A spayed female, 8-year-old, maltese, weighing 1.84 kg with a history of acute severe vomiting, anorexia, depression for 2 day was referred. An abdominal mass was palpated with abdominal pain on physical examination. Radiographic findings included two soft tissue density masses in the mid-abdominal cavity and gas dilated colon. Ultrasonographs showed one heterogeneous hypoechoic round mass including intestinal wall. There were loss of normal wall layering and motility and absence of internal lumen of the intestinal wall. And another heterogeneous hyperechoic mass was identified to the medial side of the intestinal mass. Based on clinical signs, image findings, and the result of fine needle aspiration, intestinal obstruction due to alimentary lymphoma was diagnosed. On surgery, a cecal lymphoma and mesenteric lymphadenopathy were confirmed and the cecal mass was resected.

Quantitative traits are mostly controlled by a large number of genes. Some of these genes tend to have a large effect on quantitative traits in cattle and are known as major genes primarily located at quantitative trait loci (QTL). The genetic merit of animals can be estimated by genomic selection, which uses genome-wide SNP panels and statistical methods that capture the effects of large numbers of SNPs simultaneously. In practice, the accuracy of genomic predictions will depend on the size and structure of reference and training population, the effective population size, the density of marker and the genetic architecture of the traits such as number of loci affecting the traits and distribution of their effects. In this review, we focus on the structure of Hanwoo reference and training population in terms of accuracy of genomic prediction and we then discuss of genetic architecture of intramuscular fat(IMF) and marbling score(MS) to estimate genomic breeding value in real small size of reference population.

A sliding accident on the road have a high percentage by road freezing, especially, it is often appeared at bridges and Tunnel of freezing areas. Thus, the stability of road operations is enhanced by preventing a partial freezing phenomenon. According to the geothermal snow melting system analysis, a pattern of thermal conductivity is found out about pavement materials of concrete and asphalt when it is buried. The thermal conductivity study is essential that be applied the geothermal snow melting system according to heating exchanger pipe laying of lower pavements. The model tests are conducted on low temperature in freezer using the manufactured test model which is equal to pavement materials. And Many variables are discovered from numerical analyzes of the same conditions with model test.

An 1-month old female newborn was admitted to our hospital because of jaundice which occurred at 2 days after birth. Plain chest X-ray and chest CT revealed a collapsed right middle lobe and lobar emphysema was suspected. Right upper lobectomy of the lung was done and pathologic findings showed an infantile lobar emphysema. After the operation, the newborn was discharged without complication and was followed up through the out patient clinic. Infantile lobar emphysema is rare and male dominant. Left upper lobe of the lung is the most prevalent site. Patients with infantile lobar emphysema complain of respiratory symptoms. We report one case of infantile lobar emphysema on right upper lobe of lung, in a female with no respiratory symptoms.

In this study, temperature increase and strength development of concretes with different types of cement were investigated to construct dam drop spillway. For this purpose, boxes of 1${\times}$1${\times}$1m size with 4 different concrete mixtures were made. The types of concrete were Type I cement concrete, fly ash cement concrete and two type concrete with ternary cement, respectively. The temperature at each point were monitored in these boxes. Based on the Box test, hydration analysis of slab of 2.0m thickness was carried out. This paper presents these experimental and analytical results.

Current service discovery protocols such as UPnP, Jini, SLP provide the basic function which is message exchange pattern, service representation and description, in service discovery. They does not guarantee service interoperability among service discovery. Therefore, in this paper, we design and implement CLAM (Component-based Autonomic Layered Middleware) agent platform to enable an efficient service discovery through extension of DF agent function in FIPA-compliant specification. Also, we propose an efficient service discovery mechanism using DHT-Chord algorithm to guarantee scalability and interoperability in DF agent.

Pseudanostirus ecarinatus (Stepanov, 1930) is recognized for the first time in Korea. A redescription and illustrations of the species are presented based on a single male specimen collected from Mt. Bangtae Gangwon-do. We also provide diagnostic characteristics of the genus, which clearly separate it from other closely related genera, Calambus Thomson, 1859 and Anostrius Thomson, 1859.

Field work conducted in Natma Taung National Park, Chin State, Myanmar, in 2015 to make a checklist of lycophytes and ferns resulted in the discovery of four fern species not previously recorded in the flora of Myanmar. All occur in other countries in southeastern Asia, and in other tropical areas. The species are as follows: Adiantum monochlamys (Adiantaceae), Ctenitis decurrentipinnata (Dryopteridaceae), Pteris tripartita, and Paragymnopteris vestita (Pteridaceae). These findings will enable us to update the checklist of ferns of Myanmar.

In Nb, V and Ti added steels, carbo-nitrides are formed due to their strong interaction with C and N. The formation of carbo-nitrides has an important role to control the microstructure as well as mechanical properties by grain size refinement and precipitation hardening. However, the quantitative analysis of distribution of precipitates and the effect of precipitates on the phase transformation and mechanical properties are still far from satisfactory. In this study, the quantitative analysis of precipitates in austenite was investigated using the fact that the formation of precipitates in Nb, V and Ti added steels accelerates austenite/ferrite transformation. The formation of precipitates was controlled by adjusting holding temperature and time in austenite region, transformed Volume fractions were measured by dilatometer during slow cooling, Iso-precipitation kinetics were determined by comparing 5% and 50% volumes transformed at various conditions respectively. The result was compared with the calculated.

Hemangioma of the larynx is generally classified into adult and infantile form. More common infantile form usually arises on subglottic portiion and may cause respiratory distress. Adult form is rare and arises on vocal cord or above. Vocal cord hemangioma was rarely reported in the medical literature. Since Kimmelman et al reported vocal hemangioma in 1979 first, there are four cases of vocal hemangioma reported in medical literature. Recently, we experienced a case of vocal cord hemangioma and successfully removed it with micro-laryngeal surgery. Hence we report this case with review of literatures.
