Recently, implementation of telemedicine in Korea has been conducted as one of pilot projects with public health doctors. To manage and expand telemedicine services sustainably, it is necessary to understand the positions of various stakeholders. The purpose of this study is to observe and describe major phenomena around stakeholders related to telemedicine to capture major issues following the implementation of telemedicine. This study interviewed 24 research participants, including public health doctors who participated in the pilot project for telemedicine services. As a result of analyzing the interview manuscript using the grounded theory method, totally 68 concepts were derived at the coding stage, and 19 sub-categories, 11 categories, were proposed through the categorization process. In addition, through the elicitation concepts and categories of this study, conflicts among stakeholders were explained, conceptual models that presented the process of resolving conflicts, and five types of stakeholders were proposed. This study has theoretical and practical implications in that it captures and describes important issues from stakeholders in telemedicine services. The results of this study are expected to give some hints for problem solving to all of the stakeholders who wish to successfully build telemedicine services.

본 연구는 동남아 각국에서 시행되고 있는 레저 스쿠버 잠수 인증 제도에 대한 자료를 수집하고, 잠수 현황 및 인중 현황을 비교하였다. 자료 수집을 위해 인터넷에 게시된 내용을 많이 활용하였고, 관련 문헌을 조사하였으며, 자료 보완을 위해 잠수 협회 관계자, 2007년 동남아 각국의 DIVE EXPO 에 참가한 동남아 각국의 관공홍보 정부 관계자, 잠수 리조트 운영자 및 강사들과 폭 넓은 인터뷰를 하였다. 논문에는 인증 제도에 대한 이해를 돕기 위해 스쿠버 잠수 인증 단체의 설립 역사를 간략히 소개하였고, 스쿠버 인증과 국채 표준의 관계에 대해서도 언급하였다.

This study, we will identify and analyze the current status and trends of successful field trips and field experience learning in Korea to improve the future operation of the center so that the purpose of enhancing the regional economic ripple effect in Gyeongsangbuk-do and regaining its reputation as a school trip mecca and No. 1 location can be found. This study conducted qualitative research through FGI (Focus Group Interview) on accommodation managers, tourism-related stakeholders, tourism officials stakeholders, and tourism professors in order to explore new concepts of field trips and field experience learning in 23 cities and counties in Gyeongsangbuk-do, and ways to develop and promote tour programs based on the importance of experience. Through the FGI (Focus Group Interview) analysis results, problems related to improvement of accommodation, food and beverage, safety and service, cooperation among local tourism officials, enhancement of satisfaction with student group visitors linked to unique tourism resources and promotion, diagnosis and introduction of acceptance posture, and management of local residents, local tourism officials and public officials in Gyeongsangbuk-do needed to present the direction and opportunity of tourism policies in Gyeongsangbuk-do.

국내에서 에너지산업만큼 거대하고 복잡한 시장은 없다. 또 에너지산업만큼 모든 산업은 물론 개개인 모두와 깊은 관련을 갖는 분야도 없다. 그런데 모두와 관련이 있다는 것은 모두를 이해관계자로 만들 수 있는 구조적 난점이 있다. 이에 에너지와 관련된 정책은 모든 이들의 관심을 받으며, 항상 이슈화 된다. 문제는 모두를 만족시킬 수는 없다는 점이다. 하지만 무엇이 국가 전체를 봤을 때 옳은 정책인지, 또 현재 뿐 아니라 미래까지 전망했을 때 무엇이 더 현명한 정책인지 그 기준은 분명 존재한다. 우리나라에서 이처럼 복잡하면서도 어려운 에너지 분야를 연구해 정책을 제시하는 곳은 에너지경제연구원이다. 에너지경제연구원 손양훈 원장을 직접 만나 에너지산업의 현안과 이에 대한 해결책을 들어봤다.

Notwithstanding the importance of investigating the perception of residents in the seaport neighborhood area on the socio-economic effects of a seaport, so far few studies examined it. Accordingly, this study aims to examine the impact of Busan New Port on neighborhood area by conducting in-depth interviews with various stakeholders including residents as a qualitative case study. To conduct systematic interviews, the semi-structured interview questionnaires were prepared. Total 13 interviews were conducted. According to the results, there are some positive socio-economic impacts of seaport on neighborhood area, and also some negative socio-economic impacts exist. The results of this study can help port policy makers to formulate future port policy.

Based on the stakeholder theory, this paper analyzes a clash of standards in Korea's Electric Vehicle(EV) market, particularly between an EV charging standard and a smart grid communication standard in 2012~2013. For charging, EV is connected with the electric power grid and simultaneously exchanges data regarding the charging status. When EV is connected with the power grid, a clash between two standards may arise. It actually happened when BMW entered into the Korean EV market with the DC Combo charging system. In that course, the frequency interference occurred between the EV data communication technology adopted by BMW and the AMI(Advanced Metering Infrastructure) for the smart grid system in Korea. Standardization of Korea's EV charging systems was required to solve this problem. However, it had been delayed due to the confrontation between various stakeholders involved in the process of standardization. It lasted until the DC combo was accepted as one of the Korea EV charging standards(KSAE SAE 1772-2040, 2014.1) by KSAE(The Korea Society of Automotive Engineers) in January 2014. This is an interesting case in the age of convergence. As it deals with the standard competition not among EV standards, but a clash between the EV industry and the smart grid, i.e. electric power industry, it addresses the necessity to consider standardization processes between different industries. This study draws on the stakeholder theory to analyse the dynamics of the standard clash between EV charging systems and the smart grid system, which is a unique example of standard clash between different industries. We expect such clashes to increase in the age of convergence.

