With the development and supply of digital displayers, there has been a heightened interest of late in digital photo frames, eclipsing the existing print frames. This digital photo frame was developed into a new LCD digital photo frame that can be used not only for data display but also as a surveillance monitoring equipment when combined with a CCD camera. The developed photo frame uses a one-way communication encryption method that replaces the existing two-way communication encryption method to ensure the security of the surveillance image data. This method uses the chaotic signal's one-way synchronization phenomenon, where synchronization is made for a certain amount of time, after which the synchronized data can be encrypted and decoded at any point. It can yield the same results as the two-way communication encryption method. Moreover, if the proposed method is applied to the close-range communication methods of ubiquitous devices, it will be able to obtain more efficient results.

Black and white TV design process at early electronics industry can help greatly in strategy of forward product development or production and marketing. Because, there is history about existed all product to precess that progress. Past information make good use that estimate of new design. According to character of product, advertisement and business strategies are available some extension of life cycle or preservation. But, it is need the data accumulated with correct analysis for ability that competitive power of the product. Data of Past information take advantage of well information is essential. Information about past products arranged pamphlet and newspaper advertisement. At this study emphasized on console model TV and portable style TV design change process of technology ability from 1960s to 1980s about product selling point. Creation and extinction about products can get into iteration to other household electric appliance. Design process of past product design has a history with our international location or influence power of household electric appliance. Therefore, such past flowing can important role as basis of forward product design.

In the face of rapidly changing society and consumer cognition, eyer-increasing importance of strategies for creating good images for a company among critical factors inf1uencing management in terms of its survive is prevalent. Today, many companies strive for getting or improving their images with advertisements for corporate identity as well as public advertisements, which is considered as a requirement of this society and age for good images of companies rather for only good products and services. In this study, we analyzed and compared the largest companies in Korea, mainly in their printed materials for advertisements over the last 10 years from 1990. Corporate advertisements performed by domestic companies could be classified into several types based on their theoretical backgrounds and creative concepts. Basic theoretical backgrounds of corporate advertisements induced in the study are recognitive-psychological model and associative learning model. And, six areas of cases were classified and analysed in terms of their such creative concepts as random difference, competitive advantage and specific creativity. We analyzed and compared cases of strategies for domestic corporate advertisements with reference to these six each area in their effects and problems in terms of theoretical and practical aspects and thereby purpose to provide companies with reference in developing strategies for corporate advertisements of companies.

The purpose of the present study is to verify the two hypotheses: (1) Online services are fundamentally automated versions of the reference services. Accordingly there will be a major impact on reference services when Online service is introduced into the traditional library environment. The chief impact will be that the use of data bases retrieval service supplements and improves the traditional reference service when Online service is coordinated with the traditional reference service. and is fully incorporated into the existing user service areas. (2) The availability of data bases retrieval service will make it possible for the first time for the reference services to offer substantial search services of any kind resources limited to the printed sources. In light of such circumstances, libraries would provide better service to their users and greatly increase the productivity of reference librarians. There will be also the recognition that a result of an improved professional image for reference librarians and the library heightens user interest. This change may be translated into increased usage of library services generally. To achieve the purpose, 4 Research Libraries adopted Online retrieval from DIALOG's data bases-searching and reference services available in-house were chosen.

The Fixed book price policy, a portion of publication and printing promotion act applied from February 2003 in the South Korea, is a system of fixed book prices that administered by a government body. The publishing industries had been attempted to lower the discount rate and to extend the application scope. The amendment for the attempts was passed in April 2014, and implemented from November 2014. From the library point of view, this amendment caused a reduction of buying library materials. For this reason, the agenda about expansion of material budget in libraries has been recognized as the alternative. The purpose of this study is to analyze the stance and role of libraries as actors in the policy process. Based on this, this study also attempt to identify usefulness and improvement point of Policy Network Model. For this purpose, this study identifies actor's internal characteristics as an improvement point that previous studies did not identified.

