Recent days composite bridge deck is gaining attraction due to many advantages such as light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and high durability. In this study, composite sandwich deck models of hat, box, and triangular section type were fabricated by VARTM process. For those models, three point flexural test was carried out both in strong and weak axis. The experimental results are compared with each other to determine efficient section type. Also finite element analysis was performed to verify analysis model. It is demonstrated that the results of numerical analysis agree well with experimental results.

The toxicity of 54 selected process effluents of 16 industry classifications in Korea was evaluated by bioassay test using fish Oryzias latipes, invertebrate Daphnia magna, algae Selenastrum capricornutum and bacteria Vibrio fischeri. Our results demonstrate that the toxicity assessment, such as bioassay test, is effective and of practical use for industrial wastewater management in 54 selected effluents with the limitation of the physico-chemical permit. Among 54 effluents, 4 sample failed physico-chemical permit limitation and 50 passed it. The physcio-chemical measurement items and permit concentrations on the present Water Quality Conservation Act are low related a ecotoxicity.

지구온난화를 유발하는 온실가스의 대표적인 성분으로는 이산화탄소, 메탄, 아산화질소, CFC 등을 들 수 있으며, 주요 온실기체들에 대한 대기 중 농도가 과거보다 현저하게 증가되었음이 확인되고 있다. $N_2$O은 대기 중의 농도는 낮으나 상대적으로 지구온난화에 기여하는 정도가 $CO_2$에 비해 질량기준으로 310배가 높고, 생체 발생량이 크기 때문에 지구규모수지에 있어서 신중하게 고려되어야 한다. 온실기체의 국가배출자료는 기후변화협약과 관련된 국제협상 및 국내 저감대책 수립에 없어서는 안될 중요한 기초자료이다. (중략)

Mathematical communication is necessary to exchange mathematical idea among participants in teaching-learning process. The promotion of mathematical communication competence is clearly stated in many parts of the 2007 revised curriculum. As a result, mathematical communication tasks are contained in 'high school Mathematics' textbook. At this point of time when increasing importance of mathematical communication is realized, we will check over mathematical communication and analyze communicative tasks corner in 'high school Mathematics' textbook in this paper And thereby we hope this study help prepare for practical communicative tasks corner suggesting a way for invigoration of mathematical communication.

The purpose of this study is analyzing the preference of young children for the outward appearance of a teacher-aided humanoid robot. The subjects of this study were 180 kindergarten children who were 4 years old. Ninety five children among the subjects were male, and 85 children were female. The instrument used for this study consisted of 15 questions that involved 3 domains; figure, face, and practical use of robot. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, young children preferred a smooth and intimate robot, and one that had a similar size to them. Second, young children preferred a more characteristic face with big eyes. Third, young children preferred a robot which had a contoured body Fourth, young children preferred a robot which had two legs or tank wheels. Fifth, young children preferred a robot that could play with them and be manipulated by them.

Picture book is the artistic format to develop forms an organic relationship with text and illustration. Not only meaning which the text and illustration deliver from the picture book but understand the symbolic meaning can discover new enjoyment of reading picture book. Sees the text and illustration of the picture book at one unit which is put in indivisible relationship and analyzing in semeiology provides the viewpoint which is important in picture book comprehension. The Greimas's theory of signification leads and understands the interaction of the text and illustration of world-famous author Anthony Browne's picture book 'Gorilla'. In addition, analysing the structural connection with text and visual expression it approaches the integrated meaning of a story from a new point of view. From the researches of existing interpreted the Hanna and relationship of dad was simple being lonely but this research sees which there exists not only paternal love but also heterosexuality between Hanna and dad and could newly be interpreted with the viewpoint where heal the discord is principal.

An example of functional army's training wear was developed with careful considerations given to the actual user. Three steps of a functional clothing design process were followed in the design procedure. First, information on the adequacy of the current army's training wear was collected by interviews with 192 persons. Second, the current design and construction of the training wear was altered to meet the user's need from the result of the interview. Third, the performance of the newly designed army's training wear was evaluated for their effectiveness in several aspects such as conditions of the microclimate within clothing, metabolic rate, garment pressure during arm movements and appearance during body motions.

The hydro-dynamical and ecological coupled model were applied in the Tokyo Bay, to evaluate the flow pattern including water quality parameters and the distribution of biomass flux, and to compare with the results obtained from the satellite data during March 2001. The flow pattern and salinity distribution obtained from the present model were nearly identical with those of the previous studies. SST from NOAA/AVHRR was $2.5^{\circ}C$ higher than model results in the mouth of bay and $0.5^{\circ}C$ lower than model results in the inner bay, respectively. It was found that the concentration of chlorophyll-a estimated from SeaWiFS was considerably higher than that of model result, regardless similar distribution pattern. This disagreement will be studied through the more elaborate investigation in the future.

This study analysed the narrative strategies in TV drama utilized in order to support the recent feminism movements. The analysis revealed that this TV drama breaks away from the clichéd patriarchal drama series. It portrays the main characters are not the sons but the two daughters-in-law, and represents the women challenging the order of the patriarchy, and resolving the issues. In this drama, men's power was removed and female agents were held up to ridicule. In addition, it eradicates the traditional female conflict structures and creates a strong bond between the females. With this storyline, TV series concludes with two achievements. One, the stepmother and the mother co-parent the child instead of the father, suggests that a non-blood related matriarchal family is possible. Two, the heir to the chaebol family, which is traditionally a patrilineal structure, is not the oldest son or the immoral son, but the lesbian daughter-in-law, overturning the idea of heteronormativity that is dominant in the patriarchal system.
