A Study on the Impact of Hotel Internal Marketing Practices on Culinary Staff Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment (호텔기업 내부마케팅활동이 조리종사원들의 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study seeks to determine causal relationships between hotel internal marketing practices and job satisfaction, and ultimately on organizational commitment, to contribute information enabling hotel management to better understand employees working in hotel culinary departments. SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were employed for the statistical analysis (e.g. frequency statistics, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and structure equation model). Results revealed that the formulated model showed proper model fit (${\chi}^2=227.154$(df=179), p-value=0.009, CMIN/DF=1.269, RMR=0.013, GFI=0.931, AGFI=0.911, NFI=0.906, CFI=0.978, RMSEA=0.031), and confirmed construct reliability and convergent validity. Three factors (benefit package, educational training, work autonomy) were extracted based on the results of the factor analyses. Specifically, benefit package and work autonomy exhibited an effect on job satisfaction with benefit package asthe most significant factor (t-value 3.311, p<0.001), partially supporting the first hypothesis of this study. In addition, job satisfaction has found to have a positive influence in organizational commitment, confirming the second hypothesis of this study.

  • Cigarette smoking is one of the major causes of preventable diseases, disability, and death in Korea and worldwide. It has been clearly linked to the most common causes of death among the elderly and contributes to morbidity and disability associated with many chronic illnesses that are common in this age group. The health benefits of smoking cessation for the elderly have been clearly demonstrated. However, few studies have analyzed the relationship between health and smoking by considering the following many factors, especially among disabled people. In this study, we discuss the impacts of many factors on smoking among disabled people. Adults with disabilities are more likely to smoke than their peers. Public health agencies and practitioners should consider what reasonable adjustments may need to be made to policies and interventions to ensure that they are effective for adults with disabilities.

The Effect of the Selection Attributes of Coffee Shops on Customer Value and Revisit Intention - Focusing on College students in Busan - (커피전문점 선택속성이 고객가치와 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 부산 지역 대학생들을 중심으로-)

  • This research investigates the causal relationships between the selection attributes of coffee shops and customer value and revisit intention. To do this, the statistics programs SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used targeting 218 college students from three universities (K, D, Y) in the Busan area. Frequency analysis, explanatory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structure model analysis for hypothesis verification were conducted to analyze the data. Based on the results of exploratory factor analysis, five factors were drawn as quality of coffee, indoor environment, service, discount, and brand. Model fidelity and validity was confirmed by implementing the confirmatory factor analysis. In addition, results of structure model analysis confirmed partial relationships among the selection attributes of the college students regarding coffee shops, customer value, and revisit intention. Furthermore, a positive relationship between customer value and revisit intention was also confirmed. Thus, this research suggests that coffee shop managers should manage in a way that customers may acknowledge the value of the expenses they pay.

The Study on Comparative Analysis of the Same Data through Regression Analysis Model and Structural Equation Model (동일 데이터의 비교분석에 관한 연구 (회귀분석모형과 구조방정식모형))

  • This study analyzed empirically the same data through SPSS statistic(regression analysis) and AMOS program(structural equation model) used for cause and effect analysis. The result of empirical analysis was as follows. The different outcome of coefficients and p-values were deducted. Especially, in the mediated effect testing, meanwhile, SPSS statistic(regression analysis) pictured mediated effect, AMOS program(structural equation model) did not picture mediated effect on the reject zone of null hypothesis(absolute t-value and C.R.-value were nearby 1.96). Eventually, this study showed that what program used determined the outcomes of coefficients and p-values(In particular, the outcomes were differentiated further in the increasing measurement error) though using the same data.

