This study examines university students' awareness and preparedness for anticipated social problems of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and deteremines if there exist differences between gender, major fields of study and school years of students. Based on surveys with 122 university students in Seoul, students majoring in technology-engineering showed more positive outlook than students majoring in humanity-social science. Female students and humanity-social science students showed higher levels of concerns with social problems than male and technology-engineering students. More than three out of five students anticipated that they will experience the influence of the Fourth Industrial Revolution within the next five years. Two out of five students assessed their preparedness to be inadequate. Given the overarching social influence, it is necessary to develop convergent education of technology and social science that raises students' understanding and preparedness without differences in major fields of study and gender for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the classes of humanities and social sciences in the public health curricula. Methods: Data were collected through online received from 329 public health curricula from July to August, 2014. The data were analyzed by a descriptive analyses and ${\chi}^2$-test(SPSS 12.0). Results: As a result of evaluate the classes of humanities and social sciences in the public health curriculum, 86.0% of department of occupational therapy, 71.4% of department of radiological technology and 72.6% of department of dental hygiene established more 4 classes. 92.1% of department physical therapy and 64.9% of department medical technology established more 5 credits. Numbers and credits of courses showed no differences by educational system. Conclusions: Humanities and social sciences are not popularly introduced in the most departments of public health sciences. Humanities and social sciences are very important and necessary for training competent future professionals in the public health sciences. So this study will provide the basic data for the introduction of humanities and social sciences in the public health curricula.
This study aims to suggest a new evaluating system for academic books in the field of humanities and social sciences in Korea. The data comprised the evaluating systems for researchers' academic achievements at 27 Korean and overseas universities, and questionnaire from researchers. The findings showed that academic books were rated higher twice than articles in Korean universities with various criteria. Universities in the US had no standardized systems, but publishers evaluated academic books. The UK and France had authorized organizations, REF and HCERHE, to evaluate researchers' products, whereas, in Japan, departments evaluated them without fixed systems. About 84% of Korean researchers preferred external evaluation on academic books. It is proposed to establish associations' evaluation, 'more than 200 pages and ISBN', and qualitative approach. 200-600 points can be given on books in the correlation of universities, associations, and Korea Research Foundation.

To prepare for and implement policies for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is characterized by convergence, super-connectivity, and AI, this study summarized the effects and characteristics of individual technologies on our society and discussed the issues with humanity and social science perspectives. As a result, in terms of AI technology, the issues of job losses, project-type works, basic income and robot taxes, accountability of AI, and algorithm inequality were dealt with. Security, cyber hacking and privacy infringement issues were highlighted in big-data technology. In the part of block-chain and bioengineering, the society of decentralization, the concentration, digital divide, and ethical issues were discussed. On-demand economic aspects highlighted the problems of civil ethics and human commercialization. Lastly, the development of VR is discussed including side effects such as cyber-syndrom, avoidance of reality, and so on.

The purpose of this study is to devise a classification scheme to arrange the agricultural information efficiently. In the first part it defines the agricultural science and studies the content and system of the agricultural science. It compares current KDC with DDC, UDC and NDC used to agriculture parts, and it studies AGRICOLA SCC. On the basis of it, this study is displayed the new classification for the agricultural science. The new classification scheme Is classified by the basic theories related to agriculture, agriculture of plants, animal agriculture, food products, and auxiliary disciplines in turn. The number of main divisions are set up 23 items.
I think constructivism can be considered as the new count proposal for understanding human to Cartesian rationalism. Constructivism has the common area not only with recent results of evolutionary biology, evolutionary psychology. brain science, system theory, and complex adaptive system but also with recent trends of humanities, and social science. In artificial intelligence, the studies which can be considered as constructivistic methods is going on. In this paper, from a constructivistic pint of view, to broaden the concept of intelligence in artificial intelligenve, I will examine constructivistic methodologies to intelligent machine and look about the artificial intelligence techniques which are constructivistic. Throughout such a discussion I want to promote the integral understanding of various kinds of mind theories and techniques, and pave the way of general intelligence in artificial intelligence.
It is common to quantify the concept of interest in the social and human sciences to test a research hypothesis. In such a case, it is strongly recommended to investigate if the procedure is appropriately designed and implemented according the research purpose since the quantification procedure highly affects the result of statistical analysis. In this work, we propose a visualization tool which enables us to check the construct validity of a measurement tool (such a questionnaire) in a concise and convenient way based on a penalized factor analysis model. We illustrate our method with numerical simulation and real data analysis.
This study aims to explore the 'affective value' of records. Traditionally, records have been evaluated as having evidence value, information value, and artificial value. However, the 'affective turn' in the humanities and social sciences, which began in the 1990s, calls for discussion on the affective value of records. The overseas archive academia is in full swing discussing the emotional value of records after the 'affective turn'. However, there is no emotional discussion on records in the domestic archive academia. This study first conducts theoretical discussions to overcome these domestic limitations and explore the emotional value of archives in earnest. Following the theoretical discussion, a specific case will be dealt with next. As a representative storage of affect, which records the pain, sadness, and condolences of the domestic disaster era, this study investigates the record management case of the 4.16 Memory Storage. The Ferry Sewol disaster, which provided a dramatic opportunity to witness the unexpected ripple effect of affect in Korea, and the 4.16 Memory Storage as a recording activity, can be seen as a representative example of affective recording of the pain and sadness of survivors of the trauma incident. It will capture the differentiation of affet recording, which is different from the record management practice, and demonstrate empirically how this differentiation is implemented from collection to evaluation and service through the '4.16 Memory Storage'.
