The Effects of Quality of Education Servics on Student Satisfaction, Image, Commitment and Loyalty (교육 서비스품질이 학생만족, 이미지, 몰입과 학생충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of educational service quality on student satisfaction, university image, commitment, and loyalty in the changing environment of university education environment, and to suggest a strategic plan for university education in high quality. To do this, we set up six hypotheses and conducted an empirical analysis with the sample of 229 senior students attending colleges and universities in the metropolitan area. The results of hypothesis verification says that the educational service quality has a positive effect on satisfaction and image, and the satisfaction shows an influence on commitment and loyalty. But the image proved to have no effect on commitment. The commitment was found to affect loyalty. It can be said that the efforts to improve the quality of educational service have an impact on the image and loyalty of colleges and universities and the effects help to improve the long term competitiveness of colleges and universities. The ultimate effects for the quality control of educational service will suggest the survival ways in the changing university educational environment.

A Study on the Image of Radiological Technologists in Private Hospitals Perceived by University Students Majoring in Radiology (방사선과 대학생이 생각하는 개인병원에 근무하는 방사선사의 이미지 연구)

  • This study was conducted aiming at understanding types of the image of radiological technologists in private hospitals targeting university students majoring in radiology, and suggesting a strategy for improving the image of radiological technologists in private hospitals according to the categorized types. To achieve the foregoing objectives, this study applied Q methodology which is suitable for research of human subjectivity. With 31 university students majoring in radiology as a P-sample, this study employed forced distribution method with 20 Q-samples. Results show that the image of radiological technologist in private hospitals perceived by university students majoring in radiology was divided into three types as 'Unstable future type', 'Affirmative working atmosphere type' and 'Dissatisfied organizational system type'. This study understood characteristics of each type and is expected to be used as basic data for improvement of radiological technologists in private hospitals.

  • Image processing through cameras such as self-driving, CCTV, mobile phone security, and parking facilities is being used to solve many real-life problems. Simple classification is solved through image processing, but it is difficult to find images or in-image features of complexly mixed objects. To solve this feature point, we utilize deep learning techniques in classification, detection, and segmentation of image data so that we can think and judge closely. Of course, the results are better than just image processing, but we confirm that the results judged by the method of image segmentation using deep learning have deviations from the real object. In this paper, we study how to perform accuracy improvement through simple image processing just before outputting the output of deep learning image segmentation to increase the precision of image segmentation.

Customer Friendly Image towards Regional General Hospitals (지역 종합병원에 대한 고객친화 이미지)

  • For the purpose of providing valuable marketing data to improve hospital management an assessment of customer friendly image towards local general hospitals in a city near from Seoul was carried out. The results are as follows. First, it was possible to measure & record the level of customer friendly image towards general hospitals & different regions. Second, a multiple regression analysis and AHP analysis showed that the expertise, continuity affected the customer friendly image of the hospitals but the reputation and economics showed relatively low score. This study contributes to make hospital strategy for local hospital marketing specialist showing that hospital should improve expertise and continuity to enhance medical customer friendly image of the hospital. In conclusion. this study results present primary data for correct decision making for authorities of local general hospitals who have concerns about increasing customer friendly image to improve hospital management.

  • 차세대 지능적 무기체계의 자동화를 목표로 SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) 영상 신호를 이용한 표적 인식률 향상을 위한 여러가지 방법들이 제안되어 왔다. 기존의 연구들은 SAR 영상의 고차원 특징을 그대로 사용했기 때문에 표적 인식의 성능저하가 있었다. 본 연구에서는 정보 획득 거리가 길고, 날씨에 제약이 없이 전천후 작전 운용이 가능하도록 레이더의 특징과 고해상도 영상을 결합한 SAR 이미지를 이용한 표적 인식률 향상 방법을 제안한다. 효과적인 표적 인식을 하기위해 고차원의 특징벡터를 저차원의 특징벡터로 축소하는 PCA(Principal Component Analysis)를 기반으로 하는 SVM(Support Vector Machine)을 사용한 표적 인식 기법을 사용하였고, PCA 기반의 SVM 분류기를 이용한 표적 인식이 SVM 만을 사용한 표적 인식보다 향상된 성능을 보인 것을 확인하였다.

