  • 이 논문에서는 CNC 머시닝 센터의 두 서보축을 대상으로 가공정밀도를 유지하면서 최고의 이송속도로 가공 속도를 증가시키는 퍼지 제어 기법을 제안한다. 또한 기존의 오차 모델링 방식이 아닌 비선형 궤적에서도 적용이 가능한 최근의 윤곽오차 모델을 사용한다. 퍼지 소속함수의 입력 변수가 허용 오차에 따라 스케링되고 이송속도와 윤곽오차와의 관계를 퍼지제어룰에 기초하여 허용 오차안에서 매 시간마다 보다 빠른 이송속도를 찾는다. 모의 실험 결과들이 제안한 방법이 기존의 고정된 이송속도를 사용하는 방법과 유사한 윤곽오차를 보이면서도 빠른 가공을 할 수 있음을 보여준다.

  • Finding a technique to achieve high machining precision and high productivity is an important issue for CNC machining. One of the solutions to meet better performance of machining is feedrate control. In this paper we present an adaptive feedrate neuro-control method for high precision and high speed machining. The adaptive neuro-control architecture consists of a neural network identifier(NNI) and an iterative learning control algorithm with inversion of the NNI. The NNI is an identifier for the nonlinear characteristics of feedrate and contour error, which is utilized in iterative learning for adaptive feedrate control with specified contour error tolerance. The proposed neuro-control method has been successfully evaluated for machining circular, corner and involute contours by computer simulations.

  • Static variations of cutting forces are estimated using spindle motor current. Static sensitivity of spindle motor current is higher than feed motor current. The linear relationship between the cutting force and RMS value of the spindle motor current is obtained. Using cutting force estimation, tool overload in milling process can be well detected, and cutting force is regulated at a constant level by feedrate adaptive control.

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 유연 볼 엔드밀의 절삭력 모델을 바탕으로 자유 곡면의 정삭 가공에서 발생할 수 있는 과대 또는 과소 절삭을 방지하면서 그 가공의 효율성을 높이기 위한 볼 엔드밀의 이송 속도 결정법을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저, 자유 곡면의 가공에서 발생될 수 있는 공구의 처짐에 따른 가공오차에 대하여 볼 엔드밀 공구의 처 짐벡터와 공작물의 공구 접촉점에서의 법선벡터로 표현되는 가공오차(machining error ) 예측 모델식을 유도하였다. 본 가공오차 예측 모델식은 다시 절삭날당 가지는 이 송량의 함수로 전개되어 그 곡면의 주어진 가공 공차(machining tolerance)를 만족시 키는 이송속도를 결정하게 된다.

  • A research on the AFC(Auto Feedrate Control) by a fuzzy controller using a tool dynamometer and motor currents was conducted. For simulations, cutting dynamics of end-milling process was modeled by geometric relationship between tool and work-piece. The fuzzy logic controller was employed to track the desired cutting force and showed good performance in simulations and several experiments. The spindle motor currents was modeled to estimate cutting force and successfully used for the AFC.

  • 보간기(Interpolator)는 NC 공작기계에서 공구의 궤적 및 이송속도를 제어하는 주요한 요소이다. 보간기는 보간계산 과 펄스의 발생을 전자회로로서 행하는 하드웨어 보간기와 컴퓨터 프로그램으로 수행하는 소프트웨어 보간기로 나눌 수 있는데 하드웨어 보간기는 고속보간이 가능하지만, 유연성이 부족한 단점이 있기 때문에 CNC 화 뒤로는 그 의존도가 점점 낮아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 더 광범위한 기준펄스 보간기의 특성을 조사하기 위하여 DDA, SPD(Smooth Pulse Distribution), SFG(Saita Function Generator) 방식의 직선, 원호, 타원보간 성능을 알고리즘의 처리속도, 경로오차의 측면에서 비교, 분석하였다.

A Study on feedrate Optimization System for Cutting Force Regulation (절삭력 추종을 위한 이송속도 최적화 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • Studies on the optimization of machining process can be divided into two different approaches: off-line feedrate scheduling and adaptive control. Each approach possesses its respective strong and weak points compared to each other. That is, each system can be complementary to the other. In this regard, a combined system, which is a feedrate control system fur cutting force optimization, was proposed in this paper to make the best of each approach. Experimental results show that the proposed system could overcome the weak points of the off-line feedrate scheduling system and the adaptive control system. In addition, from the figure, it can be confirmed that the off-line feedrate scheduling technique can improve the machining quality and can fulfill its function in the machine tool which has a adaptive controller.

  • This paper proposes a three-axis coupling controller designed to improve the contouring accuracy in machining of 3D nonlinear contours. The proposed coupling controller is based on an innovative 3D contour error model and a PID control law. The novel contour error model provides almost exact calculation of contour errors in real-time for arbitrary contours and can be integrated with any type of existing interpolator. In the proposed method, three axes of motion are coordinated by the proposed coupling controller along with a proportional controller for each axis. The proposed contour error model and coupling controller are evaluated through computer simulations. The simulation results show that the proposed 3-axis coupling controller with the new contour error model substantially can improve the contouring accuracy by order of magnitude compared with the existing uncoupled controllers in high-speed machining of nonlinear contours.

  • There are a lot of electrical and electronic components and pneumatic parts sensitive to vibration and shock in the VEB assembly which KARI directly transports among the KSLV-I upper stage transportation items. So, the special attention in the transportation is required. The transportation container with the apparatus for controlling environment was made in order to meet the requirements. The transportation tests using the engineering model were performed 4 times to verify the performance of the transportation container and to conform the transportation conditions(transportation velocity, route, etc.). In this document, the previous transportation history of the VEB assembly, the overview and the result of the KSLV-I FM unit 2 VEB assembly transportation are described.
