The characteristic variable evaluation model that extended from the performance(user's value, perceived usefulness) of Logistic Information System were verified meaningfully. In this study, the efficiency of internal operation and organizational innovation were very important factor, to analyze the effects of Logistic Information System on performance. This study expect that Logistic Information System will achieve their Logistic Information System competitiveness through continuous quality measurement and improvement to increase the performance.
