A Realization on the Dualband VCO Using T-Junction Switching Circuit (T-Junction 스위칭 회로를 이용한 이중 대역 전압제어 발진기 구현)

  • In this paper, a new technique to reduce the phase noise in microwave oscillators is proposed using the resonant characteristics of the Photonic Bandgap(PBG). We applied PBG structure to ground of the microstrip line resonator with the low Q(Quality factor). Therefore, we improved about 10 dBc in contrast to phase noise characteristic of the conventional microstrip line oscillator at 2.4 GHz @ 100 MHz offset. Output power is 7.09 dBm.

  • Dual throat nozzle(DTN) is recently attracting much attention as a new concept of the thrust vectoring technique of propulsion jet. This DTN is designed with two throats, an upstream minimum and a downstream minimum at the nozzle exit, with a cavity in between the upstream throat and exit. In the present study, a computational work has been carried out to analyze the performance of a dual throat nozzle(DTN) at various mass flow rate of secondary flow. Two-dimensional, steady, compressible Navier-Stokes equations were solved using a fully implicit finite volume scheme. The present computational results were validated with some experimental data available. Based upon the present results, Thrust-vector control using a DTN is discussed in terms of the thrust coefficient and the coefficient of discharge.

  • Single-frequency induction heating equipment caused by a hardening heat treatment process of the double investment in the issue and allow the heat treatment process in order to shorten the time from one process to work simultaneously on two kinds of processes that allow Simultaneous Dual Frequency(SDF) drive scheme technology are described. In this paper, we propose a dual way to drive a simultaneous dual-frequency drive scheme has been implemented. Through simulations and experiments, we can obtain the validity of the proposed inverter for dual-frequency control and power control.

  • 본논문에서는 산업용 드론개발을 위한 안정성 향상에 대하여 연구하였다. 기존의 비행체의 경우 고신뢰도 대용량의 제어시스템을 이용하여 비행제어시스템을 구성하지만 무인 비행체는 소형 내장형시스템을 이용한다. 본 연구에서는 소형 무인 비행체에서 사용하는 소형 내장형 비행제어시스템에서 안정성을 개선하기 위한 방법으로 비행제어신호와 모터의 제어신호를 측정하여 안정상태와 이상상태를 구별한다. 제안한 방법은 기존의 비행제어시스템을 수정하지 않고 비행제어시스템의 감시가 가능 할 것으로 예상한다.

  • 소나 시스템에서 정보처리기는 정보 융합, 시스템 내부 제어 및 외부 시스템 연동 등의 다양한 임무를 수행한다. 정보처리기에 고장이 발생할 경우, 소나 시스템의 운영에 치명적인 영향을 끼치게 되므로 소나 시스템의 생존성 및 신뢰성 향상을 위한 정보처리기의 이중화가 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 소나 시스템을 위한 정보처리기의 이중화 방법을 제시한다. 제안하는 이중화 방법은 하드웨어 중복 및 동기식 이중화 방법을 사용하며 정보처리기 이중화 운용을 위한 master 설정 및 외부 연동 방법 등을 기술하였다.

  • Using a actuator to which the motor and the gear is applied to the I-PD control method and a dual-loop system to carry out precise position control. I-PD control algorithm performs an operation to reduce the overshoot in the transient response. Accordingly, the actuator obtains a precise position tracking result. Also it utilizes two sensors and dual loops. It reduces the adverse effect on the precise position control that may occur by the end play of the gear train. In this paper, we uses the actuator model applying the BLDC motor and gear in order to determine the position tracking result by the dynamic characteristic change. It was verified by the simulation results.

  • 이중여자 유도형 풍력발전 시스템은 권선형 유도기클 사용하며, 고정자 권선은 계통에 직접 연결하고, 전력변환 장치를 사용하여 회전자 권선의 전압을 제어함으로써 발전기의 토오크와 고정자의 무효전력을 제어할 수 있다. 발전기의 토오크는 주어진 풍속에서 최대가 되도록, 고정자의 무효전력은 항상 '0'이 되도록 하였으며, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하였다.

  • 고고도 장기체공 무인기는 일반적인 무인기와 달리 고고도에서의 환경과 장시간의 체공에 따른 위험도가 높을 수밖에 없다. 따라서 신뢰도를 높이기 위한 다양한 방안을 강구해야 한다. 가장 중요한 요소 중 하나가 비행제어시스템이며, 본 논문에서는 비행제어시스템의 이중화에 따른 설계결과와 비행시험결과를 기술하였다.

Hybrid CMA-ES/SPGD Algorithm for Phase Control of a Coherent Beam Combining System and its Performance Analysis by Numerical Simulations (CMA-ES/SPGD 이중 알고리즘을 통한 결맞음 빔 결합 시스템 위상제어 및 동작성능에 대한 전산모사 분석)

  • In this study, we propose a hybrid phase-control algorithm for multi-channel coherent beam combining (CBC) system by combining the covariant matrix adaption evolution strategy (CMA-ES) and stochastic parallel gradient descent (SPGD) algorithms and analyze its operational performance. The proposed hybrid CMA-ES/SPGD algorithm is a sequential process which initially runs the CMA-ES algorithm until the combined final output intensity reaches a preset interim value, and then switches to running the SPGD algorithm to the end of the whole process. For ideal 7-channel and 19-channel all-fiber-based CBC systems, we have found that the mean convergence time can be reduced by about 10% in comparison with the case when the SPGD algorithm is implemented alone. Furthermore, we analyzed a more realistic situation in which some additional phase noise was introduced in the same CBC system. As a result, it is shown that the proposed algorithm reduces the mean convergence time by about 17% for a 7-channel CBC system and 16-27% for a 19-channel system compared to the existing SPGD alone algorithm. We expect that for implementing a CBC system in a real outdoor environment where phase noise cannot be ignored, the hybrid CMA-ES/SPGD algorithm proposed in this study will be exploited very usefully.

Design of Duplicate System based on Commercial OS (상용 운영체제 기반 이중화 시스템 설계)

  • If the control system that works important job fails, economical loss occurred. Hence, to guarantee high reliability, it must be duplicated. In the case of traditional duplication mechanism, dedicated operating system with duplication functions were built. This required much development and maintenance cost. They can be saved, if we use commercial operating system and its development environment.This paper proposes a duplication mechanism for the system based on commercial 0S. The system that explained in this paper is BSC(Base Station Controller). The duplicated BSC system uses concurrent write memory for synchronization and VxWorks as an operating system. We propose how the task supporting duplication functions is executed without delay and preemption, how to synchronize standby's memory with active' s, and how to use concurrent-write memory easily with VxWorks' s partition. We also describe the takeover procedure when the active detects its hardware fault and when the standby recognizes the failure of the active.