  • 문헌자료에 나타나는 분자구조 정보를 인식하고, 분석에 용이한 형태로의 데이터 변환하는 기술은 화학정보학 데이터 수집을 용이하게 만드는 중요 정보처리 기술 중 하나이다. 딥러닝 기반의 분자구조 인식 기술이 여럿 개발되었으나, 소규모 분자구조 이미지 데이터집합에 대해서는 학습이 충분하기 어려워 인식 정확도를 향상시키기 위한 학습 전략이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 데이터 부족으로 인한 학습 효율 저하 문제를 극복하기 위해 이미지 생성 모델을 활용한 준지도학습 알고리즘을 연구하였다. 제안하는 학습 알고리즘은 대조군 대비 5.4%p 성능 향상을 보여주었다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate 188 university students at Seoul National University and to present self - image data to university students for the development of small and medium human resources. The results of the study are as follows. First, there was a positive correlation between the correlation between the image of the trainee perceived by university students and the self - image, the correlation between the image of the trainee perceived by the university students and the voice image, and the correlation between the voice image and the self - image perceived by university students. Second, as a result of examining whether or not the voice image is mediated in the relationship between the image of the talent and the self - image perceived by university students, Therefore, it is confirmed that as the image level of the talent related to the human resource of SMEs increases, the level of the voice image increases and the self image level also improves accordingly.

An Efficient Method to Find Accurate Spot-matching Patterns in Protein 2-DE Image Analysis (단백질 2-DE 이미지 분석에서 정확한 스팟 매칭 패턴 검색을 위한 효과적인 방법)

  • In protein 2-DE image analysis, the accuracy of spot-matching operation which identifies the spot of the same protein in each 2-DE gel image is intensively influenced by the errors caused by the various experimental conditions. This paper proposes an efficient method to find more accurate spot-matching patterns based on multiple reference gel images in spot-matching pattern analysis in protein 2-DE image analysis. Additionally, in order to improve the reduce the execution time which is increased exponentially along with the increasing number of gel images, a "partition then extension" framework is used to find spot-matching pattern of long length and of higher accuracy. In the experiments on real 2-DE images of human liver tissue are used to confirm the accuracy and the efficiency of the proposed algorithm.

  • The integral imaging system is an auto-stereoscopic display that allows users to see 3D images without wearing special glasses. In the integral imaging system, the 3D object information is taken from several view points and stored as elemental images. Then, users can see a 3D reconstructed image by the elemental images displayed through a lens array. The elemental images can be created by computer graphics, which is referred to the computer-generated integral imaging. The process of creating the elemental images is called image mapping. There are some image mapping methods proposed in the past, such as PRR(Point Retracing Rendering), MVR(Multi-Viewpoint Rendering) and PGR(Parallel Group Rendering). However, they have problems with heavy rendering computations or performance barrier as the number of elemental lenses in the lens array increases. Thus, it is difficult to use them in real-time graphics applications, such as virtual reality or real-time, interactive games. In this paper, we propose a new image mapping method named VVR(Viewpoint Vector Rendering) that improves real-time rendering performance. This paper describes the concept of VVR first and the performance comparison of image mapping process with previous methods. Then, it discusses possible directions for the future improvements.

A Study on the Variance Based Self-similar Block Search for Fractal Image Compression (프랙탈 이미지 압축을 위한 분산 기반 유사 블록 탐색 연구)

  • Fractal image coding provides many promising qualities including the high compression ratio. The coding process however suffers from the long search time of domain block pool because the size of the domain block pool is often very large. In this paper, we introduce a hybrid domain block pool search method that combines the block classification and the variance based searching. This hybrid method makes use of the fact that the variance of a block is independent of the block classification. Thus, this hybrid method enhances the search speed by up to an O(number of classes) factor over the purely variance based searching method. An experimental result shows that our method enhances the search speed by up to 17 times over the purely variance based searching method. We also propose an adjustable variance based searching method that further enhances the search speed without noticeable loss of image quality.
