Many researches are going on with regard to issues and problems related to mobile database systems, which are caused by the weak connectivity of wireless networks, the mobility and the Portability of mobile clients. Mobile computing satisfies user's demands for convenience and Performance to use information at any time and in any Place, but it has many Problems to be solved in the aspect of data management. The purpose of our study is to design Mobile Query Processing System(MQPS) to solve problems related to database hoarding, the maintenance of shared data consistency and the optimization of logging, which are caused by the weak connectivity and disconnection of wireless networks inherent in mobile database systems under mobile client-server environments. In addition, we proved the superiority of the proposed MQPS by comparing its performance to the C-I-S(Client-Intercept- Server) model.

Mobile RFID which integrates mobile network with RFID technique is the technique to get the information of products by transmitting the identifier through mobile network after reading the identifier of RFID tag. It attached on the equipment as the mobile phone. However, mobile RFID has the privacy-related problem among requested secure problems required from the existing RFID. In this paper, the random key created by mobile RFID reader and Tag during the inter-certificating and initialization procedure for mobile RFID users to receive tag information from backend server securely is divided into random sizes and any information on the tag which requires the protection of privacy shouldn't be provided to anyone. In performance analysis, previous protocol used modulo operation in registration and login computation. But the proposed protocol has higher efficiency in saving space and computation volume than MARP scheme and Kim. et. al scheme because our protocol is accomplished by mutual authentication and registering user information through one-way hash function.

The prior data structure coursewares have been limited to using a simple screen structure with text, pictures or plain animation so that they have been failed to promote favorable interaction between learners and instructors, and unnecessarily charges the screen. In order to overcome these problems, this paper provides an applet-based simulation environment which enables learner to operate and control the data structure operation with their own data, therefore, the learners can actively and positively participate in a study with this courseware. The instructors can easily deliver the education contents to the learners by using web simulation suitable for IT education media. Also, the courseware can offer a class feedback and required data for students estimation by recording a log.

최근 들어 3D에 관한 관심이 높아지면서 각종 기술적인 이슈는 물론 3D 콘텐츠의 제작 방향에 대한 논의가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 흔히들 3D 콘텐츠라고 부르는 것은 현재로선 어떤 특정한 장르나 엄정한 정의를 가진 용어라기보다는 일종의 새로운 매체기술을 위한, 매체 기준적인 콘텐츠의 분류 형태라고 볼 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 3D 콘텐츠라는 용어를 새로이 썼다고 해서 좋은 콘텐츠가 지녀야 할 근본적인 요소가 달라지는 것은 아니다. 물론 매체의 발전과 변화에 따라 대중들의 가치관, 예술적 시대적 패러다임, 근본적인 인간의 생활방식까지 바뀔 수 있다는 것은 자명한 사실이다. 이는 회화 문화에서 사진의 등장으로, 사진에서 동영상으로, 영화에서 TV와 비디오로, 그리고 아날로그에서 디지털로의 중심 이동이 인간의 삶에 얼마나 큰 변화를 초래했는지만 상기해봐도 쉽게 알 수 있다. 그러므로 3D기술이 가진 파급효과와 영향력이 어디까지인지 쉽게 단정할 수는 없는 것이다. 그러나 언급했듯이 어떤 콘텐츠라도 결국엔 인간이 향유하리란 점은 분명한 사실이다. 현재는 3D 콘텐츠의 제작 방향에 대해서 지나치게 매체 중심적으로 접근하려는 경향이 있는데, 역사적으로 언제나 인간에게 매력적이었던 콘텐츠의 기본은 변함이 없었다. 변하는 것은 오히려 매체나 기술, 하드웨어 쪽이었다. 따라서 콘텐츠를 매체에 이식하는 가변적인 내용물쯤으로 이해하는 기술중심의 사고에서, 인간이 근본적으로 원하는 이야기 콘텐츠를 구현하기 위해 매체가 변해왔다는 점을 이해해야 하는 콘텐츠 중심 사고도 할 필요가 있는 것이다. 본고에서는 과거 많은 매체들의 역사를 통해 새로운 매체 기반에서의 콘텐츠의 모습이 어떻게 변해왔는지를 되짚어 보려고 하며, 이를 통해 앞으로 3D 콘텐츠의 향방을 유추해 볼 기회를 마련하고자 한다.