BSC를 활용한 출연연구기관 기관평가제도의 유효성 연구 : 기관평가지표 분석을 중심으로

  • 기관평가제도는 경영관리과정의 최종단계로 평가결과에 의한 인센티브 부여와 피드백과정을 갖는 경영관리의 중심분야 임에도 불구하고 아직까지 정부출연연구기관의 기관평가제도에 대한 유효성 평가에 대한 실증연구가 없는 실정이다. 본 연구에서의 기관평가제도의 유효성에 대한 평가는 기관평가지표가 기관성과를 평가하기에 적절하게 구성되었는지의 여부와 연구기관의 의견이 반영되었는지 여부로 검증하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음과 같은 세부적인 방법론을 사용하였다. 첫째, 연구기관의 특성분석과 선행연구를 통하여 연구기관의 BSC 모형을 도출하였다. 둘째, 출연 연구기관의 특성을 고려하여 관점을 도출한 후 전문가를 통한 델파이법(Delphi Method)으로 관점을 확정하였다. 셋째, 기존 평가제도에서 평가지표의 가중치(weight)를 분석하여 관점별로 분류한 후 BSC 형태로 재조정하여 기존 평가제도의 유효성을 분석하였다. 넷째, 피평가자의 설문조사를 통하여 피평가기관의 의견이 반영된 평가지표의 유효성을 분석하였다. 기존 평가제도의 평가지표와 연구기관의 의견이 반영된 평가지표가 BSC 모형에서 적절하게 구성되었는지 분석하기 위하여 연구기관의 BSC 관점간의 가중치가 기존 평가제도와 연구기관의 의견이 반영된 평가지표에 반영되었는지 검증하였다. 연구결과 기초 ${\cdot}$ 원천 연구에 주력하는 기초기술연구회, 산업화 ${\cdot}$ 상업화 연구에 주력하는 산업기술연구회, 공공성 ${\cdot}$ 대형연구에 주력하는 공공기술연구회간에는 미션과 특성이 다르기 때문에 검증결과 관점간의 가중치가 다르게 나타났다. 따라서, 현행 기관평가제도는 연구기관의 특성과 미션을 고려한 유효한 평가제도로 볼 수 있겠다. 연구기관의 의견이 반영되었는지 여부는 기존 평가제도와 연구기관의 의견이 반영된 평가제도를 대상으로 관점간 가중치의 우선순위로 검증하였다. 연구결과 관점간 가중치의 우선순위가 동일할 경우 현행 평가제도는 연구기관의 의견이 반영되었다고 볼 수 있으나, 검증결과 관점간 가중치가 다르게 나타났다. 또한, 추가적인 분석에서 연구회별 관점의 가중치와 소속 연구기관별 관점의 가중치를 분석한 결과 일부 연구기관에서는 연구회의 가중치와달리 나타났다. 따라서, 현행 기관평가제도는 일부 연구기관의 특성이 충분히 반영되지 않아서 유효한 평가제도로 볼 수 없다고 하겠다. 본 연구의 결과에 따라 출연연구기관의 기관평가지표에 대한 각 지표별 가중치와 지표 문항 개선시 유용한 자료로 활용되리라 본다.

The Antecedents and Outcomes of Customer Satisfaction and the Formation Process of Brand Preference and Repurchase Intention in Service Industries (서비스 산업에서의 고객만족 선. 후행요인과 브랜드선호도 및 재구매의도 형성과정)

  • The main purpose of this study is to conceptualize and investigate the relationships between the antecedents and outcomes of customer satisfaction and the linking variables of brand preference and repurchase intention in service industries. To achieve this objective, the study tries to validate the structural equation model and causal relationships among the model's elements involving antecedents to customer satisfaction(perceived quality, value, equity), consequences(brand preference, repurchase intention), and moderating variable/switching cost, customer loyalty). Empirical findings are as follows: First, the effect of two antecedents/perceived quality and value) on customer. satisfaction was accepted but perceived equity was rejected. Second, I found out that there were direct or indirect relationships between the mediating variables/switching cost, customer loyalty, brand preference) and repurchase intention. This means that the proper management concerned with indirect path is probably more important for the success of services industries. Third, the direct effects of customer satisfaction and switching cost on repurchase intention were not significant against the existing studies excepting brand preference. This implies that repurchase intention was mainly intensified by the indirect path, 'customer loyalty${\rightarrow}$brand preference${\rightarrow}$repurchase intention' and 'switching cost${\rightarrow}$brand preference${\rightarrow}$repurchase intention.' The service marketers make efforts not only to strengthen the direct casual linkage but also to consolidate the indirect connections leading to create repurchase intention. Finally, the proper management of these structural relationships will help clarify the role of service marketer resulting in increasing sustainable competitive advantage in service industries.

