In the field of deep learning, there are many algorithms mainly after GAN in research related to generation, but in terms of generation, there are similarities and differences with art. If the generation in the engineering aspect is mainly to judge the presence or absence of a quantitative indicator or the correct answer and the incorrect answer, the creation in the artistic aspect creates a creation that interprets the world and human life by cross-validating and doubting the correct answer and incorrect answer from various perspectives. In this paper, the video generation ability of deep learning was interpreted from the perspective of collage and compared with the results made by the artist. The characteristic of the experiment is to compare and analyze how much GAN reproduces the result of the creator made with the collage technique and the difference between the creative part, and investigate the satisfaction level by making performance evaluation items for the reproducibility of GAN. In order to experiment on how much the creator's statement and purpose of expression were reproduced, a deep learning algorithm corresponding to the statement keyword was found and its similarity was compared. As a result of the experiment, GAN did not meet much expectations to express the collage technique. Nevertheless, the image association showed higher satisfaction than human ability, which is a positive discovery that GAN can show comparable ability to humans in terms of abstract creation.

In this paper, we propose a marketing strategy for traditional markets that lays the foundation for regional economic development by developing traditional markets as regionally specialized tourism resources. This study conducted a survey of local residents and tourists, who are market users, and conducted a factor analysis to establish a market brand strategy using SPSS 25 and a reliability analysis to verify internal consistency. In addition, correlation analysis was performed to verify the significance to confirm the relevance. The analysis results of Anyang Central Market brand tourism products for traditional market marketing strategies are as follows. First, it is necessary to establish a brand identity that activates brand elements and brand criteria and brand positioning. Second, it is required to improve brand awareness, which can elicit brand awareness and brand information and brand memory. Third, it is necessary to improve the brand image that can increase brand association and brand loyalty. Fourth, it is necessary to make efforts to improve brand equity, which can improve brand value, brand concern, and brand life. By developing and proposing marketing policies for traditional markets by utilizing market brand strategies, it can be expected to revitalize traditional markets and local economies as specialized local tourism resources.

The Byungsan Neo-Confucian Academy, a 17th-century World Heritage Site in Korea, is being praised as a manifestation of naturalness or non-artificiality of the traditional Korean borrowed scenery technique (借景, chagyeong). This study, however, aims to reinterpret the chagyeong of the Byungsan Academy (hereafter the Academy) as a device of illusion evoking an idealized vision of nature. In the process of interpretation, 'picture and frame'-a widely accepted expression that represents the chagyeong of the Academy-will be foregrounded as the pivotal concept mediating the change of perspectives from naturalistic to ideological. This study consists of the following three parts. First, it shows that 'picture and frame' represent a modern way of seeing the Academy as an architectural heritage in harmony with nature; it denotes pristine nature and the empty architectural frame that safely circumscribes the innate beauty of the natural landscape. Second, departing from the naturalistic perspective, this study argues that the architectural framework of the Academy composes scenography enticing the viewer to imagine the idealized, Confucian image of nature that compares to the landscape imagery found in the landscape poetry and paintings that were produced and appreciated by the 17th-century Confucian literati. Lastly, based on the above interpretation, this study stresses that the 'picture' one encountered at the Academy in the 17th century was not the framed scene of a natural landscape but the illusion it caused; the architectural 'frame' worked not as a symbol of naturalness but as an institutional apparatus of vision manipulating the way one sees-and therefore imagines-the landscape.
Market players have realized the importance of brand power and tried to develop effective marketing programs which focus on consumer's brand experience. This study aims to investigate brand experience and brand personality effect on brand attitude which is overall consumer's faith toward brands and repurchase intention in food-franchised by Structural Equation Model. As results, both brand experience and brand personality affect brand attitude although brand experience has more influence than brand personality. As consumers show positive brand experience and attitude, repurchase intention is higher. Brand attitude plays a mediation role in the relation of brand experience and personality, and repurchase intention. Also brand experience shows more influence than others on repurchase intention.