Community-based ecotourism (CBE), if well-developed can be a practical approach for promoting socio-economic well-being and sustaining ecological resources. The growth and its development worldwide especially in developing economies is a welcome development. The study aimed at assessing the Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary in Ghana, as an example of traditional conservation system of management that has ensured greater community participation, equity, inclusiveness, and multi-level stakeholder partnership. In-depth interviews with key informants and documentary analysis of relevant peer reviewed and grey literature were the main qualitative data collection used. Results revealed that majority of the interviewees support and value the current system of traditional management. The enforcement of rules and regulations and other cultural and religious practices were discussed by key informants. Opportunities for multiple livelihood strategies as a result of the CBE is seen as critical for increasing local's acceptance and participation. The remarkable growth of the sanctuary, as well as the increase in human population, has created a shortage of land for domestic and other commercial purposes which is identified as posing a major challenge to the sustenance of the sanctuary. The study recommends diversification of livelihood opportunities presented by the presence of the sanctuary like the introduction of homestay concept, craft making- wood carving, painting, artisan shops.

The purpose of this study is to find methods for building the community in poor residential environments. We analyze the public art project, "The Rose of Sharon Blooms," in Daejeon. To understand the project we interviewed artists, curators, local residents, and visitors, about three aspects of public art: visuality, speciality, and communication with citizens. These stakeholder interviews yielded valuable knowledge and insights: First, artworks created from the residents' recycled junk effectively harmonizes and unifies the citizens and their environment. Second, managing a gallery in the neighborhood symbolically values and explicates the public art project and thus enhanced the local identity. Third, public workshops in the neighborhood provide a venue for local citizens to communicate with visitors about the public arts, which eventually led to the welcoming atmosphere of the community. However, we found relatively little awareness of the need for partnership aspects among our interviewees, which suggests the importance of ongoing cooperation with other arts institutions and researchers to build vital cultural linkages and introduce varied art forms.

This study conducted an in-depth case study of bio-health companies in the Chungcheong region to examine the factors influencing the relocation of new industry cluster firms in non-metropolitan areas. Focusing on the experiences and perceptions of key stakeholders within the cluster, which have been relatively overlooked in previous research, this narrative research explored the factors that lead entrepreneurs who initially founded their businesses in non-metropolitan areas to relocate to metropolitan areas as well as the decision-making process involved. Through interviews with 61 key stakeholders within the Chungcheong cluster, it was observed that entrepreneurs receive various benefits from local stakeholders during the initial stages of entrepreneurship. However, as the company enters a phase of significant growth, matters such as securing specialized talent and market accessibility lead them to contemplate relocating to metropolitan areas. Based on case studies of companies that both remained and relocated in the Chungcheong region, this study examines structural drawbacks within non-metropolitan clusters and provides policy implications.

이번회에는 UIA 2017 Seoul의 Special Session에서 Digital Design and Fabirication섹션에서 Parametric Design이라는 주제로 발표한 내용을 토대로 재구성을 했습니다. 얼마전 한 인터뷰에서 Parametric design에 대하여 설명을 하라는 질문을 받은 적이 있습니다. Parametric tool을 건축설계에 응용한지 벌써 10여년이 흘렀고 저에게는 굉장히 친숙할뿐 아니라 설계와 디자인의 일부라고 생각했던, 그리고 동시에 너무도 많은 내용을 다루며 건축설계의 과정에서 광범위하게 사용되는 parametric design이란 내용을 짧은 시간안에 단 몇 문장으로 배경지식이 없으신 분들에게 설명을 해야 하였기에 조리있게 이야기를 해 드리지 못했던 그다지 유쾌하지 않은 기억이 있습니다. 처음 UIA 관계자로부터 연락을 받았을 때, 지난 10여년동안 경험했던 많은 내용 중 무엇을 말하는게 가장 좋을까 생각을 많이 했습니다. 결국은 몸담았던 회사들에서 참여 했던 화려한 프로젝트들보다는 건축이나 디자인에 종사하지만 parametric design에 대해서 막연한 생각을 가지고 있는 많은 분들이 parametric design이 가지고 있는 가장 근본적인 장점에 대해서 이해할 수 있수 있도록 중요한 개념과 또한 파라메트릭 디자인 프로세스를 적용한 간단한 예에 대해 잠시 살펴봄으로써 파라메트릭 디자인에 대한 이해를 돕고자 하는 바람으로 아래 소개할 프리젠테이션을 준비했습니다.
