고분자(高分子) 재료(材料)의 오존열화(劣化) 및 방지(防止) 메커니즘

  • 오존은 PE나 고무 등 고분자재료(高分子材料)의 표면(表面)에 존재하는 이중결합(二重結合)에 대(對)하여 친전자적부가반응(親電子的付加反應)으로 ozonide가 생성되고 이어서 제(第)3급(級) 수소(水素)를 공격하므로서 주쇄(主鎖)가 절단된다. 따라서 aldehyde, ketone 등의 carbonyl 화합물(化合物)이 생성된다. 이들이 재료표면(材料表面)의 굴곡변형(變形)의 증가에 따라 열(熱) 또는 공(光)에 의하여 다시 분해(分解)를 촉진시킨다. 2개(個)의 N분자(原子)에 방향족(芳香族) 및 지방족기(脂肪族基)를 각각 치환시킨 p - phenylene diamine 유도체(誘導體) 등과 같은 전자공흥성(電子供與性)이 큰 화합물(化合物)은 친전자적(親電子的)인 오존과 우선적으로 3급(級) 수소에 비하면 약 100 배(倍)로 반응성이 크다는것을 표(表)3으로 알수 있다. 미단이중결합(未端二重結合)에 대한 오존과의 반응은 다음 반응식과 같이 이중결합(二重結合)에 오존의 부가반응(付加反?)으로 개시(開始)되어 peroxi methylene이 유리되면서 미단(未端)은 aldehyde로 변화한다. 또 1개의 반응은 제(第)3급(級) 탄소-수소 결합에 오존이 삽입되고 계속 일어나는 분해반응으로서 hydroperoxide의 생성 및 탈염화수소(脫鹽化水素)반응이 일어난다. 이와같은 반응(反?)으로 생성(生成)된 내부(內部) 이중결합(二重結合)에 대한 오존의 반응은 olefin의 경우와 마찬가지로 molozonide나 ozonide의 과정을 거쳐 주쇄(主鎖)가 개열(開裂)되는 것이다.

Analysis of the Music based on Time series (시계열을 이용한 음악의 해석)

  • This paper describes an analysis of the music as a time series and the fuzzy logic-based modeling of it. All music is made up of a finite number of musical notations known as the musical symbols, such as clefs, staff, tine signature, notes, rests, etc. . The musical score uses musical symbols to present various characteristics, such as rhythm, melody, chord, etc,. for interpreting the music. In this paper, it is possible to transform the beat and pitch in the musical into time series from the viewpoint of recognizing beat and pitch of sounding tone at each time. On the basis of the identified features of the musical score, a musical score is represented as a time series and then is constructed to fuzzy logic-based model for predicting them. Examples are presented to illustrate the validity of the proposed method.

  • MAPTAC-MMT was prepared by exchanging the mineral cation (sodium montmorillonite) with 3-(methacryloyl amino) propyltrimethyl ammonium chloride, thus rendering the mineral organophilic and forming polymerizable moieties directly bonded to the surface of montmorillonite (MMT). Thermoresponsive nanocomposites (PNIPAM-MMT) were synthesized by polymerization of N-isopropyl acrylamide in an aqueous suspension of MAPTAC-MMT at room temperature. Thermoresponsive nanocomposites exhibited a low critical solution temperature (LCST) similar to unmodified poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide) (PNIPAM). The LCST of thermoresponsive nanocomposites decreased in proportion to the amount of MAPTAC-MMT. TGA results showed that the thermal stability of thermoresponsive nanocomposites was improved compared to PNIPAM itself the thermoresponsive polymer.

  • A two-loop Rankine cycle for engine waste heat recovery of gasoline vehicle has been investigated. Water-steam cycle as a high-temperature (HT) loop for exhaust gas heat recovery and R-134a cycle as a low-temperature (LT) loop for both heat recovery of the engine coolant and the residual heat from the HT loop were considered. Energy and exergy analysis was performed to investigate the performance of the system. Because two volumetric expanders are used for the HT and LT loop, the sizes of two expanders are very important for the optimization of the system. The effects of pressure ratio of the HT loop, considering the size of the HT expander, and the condensation temperature of LT loop on the performance of the system at a target engine condition were investigated. This study shows that about 20% of additional power from the engine waste heat recovery can be obtained at the target engine condition.

  • The surface heat flux of nuclear fuel rod is the most important factor which can affect safety of reactor and fuel. If fuel rod surface heat flux exceeds the CHF(${\underline{C}}ritical$ ${\underline{H}}eat$ ${\underline{F}}lux$), fuel can be damaged. In case of double cooled annular fuel, which is under developing, contains two coolant channels. Therefore, a generated heat in the fuel pellet can move to inner or outer channel and heat flow direction is decided by both sides heat resistance which varied by dimension and material property change which caused by temperature and irradiation. The new program(called DUO) was developed. For the calculation of surface heat flux, a both sides convection by inner/outer coolant, s gap temperature jump and conduction in the fuel are modeled. Especially, temperature and time dependent fuel dimension and material property change are considered during the iteration. A sample calculation result shows that the DUO program has sufficient performance for annular fuel thermal hydraulics design.