The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the nature of Objective Psyche based on island related case materials. Theoretical background starts with psychological meaning of islands, a kind affective symbol rather than cognitive image, and creation myths as the story of man's awareness of the world; Chaos as archaic identity (unconscious), islands as emergence of the ego from unconscious. In alchemical symbolism, island related to coagulatio, the operation which turns something into earth, the realm of ego. In addition, related parts of Hindu creation myths, Korean giant woman creator Sulmoonde-halmang, and legends of "Relocation of Island/Mountain" will be presented to integrate with case materials. Case A : Starts with a dream of killing a huge dragon and dead body became an island. Myths of Eskimo, The Eagle's Gift, the giant woman creator in Korea, and Marduk, the Babylonian hero will be integrated. Case B : Prior to introduce six island images in sand trays, a dream of a giant serpent (python) wound around her body will be presented to portray her situation. By relating Jung's "The Sermons to the Dead," her effort to make the solid island regarded as an act of bringing order out of original oneness (pleroma). Then stresses the importance to coagulate archetypal image Case C : A vignette of active imagination seminar where island image emerged will be described. Her endeavor of focusing on inner image related to the Hindu Creator, Cherokee creation myth, as well as Sulmoonde-halmang. As the Global Age has arrived, the domain of festivals has expanded to fulfill the role of being not only a tourist attraction but of being a factor that determines the image and identity of cities, and the factor of enhancing the brand value of a particular city is being focused upon. The city of Bucheon, which aims to be a culture oriented city, is attempting to utilize the Bucheon International Comics Festival as a cultural asset for the revitalization of the city. This study has as its purpose the development of an evaluation index model on the brand value of the Bucheon International Comics Festival and research being conducted based on the developed evaluation index model on the awareness level of the citizens of Bucheon of the festival. In regards to this, the theoretical background was examined and the index model was developed based on precedent research. Based on this, a survey of 1,000 citizens of Bucheon was conducted in this study. This study conducted a survey targeting 500 persons, dividing them into 2 groups according to whether they participated in the festival. The survey of this study established 9 evaluation categories for the International Comics Festival evaluation index model which consists of demographic research and participation motivation, value of comics, festival brand awareness and association image, perceived product quality and loyalty for the festival, internationality of the festival and urban activation. Each survey question is composed of 5 points scale measurement. As a result of the survey, 'for an education of children' was the highest for the participation motivation, and 'not knowing of the festival information' was the highest for the reason of not having participated. The industrial value was evaluated as the highest among the value of comics by the both two groups, and it was studied that there was perception gap for the festival according to whether they participated in the festival for each survey question. It was revealed that the level of awareness of the Bucheon International Comics Festival was "normal," the "city revitalization" index and the "value of comics" index were relatively high and the "international character of the festival" index was the lowest. Furthermore, it was shown that there were differences in the awareness of the established categories of the developed evaluation index model based on whether or not there was participation in the festival. This study comprehensively organizes these analytical results and derives implications which can be used as data for the criteria of the development of future strategy for the Bucheon International Comics Festival.
Korean Shamanism has long been regarded as the peripheral cult or supersition by the majoriy of the society. This fact is a result by the influence of the mass media, especially the motion pictures, which intentionally reflected the negative images of the Shamanism. The documentary films, which stress the objectivity and the reality, rather disclose the neutral position toward the Shamanism. In fact, the directors of the documentary films who have more or less close relationship with the Shamanism have tried to exhibit the mental world and the traditionality of the Shamanism. In this paper, I will explore the value of Shamanism reflected in the documentary films. I focus of two films; directed by the Korean and directed by a foreigner. In this way, I can compare the attitudes of the two directors toward the Korean Shamanism. The director of confessed that he was attracted by the aspect of a musical underlied in the shaman ritual. However, the film does not show the artistic beauty of the shaman music because the director failed to understand the essential aspect of the shaman ritual, that is, the music. In this way, the director failed to show the distinct characteristics of the shamanism to the audience. The director of , a music herself, was focused on the music of the shamanism. The story flows to the adventure to seek a "master" with a long journey to enjoy diverse genres of Korean performing arts. This story resembles the epic shaman song, the Princess Bari. In this way, the audience can easily grasp the beauty of Korean culture. Music is said to be a universal language and, at the same time, a non-universal language which reflects a special trait of a cultural community. The Korean shaman ritual music is a non-universal language that is an accumulation of the Korean culture for a long time. The Korean director fails to exhibit the essential characteristics of the Shamanism since he does not have enough knowledge toward the shaman ritual music in . However, the foreign director, who is a music herself, successively disclose the underlying beauty of Korean shaman ritual music and Korean traditional culture in .