A Study of the Effects of Job-seeking Efficacy on Use Intention and Outcome of the Work-net (구직효능감(job-seeking efficacy)으로 인 한 Work-net의 이용의도 및 성과에 관한 연구)

  • The present study examines the the role of subjectively perceived factors of the attitude toward job-seeking activities in forming an intention to use a web. An integrative research model is presented and tested empirically. It includes the following two aspects of belief in Davis' TAM: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use. Specially, internet job-seeking efficacy, or the belief in one's capabilities to organize and execute courses of Internet actions required to achieve given goals, is a potentially important factor in efforts to gain more favorable attitude toward Internet uses. Survey data were collected to develop a reliable operational measure of Internet job-seeking efficacy and to examine its construct validity. An four-item Internet job-seeking efficacy scale developed for the present study was found to be reliable and internally consistent. Also, many previous studies have established that perceived usefulness is an important factor influencing user acceptance and usage behavior of information technologies. However, very little research has been conducted to understand how that perception forms and changes over time. The current work presents and tests the determinants of perceived usefulness. The present study found that higher internet job-seeking efficacy is an important concept which is significantly related to job-seeking activities by positively influencing intention and performance as well as usefulness on the Internet.

An Empirical Study on Factors Impacting Operational Performance of Technology Commercialization Support Programs (기술사업화 지원사업의 운영성과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실증연구)

  • This study examined the effectiveness of the 'Youth Technology Transfer Specialist Training Project' for students of natural sciences and engineering colleges implemented using a 2018 revised supplementary budget. The cause and effect research model composed of project satisfaction, results of employment, and start-up. Five factors were developed based on a literature review. A total of 2,363 questionnaires were collected through 66 Industrial-Academic Cooperation Groups participating in the Youth TLO (Technology Licensing Officer) program for an empirical test. SPSS 23.0 was used to analyze the obtained data empirically and verify the hypotheses. The result of the analysis showed that the following five independent factors were significant for the program satisfaction as well as the program satisfaction for the performance of employment and start-up: 1) project operation-related recruitment and selection, 2) training support, and 3) working conditions, 4) control of the project, and 5) activity support. This study verified the level of satisfaction with the program empirically using comprehensive data. In terms of practical implications, improvement of operational programs helps improve program satisfaction, and in turn, results in improvement of employment and start-up of youth to achieve the goals of government.

The study on lead-lag relationship between VKOSPI and KOSPI200 (VKOSPI와 KOSPI200현선물간의 선도 지연 관계에 관한 연구)

  • We empirically examine the price discovery dynamics among the VKOSPI, the KOSPI200 spot, and the KOSPI200 futures markets. The analysis employs the vector-autoregression, Granger causality, impulse response function, and variance decomposition using both daily data from 2009. 04. 13 to 2011. 12. 30 and 1 minute data from the bull market, bear market, and the flat period. The main results are as follows; First, the lead lag relationships between KOSPI200 spot(futures) yield VKOSPI returns could not be found from the daily data analysis. But KOSPI200 spot(futures) have a predictive power for VKOSPI from 1 minute data. Especially KOSPI200 spot(futures) and VKOSPI show the bi-directional effects to each other during the return rising period Second, We chose the VAR(1) the model in daily data but adopt the VAR(3) model in the one minute data to determine the lead lag time. We know that there is predictability during the very short period Third, Spot returns and futures returns makes no difference in daily data results. According to the one minite data results, VKOSPI returns have a predictive power for KOSPI200 spot return, but have no predictive power for KOSPI200 futures return.

Relationship between Anxiety and Cellular Phone Addiction in Undergraduate Students: The Mediating Effect of Adjustment to College Life (대학생의 불안과 휴대폰 중독과의 관계: 대학생활적응의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate an association between anxiety, cellular phone addiction and adjustment to college life in undergraduate students using structural equating model (SEM). This study was verify whether adjustment to college life mediated the relationship between anxiety and cellular phone addiction. Participants of this study were 479 undergraduate students in Gwangju city in accordance to convenience sampling. SPSS 15.0 was employed for descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, calculation for cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient, exploratory factor analysis. Also, AMOS 7.0 was employed for confirmative factor analysis and path analysis of casual relation among variables and effect. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, anxiety had a negative effect on adjustment to college life and adjustment to college life had a negative effect on cellular phone addiction. Second, anxiety had a positive effect on cellular phone addiction. Third, it was founded that adjustment to college life partially mediated the relationship between anxiety and cellular phone addiction.
