  • This experiment was carried out to develop an artificial diet and a mass rearing system, which is essentIal in the pheromone research for Ostrmia furnacalis. Component deletion and addit.ion methods were applied t.o define the nut.ritional Importance of some components, especially yeast, Wesson's salt mixture and vitamin complex. Secondly we have developed a proper rearmg syst.em for O. furnacalis. and also tried to find out the factors affecting rapid sclerotization (dark-canning) of pupae. AddItion of yeast raIsed the pupal weight. and pupation rate. However Wesson's salt mixture got the female pupae lighter. Vitamin complex as a substitue for yeast showed a good survivahty in an early larval stage buL pupal weight was lower than that of the individuals reared on the yeast dIet. Also corrugated cardboard was found to be very good for pupation. And the rate of dark~tannmg in pupae was higher as the period of larval development was shorter.

  • 조명(照明, lighting)은 태양과 같은 자연광선이 아닌 인공광선으로써 피사체(被射體)로 하여금 그 선과 색 및 덩어리와 움직임을 그 자체가 아닌 가치 이상으로 돋보이도록 조작하는 일종의 메커니즘(mechanism)의 방법이다. 이 방법에는 피사체의 목적에 따라 여러 가지가 있다. 밝게 비추는 것, 전등으로 배광(配光)을 고려하는 것, 무대나 영화에 사용하는 것, 이밖에도 조명탄이나 탐지등(探知燈) 등 광범위하게 사용하고 있다. 조명이 발명되기 이전에는 모두 자연광선으로 하였다.

식물생산과 관련한 광의 물리학적 용어 및 개념

  • 최근들어 원예학, 농학, 식물학 등의 분야에서 각종 환경요인에 대한 식물의 생장반응을 연구하기 위한 기초 실험의 상당 부분이 인공광원을 사용한 가운데 이루어지고 있다. 또한 상기의 기초연구 이외에 식물공장에서와 같이 인공광과 태양광의 병용 또는 인공광만을 사용한 식물생산의 상업화에 대한 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 가운데 조직 배양묘, 접목묘, 실생묘 등을 인공광하에서 효율적으로 생산하기 위한 식물묘 생산의 실용화 연구도 수행되고 있다. 그런데 식물생산과 밀접하게 관련된 광(또는 복사)에 관련된 용어의 정의 또는 단위가 물리학, 조명 공학, 생물학 등의 전문 분야에 따라 서로 다른 경우가 있으며, 식물을 연구 대상으로 삼는 분야에서도 관련 용어와 단위가 뒤섞여 사용되기도 한다. 즉 하나의 용어가 복수의 의미로 사용되거나, 반대로 하나의 정의에 대해서 다수의 용어가 사용되기도 한다. 이러한 경우 단위가 명확하게 표시되지 않으면 사용된 용어의 의미가 애매하게 전달될 수 있다. 그러므로 식물생산과 관련된 용어 또는 단위의 사용에 혼란이 초래되지 않도록 용어와 단위를 통일하는 것이 바람직 할 것으로 판단된다.(중략)

  • Available daylight in inside offers comfortable view environment, and psychological and physical advantages to people in a room. Architectural design has a need for daylight prediction. But it is difficult to predict the illuminance values in daylight system. Using various Daylight simulation software is easy and simple, but we can find different results under the same conditions. This study compares with illuminance values from simulation (Lightscape 3.2, Relux 2007, Radiance 3.9) and Mock-up experiment with a same space and parameter of daylight (location of space and window, date, time and sky condition).

  • In this paper, It evaluated visibility about Metal Halide Lamp(MHL), High Pressure Sodium Lamp(HPS) and PLS(Plasma Lighting System) as Road lighting source in fog conditions. To evaluate visibility, it analyzed valuation of subjects about each light sources in special fog conditions. In result, it obtained that High Pressure Sodium Lamp has best visibility in photopic vision and PLS has best visibility in scotopic vision. This result is expected to help about select of Road lighting source.

  • In this paper, the performance of Hybrid Dimming control system for Daylighting system is evaluated by accredited tests. The system controls the balance of illuminance of daylight between daylight system and LED light system. It makes the normal illuminance of interior without the effects of weather by controlling the LED depending on the brightness of outside. For the tests, 6 diffusers($600{\times}300mm$) were installed in lighting area($36m^2$) and normal operation of the system sensors were tested about the interference of sunlight. The results of the examinations were satisfied with the criteria of accredited tests. Further research is the verification of energy saving effect by comparing the Hybrid Dimming control system to current artificial light system.

  • Daylight responsive dimming system, which is one of the method for utilizing available daylight. continuously adjusts lighting output with an algorithm of the correlation of photosensor signal and workplane illuminance levels. This system must be related with shading systems which are to control penetrating daylight. The purpose of this research is to analyze illuminance distributions by artificial lighting in different shading systems. Lighting power is changed by 5 levels in nighttime for comparing correlation between illuminance and lighting power in different shading systems.

  • In this paper, the result of study in artificial lighting uniformity ratio yield method subject to lecture room are reported. It is desirable that the application of equation ① U=Ei/Ex×100 cannot be used to the mean value in place to be effective of light and darkness. And it is desirable that the application of equation ② U=Ei/Ea×100 or equation ③ U=(Ea-Ei)/Ea×100 be used to the mean Value equality illumination conditions. Also, requiring preparation of judgement standard, uniformity ratio equation agree with actual circumstances in this country. It must be considered intensity of illumination and specificity of space in established standard.
