Perceived Quality of Korean Restaurants Influencing on Satisfaction and Behavioral Intentions - From the Perspectives of Asian Tourists to Korea - (만족도와 행동의도에 영향을 미치는 한식당의 지각된 품질 요인에 관한 연구 - 한국을 방문한 아시아 관광객의 관점을 중심으로 -)

  • The main purposes of this study were to assess Asian travelers' perceptions of service quality provided by Korean restaurants and to identify the relationships among perceived quality, satisfaction, and behavioral intentions. The survey was administered during one-month period of January-February 2009, targeting tourists from China, Taiwan, and Japan who were visiting Korea through escorted tour packages offered by several Korean travel agencies. A total of 223 copies of the questionnaire were collected for the data analyses such as descriptive statistics, factor analysis, MANOVA, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 12.0 program. The main results of this study were as follows: 1) The results of the gap analysis indicated that the service quality in several areas provided by the Korean restaurants did not meet the tourists' expectations; 2) The factor analysis identified four underlying dimensions of travelers' perceptions of overall service quality provided by Korean restaurants ("value and quality of foodservice", "menu choices", "service quality of employees", and "quality of surrounding area"); and 3) Through multiple regression analyses, three determinants ("value and quality of foodservice", "menu choices", and "service quality of employees") were found to have the greatest impact on tourists' satisfaction and behavioral intentions.

  • 최근 기업의 효율적인 경영을 위해 다양한 소셜 채널에서 폭발적으로 생성되고 확산되는 빅 데이터를 실시간으로 분석하는 기술이 개발되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 관광서비스에 관해 소셜 미디어 상의 빅 데이터를 이용하여 보다 정확하고 효율적인 정보 수집과 분석이 가능하도록 하기위한 모델구축 방법을 제안하고 관광서비스에 관한 평판을 분석한다. 관광 산업 도메인 네트워크를 활용한 표준화, 일반화 확보를 위해 먼저 B2C 산업군 및 업종별 공통 수집원 추출 및 표준화 분석 체계 수립을 통한 해당 적용분야의 설계안 수립하고 관광객(소비자) 작성 게시글 분석을 위한 산업군 정보 추출하며 관광지, 숙박지, 교통 등 다양한 업종에 대한 분석 수행한다. 관광지에 대한 평가 기준을 기존의 설문이 아닌 SNS 상의 고객 의견을 바탕으로 호감도로 분석한다.

  • This research aims to provide fundamental data for tourism policy to attract Japanese tourists to Korea. Using Japanese tourists, this study estimated how much they thought destination selection attributes are important and how much these attributes were performed. Also, this study analyzed the ranking among each selection attributes using paired sample T-test. The results show "concentrate here" part is cleanliness and hygiene, employee's service, convenience of transport and scenery. This means that these attributes are very important but they indicate low performance. Concentration among tourism managers should be focused along these attributes.

  • 운영중인 철도패키지 관광상품중 관광동굴이 포함된 철도관광상품의 특성을 살펴보았다. 모든 상품이 당일 또는 1박정도의 철도노선 주변에 위치한 자연관광자원과 주로 연계된 상품 특성을 보였다. 철도관광상품의 이용활성화를 위한 방안으로 보다 다양한 시장세분화가 요구되며 적극적인 홍보전략이 필요한 것으로 나타났으며 패키지 상품의 차별화도 고려해야 할 것이다. 또한 철도관광상품에 포함된 지자체의 경우 수요관광객에 대한 질적인 서비스 향상과 지역간 관광협력 네트워크구축이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 철도관광상품을 이용한 경험이 있는 관광객에 대한 만족도와 경험하고자 하는 예비관광객에 대한 수요조사도 아울러 필요하다.

  • 2002년 9월 29일부터 제 14회 부산 아시안게임이 개최되며 안전하고 원활한 대회 운영을 위하여 대회 조직위원회, 정부기관 및 경찰에서 노력하고 있지만 실제 관광객이 필요할 때 경찰시설에 대한 정보를 제공할 수 있는 서비스가 부족하다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 GIS를 이용하여 경기장, 숙박시설, 교통시설 등의 편의시설과 인근 경찰서를 쉽게 검색한 수 있고 편의시설간의 경로검색이 가능한 안내시스템을 구현하였다. 향후 GPS 기능을 추가하여 현재 위치에서도 인근 경찰서의 검색 및 경로검색이 가능하도록 하고자 한다.