This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of a polar literacy education program for elementary and middle school students, and to derive implications for new education to respond to climate change. We developed modular education programs based on the seven principles of polar literacy established by the Polar-ICE team. We divided them into two courses, one emphasizing science concepts and another emphasizing humanities and sociological issues. We then selected and structured detailed programs suitable for the two courses. These two courses were applied to 26 elementary and middle school students for approximately 69 hours in a Saturday science class hosted by the Department of Science Education at a university in Seoul. The 26 students were divided into three groups. Two groups completed the science education program for polar literacy and a humanities and social studies education program for polar literacy, respectively. The third group, the control group, received general science education unrelated to polar literacy. Before and after running the programs, all three groups responded to a polar literacy test and questionnaires that used vocabulary and presented scenes associated with polar regions. The test results were expressed using Wilcoxon signed ranks, which is a non-parametric test method, and improvements made upon completion of the program were analyzed. From a cognitive aspect, all three groups showed improvement after completing the program in the knowledge area; however, the experimental groups showed a greater degree of improvement than the control group, and there was a clear difference in the contents or materials explicitly covered. From an affective aspect, the difference between before and after the program was minor, but the group that focused on humanities and social issues showed a statistically significant improvement. Regarding changes in polar imagery, the two experimental groups tended to diverge from monotonous images to more diverse images compared to the control group. Based on the above results, we suggested methods to increase the effectiveness of polar literacy education programs, the importance of polar literacy as appropriate material for scientific thinking and earth system education, measures to improve attitudes related to the polar region, and the need to link to school curriculums.

This study scrutinizes the titles of serial poems on Japanese Apricot, which have lucid characters on season and time changes, having been appreciated and recited by the scholars in the Choseon Dynasty era and analyses the records of Zhang zi(1153~1235), a writer in Song(宋) Dynasty in China, having presented the objects harmonizing perfectly with Japanese Apricot. The results of this study categorizes the objects of Japanese Apricot appreciation and establishes the landscape characteristics on Japanese Apricot appreciation affiliated with as follows. First, the objects of Japanese Apricot appreciation are categorized into 'form of blossoms', 'natural feature(景物)', 'place of tree planting', 'the picturesque scene(景色)' and 'behavior'. Second, the scholars regarded the single trees whose branches are grotesque as the objects of appreciation and enjoyed them. They preferred white and single petal Japanese Apricot and admired red Japanese Apricot which has Taoism images. Third, they admired pines and camelias which represent fidelity and strength and valued Japanese Apricot with cranes which remind themselves of solitary scholars. Fourth, they appreciated the images of Japanese Apricot reflected on the water, and the poetically inspiring atmosphere where the trees are planted by the window. Fifth, the moon and snow were crucial weather conditions for appreciating. cold weather and time from night to dawn were ideally suited for enjoying. Sixth, they enjoyed blossoms in various fashions like bottling(甁梅), potting(盆梅), green-housing(龕梅), searching(龕梅) and black-and-white painting(墨梅) with a view to seeing blossoms earlier than the usual flowering time. Moreover, they used paper drapes, bead curtains, mirrors and ice lamps for active appreciation. They also listened to the sound of Piri(wind) and Geomungo(string), played go and drew tea with noble and elegant beauties when they enjoyed Japanese Apricot. The scholars influenced by the neo-Confucianism, which contemplates the objects, attached the specific sentiments like memories, grieves, dreams and farewells to Japanese Apricot and appreciated them. As stated above the scholars enjoyed the landscape including the picturesque scene like climate-weather, time-season and human behaviors not to mention the physical beauty of Japanese Apricot themselves and objects in company with Japanese Apricot including animals and plants.