It is said that the university mathematics education in Korea faces critical situations due to the decreases of both qualities and quantities of students. In this paper we examine college students in order to know their basic ability for understanding about fundamental functions, such as polynomial, trigonometric, logarithm and exponential functions which have learned from highschool mathematics courses. The subject are 354 freshmen of 4 universities located in Daejeon and Chongchung area. The result of this study shows as follows. i ) More than half students are not able to draw graphs of given functions, except polynomial. ii ) More students do not fully understand about function properties such as domain, codomain, range, max and min value, cycle and parallel translation.

공공 부문이나 대기업에서 운영하는 웹 사이트의 규모가 커지면서 분야별로 사이트가 나누어지게 되는데, 사이트를 이동할 때 마다 로그인을 다시 해야 하는 불편이 있다. 따라서 최근 이용자들의 불편을 줄이기 위하여 SSO (Single Sing-On) 통합인증 체제를 도입하는 사례가 늘고 있다. 통합 인증 시스템을 구축하면서 다수 웹 사이트의 회원을 통합하고 이에 대한 회원 정보 DB를 구축하여야 하는데, 빠른 인증서비스를 위해서 LDAP(Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)를 사용하는 것이 일반적이다. 이때 회원정보 DB와 LDAP의 정보에 대한 동기화 문제와 웹 사이트를 통한 회원가입과 동시에 적용되어야 하는 요구사항을 만족시키기 위해 본 논문에서는 회원 정보 DB와 LDAP의 정보 사이의 동기화 방법을 제안하고 구현하여 그 성능을 분석하였다.

은하의 형태학적 진화 양상을 분석하기 위해 허블 울트라 딥 필드 (Hubble Ultra Deep Field; HUDF)에 있는 밝은 은하를 조사하였다. Coe et al. (2006)의 HUDF 카탈로그에 포함된 적색편이, 적경, 적위, 밝기 등급, 픽셀 면적 값을 사용하여 HUDF은하의 B필터 영상에서 밝은 순서로 1000개의 천체를 선택하고 이로부터 939개의 은하의 육안 분류를 수행하였다. Elmegreen et al. (2005)의 분류 방법에 기초하여 타원 은하, 렌즈 은하, 나선 은하, 올챙이 은하(Tadpole), 이중 은하(Double), 사슬 은하(Chain), 덩어리 은하(Clump cluster)와 그 외의 불규칙 은하로 분류하였다. 이렇게 분류된 은하의 분류형과 은하의 적색이동 사이의 관계를 분석하여 HUDF 은하의 적색편이에 따른 형태학적 진화 양상을 찾아낼 수 있었다. 올챙이 은하, 이중 은하, 사슬형 은하, 덩어리 은하 등 병합 단계에 있는 것으로 추정되는 은하들은 적색편이가 작을수록 그 수가 대체로 감소하는 경향을 보이는 반면, 나선은하들은 적색편이가 작을수록 그 수가 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 또한, 적색편이와 은하 크기 사이의 관계를 보았을 때 낮은 적색 편이에서 나타나는 상대적으로 큰 은하들이 대부분 나선 은하였으며 이러한 결과는 은하 생성의 Bottom-Up 가설로 설명이 가능하다. 이와 함께 은하 형태의 정량적 분석을 위해 각 은하의 CAS와 함께 M20, Gini Coefficient(G)를 구하여 이들과 육안 분류와의 관계를 분석하여, CASGM20, 으로부터 은하의 분류 형을 찾는 방법을 모색하였다.

As various portable digital devices are developed, the space of the TV audience is expanding. We propose a structure of broadcasting control in VOD service in which viewers can resume the viewing of digital broadcasting contents in different devices after they have stopped the viewing to move to another place. Then we design a session and resource management system of VOD for this control. In particular, we design the session management of each consumer and simulate the seamless VOD connection model.

In this study, we developed a world map learning system for elementary education that uses Google Cloud platform STT, Dialog Flow, and fan holograms to recognize the voices of learners and to show and explain three-dimensional images of suitable results as holograms. As a result of the experiments and interviews, it is expected to be helpful for improving the learning effect by inducing students' interest and immersion and is expected to be effectively used for collaborative learning and education for students with disabilities.

We propose a new bivariate zero-inflated negative binomial regression model to allow heterogeneous dispersions. To show the performance of our proposed model, Health Care data in Deb and Trivedi (1997) are used to compare it with the other bivariate zero-inflated negative binomial model proposed by Wang (2003) that has a common dispersion between the two response variables. This empirical study shows better results from the views of log-likelihood and AIC.