This case study analyzed how electronic journal subscription had an effect on special library management including budget, information behavior, library operations, facilities, space et al. in KIST. This study suggests the followings; 1) Since electronic journals has an effect on overall operations of special libraries, draw big pictures not by functions. 2) Though the most method for subscription is consortium, it is necessary to build cooperation network for information sharing and vary cost architecture of information use. 3) Through job analysis, redesign jobs. 4) Reconstruct stacks and facilities. 5) It is necessary paradigm shift that it is more important to use than preserve materials in the special libraries.

Although design industry belongs to one of the creative industries and contributes significantly to urban cultural economy based on its cluster formation, researches on design industry are rarely made explicit from the perspective of creative industry cluster. After reviewing the life cycle of design industry clusters in Euljiro and Hongdae Area in Seoul, this study compares these two clusters with respect of diverse dimensions of creative industry cluster such as agglomeration economy, spin-off activities and institutional environments. Research methodology includes the analysis of ?Seoul Business Statistics? and the in-depth interviews with 14 professional designers. The result shows that design industry cluster in Euljiro is close to the traditional industry cluster mainly dependent on printing industry with very limited impact on urban economy, while Hongdae Area develops creative industry cluster by virtue of university spin-offs, art markets, hybrid cultural consumption spaces and the active participation of designers contributing to urban economy in diverse ways. This comparative analysis highlights the importance of various environmental components to encourage creative activities in developing the creative industry cluster.

Collection development policies(CDP) are becoming increasingly important to libraries of all types and sizes. The paper addresses the elements to develop a collection development policy to guide the librarians for the science and technology information resources. Instead of focusing on how well a given item fits into or supports the collection, the policy gives general guidance on the selection of information resources. The general collection development guidelines for the information resources include relevance and potential use of the information, demand for the information, ease of use of the product, subject and magnitudes, stability of the coverage of the resource, longevity of the information and evaluation mechanism.

Recently, rapidly increasing internet Websites are providing us with the new kinds of multimedia informations without borders acting as the center for exchanging informations. Such new media informations through the internet passes informations via light on the monitor and provides the various informations, with the differentiation from the traditional printing media, it can be searched with electronic commands in limited space. In the process of adapting the new technologies, new media has successfully responded to the fast change and the development of its needs by experiencing the trials and errors, steadily establishing the stable position with its new information transferring and exchanging methods. The representative hompage of websites of information transformations means the first page containing no lower directories and consist of titles, icons, symbols and addresses and can design them in consideration of graphical process, planning, contents and others. Such hompages are very important since the graphical images shows its visual expressions deciding the total meanings of the hompages. In this research, we have analyzed the visual factors of frequencies, ratio of areas, distributions, alignment methodologies on layouts of hompages consisting titles, icons, contents and symbols, etc. from randomly picked samples of 161 hompages of websites in the internets of various areas. Generally, the homepages are designed with graphical expressions in personal way and the feedbacks and responses of such may differs, but we think, this can be used as reference materials for the analysis of new media in objective way. Also, it can be used as the base informations for arrangement and planning of designs with the characteristics of graphics and Graphic User Interfaces in the background which are implemented over internet.

The purpose of this study is to analyze undergraduate nursing students' electronic document use and reading behavior. To do this, a survey questionnaire was collected from 509 respondents who experienced reading behavior for the last semester. The results of this study show that nursing students' preference of electronic documents is higher than that of printed documents in general. They also prefer electronic documents to printed documents when they want to keep documents. Of respondents, about 94% or higher spent 30mins or more to find information and the main source to find information is 'Naver' search engine as the highest information source, and the place to access information is 'Home' as their highest information access location. In particular, the preference of the document 'on the move' is electronic documents and the main reason includes convenience and easiness to access and move the documents. The findings of this study expect to facilitate the understanding of undergraduate nursing students electronic document use and reading behavior so that it can be used to design and develop medical digital library services and tools more effectively and efficiently in medical area in the future. Furthermore, it expects to provide useful data in promoting user services in digital library in a whole.