A study on reducing temperature rise of twin-glass evacuated tube solar collector during summer time (이중진공관형 태양열 집열기의 하절기 과열 방지에 대한 연구)

  • The reflection plate in twin-glass evacuated tube solar collector is controlled to reduce the overheat during the summer time. The sliding type and folding types are suggested and tested. The sliding type changes the plate angle and the folding type changes the opening angle of the reflection plate. By scattering the focus of the reflected radiation from the reflection plate, the temperature rise of the working fluid can be reduced. The sliding type shows the best results in overheat reduction. When solar radiation is 900 $W/m^2$, the temperature rise in one sliding type collector is reduced about $2^{\circ}C$ compared to that of the normal solar collector. When this method is applied to seven series-collectors in the field, the reduction of temperature rise during the summer time should be significant.

  • 오픈 소스 유체역학 소프트웨어인 OpenFOAM은 다양한 유체 흐름에 적용 가능한 프로그램들로 구성되어 있다. 이 중 interFoam은 밀도가 다른 두 유체(i.e., 물, 공기) 간의 경계를 추적하는 기법을 기반으로 한 프로그램으로, 파랑의 거동 모의에 주로 쓰이고 있다. 파생형 프로그램으로는 동격자(dynamic mesh) 및 중첩 격자 기법(overset grid method)을 interFoam에 추가한 overInterDyMFoam이 있다. 두 기법을 사용하면 각각 여러 영역에서 유체흐름과 다중 물체 간의 상호작용을 효율적으로 모의할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 overInterDyMFoam을 사용하여 두 개 수문의 개방 움직임을 구현하고 생성된 파랑이 포말대(swash zone)에 접근하였을 때의 흐름 특성을 조사하였다. 수치모형실험 결과 수문 개방 속도가 댐 붕괴 파랑 흐름 전파속도에 영향을 미치는 사실을 발견하였다. 또한, 처오름과 처내림의 상호작용에 의한 난류 운동 특성을 조사하기 위해 수문 개방시간 간격을 0초~3초로 설정하였다. 수치모형실험 결과는 수리모형실험의 수면 변동 시계열과 속도 시계열 결과와 비교하여 모형의 정확성이 검증되었다.

Estimation of Heat Insulation and Light Transmission Performance According to Covering Methods of Plastic Greenhouses (플라스틱온실의 피복방식에 따른 보온 및 광투과 성능 평가)

  • The objective of the present study is to provide data needed to decide covering method to be able to increase the thermal insulation and light transmittance efficiency of commercial greenhouse. The thermal insulation effect, PPF transmittance and quantity of condensation water were estimated in experimental tomato greenhouses covered with three types of coverings of single layer, air inflated and conventional double layers covering. The overall heat flow of air inflated double layers greenhouse was similar to that of conventional double layers greenhouse, but the temperature between covering material and thermal screen in air inflated double layers greenhouse was lower than that in conventional double layers greenhouse at the same outside temperature condition due to air leakage through the gap of roof vent. The overall heat transfer coefficients acquired by experiment that was performed in single layer and conventional double layers greenhouses were close to those obtained from model experiment. Even though the PPF transmittance of air inflated double layers greenhouse was lower than that of single layer greenhouse, which was greater than that of conventional double layers greenhouse. The quantity of condensation water on covering surface of single layer greenhouse was greater than that of air inflated double layers greenhouse due to lower covering surface temperature.

The study of developing the freezing seal isolation method for the pre insulated heat transfer pipe (이중보온 열수송관에 대한 동결차수공법개발에 관한 연구)

  • A lot of piping systems have been used from nuclear power systems to water supply systems. The maintenance of the piping systems is needed to ensure proper operation of the piping systems. Failure of the large pipe systems especially such as KDHC(Korea District Heating Corporation) can be a matter directly related to the enterprise productivity and profitability. It can also lead to very important issues in promoting public safety and convenience. Therefore a method of quick and safety repairs have been emerged as the most important problem. In this study, freezing seal isolation method using liquid nitrogen cryogenic refrigerant was developed for the maintenance of a pre insulated heat transport pipe of KDHC with a diameter of 300 mm. In this study, by employing computational analysis techniques we performed the flow and heat transfer analysis for the targeted pre insulated heat transfer pipe and freezing seal jacket(ice-Plug) and have selected for optimal system. The detailed design model based on the results of the computational analysis finally was produced. A laboratory-scale test apparatus were designed and the freezing seal isolation self-test carried out. Also the performance assessment tests in the test bed of KDHC were carried out for on-site application.

HMM-based Speech Recognition using FSVQ, Fuzzy Concept and Doubly Spectral Feature (FSVQ, 퍼지 개념 및 이중 스펙트럼 특징을 이용한 HMM에 기초를 둔 음성 인식)

  • In this paper, we propose a HMM model using FSVQ(First Section VQ), fuzzy theory and doubly spectral feature, as study on the isolated word recognition system of speaker-independent. In the proposed paper, LPC cepstrum coefficients and regression coefficients of LPC cepstrum as doubly spectral feature be used. And, training data are divided several section and first section is generated codebook of VQ, and then is obtained multi-observation sequences by order of large propabilistic values based on fuzzy nile from the codebook of the first section. Thereafter, this observation sequences of first section is trained and is recognized a word to be obtained highest probaility by same concept. Besides the speech recognition experiments of proposed method, we experiment the other methods under the equivalent environment of data and conditions. In the whole experiment, it is proved that the proposed method is superior to the others in recognition rate.
