Development of SW education class plan using artificial intelligence education platform : focusing on upper grade of elementary school (인공지능(AI) 교육 플랫폼을 활용한 SW교육 수업안 개발 : 초등학교 고학년을 중심으로)

  • With the development of artificial intelligence, a lot of platforms have emerged that enable anyone to easily access and learn about artificial intelligence or create artificial intelligence models. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed various artificial intelligence education platforms and developed and proposed a SW education class plan using a framework-based artificial intelligence education platform for activating artificial intelligence based SW education. The artificial intelligence-based SW education framework aims to cultivate artificial intelligence literacy on the basis of computational thinking. In addition, a learner-centered project class was formed to include elements that could be fused with real life contexts or other subjects. Using this, with the theme of creating an artificial intelligence program to help separate garbage collection, a six-hour project-based class was developed and proposed using practical arts, social studies, and creative experiential activities. This project class was organized using a platform that is not difficult, such as AI Oceans and Entry.

  • The purpose of study is to find ways to improve online research work in the near future environment. Study methods and results are as follows. First, the basis of research was secured through theoretical consideration. Second, three types were derived by collecting examples. There are reward, execution and visualization. Third, comprehensive matrix and directions were derived through case analysis. According to the study, the most frequently used phase of AI technology were analysis, visualization, execution, casting, design, and matching, The direction of use of AI can be largely divided into work efficiency, human thought assistance, and changes in research methods. But the plan phase is generally scarce. Overall, the lack of in function is provided, including AI technology. At a time when research plans are becoming more important as users and products diversify.

  • Due to the rapid advancement of AI technology, generative artificial intelligence platforms are experiencing innovative applications in various fields. In this paper, it examines research cases involving the utilization of AI in education, explore instances where generative AI platforms are applied in the realm of creative endeavors, and discuss the direction of utilizing generative AI in educational contexts. In the field of computer graphics, this study introduced generative AI platforms that are applicable for image creation, editing, and video editing. It also proposed platforms that can be utilized in the video editing production process. These generative AI platforms not only offer advantages in terms of efficiency, by reducing the efforts of creators and saving time in the production process, but they also present positive aspects in enhancing individual capabilities. It is advocated that their swift integration into education is necessary, considering these benefits. This study aims to provide direction for the expansion of creative education utilizing generative AI platforms.

  • 최근 컴퓨터 게임에 있어 인공지능에 관한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이에 따라 게임에서 인공지능 구현을 지원하는 게임 NPC 지능 개발 플랫폼에 관한 연구도 많이 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 게임에서 NPC의 지능을 개발하는 측면에서 게임 NPC 지능 개발 플랫폼 설계 시에 요구되는 사항들을 알아보고, 실제게임 NPC 지능 개발 플랫폼들-FEAR SOAR, Gamebots-의 구조를 비교, 분석한다 또한 기존 게임 NPC 지능 개발 플랫폼에서 발생하는 문제점을 알아보고, 이를 해결하기 위한 방법을 제안한다.

  • Along with the development of technology in the fourth industrial revolution, the fields that can apply artificial intelligence technology are rapidly increasing. In order to improve computational thinking, overseas countries such as the U.S. and the U.K. are already using various AI education platforms to provide artificial intelligence education. Therefore, there is an increasing need for elementary school pre-service teachers in Korea to strengthen their AI education capabilities along with the existing software education. However, it may be difficult for learners with low levels of programming experience and AI education experience to choose an AI education platform that can sustain their learning motivation. Therefore, in this study, the factors related to learning motivation in the AI education platform were explored using the ARCS model. Through this, we present the factors required by the AI education platform for motivation and sustain of learning.

  • 최근 빅데이터, 인공지능 키워드를 이용한 다양한 연구들이 진행되고 있으며, 인공지능 연구를 통해 자동화 자율화를 위한 연구들이 주를 이루고 있다. 인공지능 연구를 수행하기 위해서는 거대한 데이터를 빠르게 전송해야하며, 인공지능을 손쉽게 수행하기 위한 플랫폼이 필요하다. 하지만 많은 연구기관에서는 빅데이터 전송 속도의 한계가 존재하며, 인공지능 알고리즘 수행을 위한 플랫폼 또한 부족한 것이 현실이다. 이를 해결하기 위해 ScienceDMZ 기술을 활용하여 고속의 빅데이터 전송을 위한 인프라를 구축하고, 엣지 컴퓨팅 기반의 오픈 분산 컴퓨팅 플랫폼을 개발한다. 이 시스템을 통해 사용자들에게 빅데이터를 빠르게 전송하고 전송된 데이터를 이용하여 바로 인공지능 연구를 수행하여 결과를 도출할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하고자 한다. 이 시스템을 이용하여 GPU 분산 컴퓨팅을 수행하였을 때 성능과 GPU 병렬 컴퓨팅을 수행하였을 때의 결과를 비교하여 성능을 검증하고자 한다.

  • 농업은 우리의 삶에서 빼놓을 수 없는 중요한 분야이며, 농업은 토지를 이용하여 다양한 작물들을 길러 음식을 만드는 기본이라고 말할 수 있다. 이렇게 중요한 농업 분야를 ICT 분야에서 가장 이슈가 되는 기술인 인공지능 기술과 결합하여 스마트팜과 같은 농업의 디지털화를 구축할 수 있다. 이와 같은 스마트팜 구축을 위해서는 기본적으로 다양한 작물의 빅데이터를 제공하고, 이 데이터를 바탕으로 인공지능을 수행하여 다양한 결과를 제공할 수 있다. 하지만 인공지능 연구를 수행하기 위한 시스템 및 플랫폼의 부재라는 문제점이 존재한다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 농업 빅데이터 관리 및 인공지능 연구 플랫폼 개발을 위한 과제를 통해 농업 빅데이터를 관리하고 인공지능을 연구자들이 손쉽게 수행할 수 있는 플랫폼을 개발하여 농업 분야의 작물 생산성 향상에 기여하고자 한다.

  • This study was carried out for the purpose of Exploring the types of AI platforms for creative activities and how to use them. In order to learn AI in the fields of art creation and music creation, which are representative areas of creative activity, types of AI platforms that can experience AI and perform simple programming were investigated. In addition, the utilization plan was presented so that each AI platform can be used to express students' ideas abundantly and to enhance their creativity. Through this, it is meaningful to suggest that the AI platform can be used as a teaching aid to enhance students' expressive power and creativity in creative activities.

  • With the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, the need for artificial intelligence education has increased. The online learning environment caused by COVID-19 made it possible to use variety of artificial intelligence platforms. In this study, an aritificial intelligence class plan was developed and proposed to achieve the goal of artificial intelligence education using an AI platform. The AI platform used is AI for Oceans, With the theme of creating a program for the environment, designed a 6-hour project class using Novel Engineering-based on STEAM model. Students experience AI for Oceans enough time and learn supervised learning by experience. Based on understanding of supervised learning, students design their own programs for the environment using Entry's AI blocks. In this study, for AI convergence education, this lesson was developed and presented with the goal of acquiring the creative problem solving ability and integrated thinking ability by using the principles of artificial intelligence to solve problems.