  • 코로나 19(Covid-19)사태의 장기화로 비접촉 시스템이 선호됨에 따라 서비스 로봇 시장이 발전하고 있다. 그 중 공항은 특히 접촉에 대한 우려가 큰 장소로 공항 이용객의 안전과 편의를 위한 로봇 시장의 발전이 필요하다. 따라서 영상인식 기반 Haar Cascade 알고리즘을 이용한 트래킹 및 자율주행 기술의 로봇을 개발하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the difference between service quality satisfactions according to tourists' preference and segmentation by various motivations. Data were collected from 442 farm stay visitors by field surveys in rural areas. A factor-clustering method identified three distinct segments; want-it-all, overall low motivation, relaxation. MANOVA was used to examine the differences of service quality satisfaction for farm stay visitors' preference and segmentation by motivation. Results show that the type of guest room more significantly influenced farm stay visitors' satisfaction according to those three clusters. It should be noted that we have information on the characteristics and type of satisfaction of the consumers in order to improve the quality of farmstay's service in rural tourism.

  • The increasing disposable time through advancing information has come to make the tourism industry as well as the information communication industry glow in the 21st century We cannot make rational decision without proper guide information. It is impossible to anticipate tourism Products which are invisible products consisting of a variety of basic combinations of products. Tourists are getting dissatisfied with tourism experts' distorted guidance every year. A recent survey shows that the current tourism information system can't meet the need of tourists who are informative and individualized. This paper presents tourism information system that offers the most appropriate tour courses depending on the tastes of tourists by utilizing expert system, artificial intelligent applied technology. This paper is the first attempt to maximize comsumer satisfaction by developing the intelligent agent system that is able to reflect the traits of individualized customers' in the tourism industry The establishment of this system will contribute to activating the tourism industry, ultimately, by decreasing inconveniencies and tour schedules appropriate to the purpose of individual tours.

ZMET-based Participation Motivation Analysis of Chinese Tourists's Floral Arrangement Courses Visit to Korea (ZMET을 활용한 방한 중국인 관광객의 꽃꽂이교육 관광콘텐츠 참여동기 연구)

  • In order to develop the marketing strategy of Korean floral arrangement courses for chinese tourists, this study aimed at gaining their participation motivation with application of the ZMET (Zaltman metaphor-elicitation technique). According to the results, 18 constructs ('a sense of accomplishment', 'Korean culture visit', 'teacher's high-quality service', 'professionalism', 'to be together', 'communication with others', 'joint pleasure', 'better than China', 'not available in China', 'healing', 'the feeling of happiness and love', 'easy access to art', 'wonderful life shot', 'beautiful interior', 'special design', 'expectation', 'close to nature', and 'nice daily-life decoration') were derived and 4 main constructs ('a sense of accomplishment', 'Korean culture visit', 'teacher's high-quality service', and 'professionalism') of the consensus map were analyzed. Therefore, the Korean floral arrangement courses for chinese tourists should open an adjustable level of difficulty of curriculum, offer an opportunity to experience other Korean culture and increase florist's abilities from various aspects.

  • Although the external aspects of the family restaurant industry such as sales volume and the number of restaurants are rapidly increasing, and the environmental changes of the restaurant industry give rise to the importance of a more systematic and detailed study. The objective of this study is to examine which factors and how they influence the intention of revisit, and present an effective restaurant marketing strategy based on the analytical results by patrons and market segmentations. In order to substantiate the proposed model of this study, the SPSS Win 12.0 program was used for the statistical analysis. The results showed that service quality factors had a positive effect on satisfaction, word of mouth, recommendation and intention of revisit. The study verifies how service quality which consists of selection attribute, customer satisfaction and intention of revisit influences revisit.
